Solo shows, here we come! It seems that the Post Traumatic Tour is finally starting to get under way. A Mike Shinoda announcement will be coming at 7pm PST on Sunday, May 6 - and it seems like we can expect tour dates!

Mike didn't specify, but it's looking like Asia will be getting the first proper leg of the Post Traumatic Tour! In his Instagram post, Mike begins the caption with "大家好," which is Mandarin for "Hello everyone." This hints at China being included in this announcement - or something to do with China. The symbol in the top left is a symbol of Hong Kong, too, so perhaps he'll be performing there. Both China and Hong Kong raised a ton of noise during out Post Traumatic Tour campaign, so it'll be no surprise if he is playing there!

If true, these will be Mike's first announced solo headlining shows! All other announced performances so far have been festival appearances, including the Summer Sonic festival shows in Japan, which were the first shows Mike announced overall. These shows will likely take place in the days leading up to the festival appearances in Japan. Mike recently visited China (as seen in the 'About You' music video), but the last time he performed there was in 2015 on Linkin Park's The Hunting Party tour. At the time, he had just started playing 'Welcome' during the sets. It's been even longer since he's been in Hong Kong - the last time was in 2013, when Linkin Park performed there on the Living Things World Tour. They held the 9th LPU Summit there, performing 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY),' 'The Catalyst,' and 'In The End' during the soundcheck for fans.

Watch Mike perform 'Remember The Name' and 'Welcome' live in Beijing, China in 2015.

UPDATE: Mike posted a second image, beginning the caption with "Sawadeecup," which translates to "hey guys" in Thai. Looks like a Thailand show is coming up! This'll be the first time since 2011 that Mike's been in Thailand, the last being the second to last show of the A Thousand Suns Tour. Thailand is one of few Asian countries he performed in when touring for Fort Minor in 2006, opening for 50 Cent in Bangkok. Looks like an Asia tour IS coming!

What do you think is coming? China and/or Hong Kong seem like big contenders here. Who's excited to see what Mike has in store for us? Where do you think he'll be playing? Mike's first performances are coming up fast - under ten days to go until May 12, where he'll be doing double duty and playing the KROW Weenie Roast in the afternoon (which will be webcasted) and Identity LA at night, which will feature a longer set. For those curious about what he'll be playing, it's possible that his new Apple Music playlist is teasing some of the songs he'll be playing.

Wait what, two announcements? I'm intrigued

Both posts have a different time (7pm PST and 9pm PST) on them so there are going to be two different show announcements at two different times.
