I totally don't understand your love to this guy. Like c'mon, is it just because the Lost? Mike said in one of the latest interviews in some cases (and we don't how many cases/songs are out there like that, it could be half of the songs from PT for this example) it is a back and forward work. He send the multis to Manny, Manny will do the work and send the mulltis back and Mike will not be happy about the final result, he will re-send them to Manny and tell to fix this and that and that can be 10 times when Manny will deliver his final mix that Mike will have no any reservations about it. It's not like it's always one time that Mike will send the multis, he will send them back and it's done. So based on that I can tell you, that you will never know if you will like the HT mixed by Manny, until you hear it, just like with any other new album. On topic: the tracks on the previous versions of PT albums had various sample rates if it's about 24-bit, the tracks had 44.1kHz (11 tracks), 48.0kHz (5 tracks) and 96.0kHz (2 tracks), now with this new remastered version all tracks have 44.1kHz. Is that was the reason why they did the remaster? If I'm right the main reason this is now released could be because of the requests of the digital stores/streaming platforms.

I remember him saying that when was asking how much songs were changed from 2002 and he literally said something that they try to keep them original as much they can and that he could always re-record his part. So you are wrong or I am wrong. About "barely finished" - the session/multitracks that management found had vocals by Chester (finished), vocals by Mike (finished) and the whole intrumental that was (finished) so now what you need to do is the process to pick your favorite vocal, guitar, bass takes and do the final mix, that's all. Can we say that the song before that process was barely finished - yep.

What's next for birthday? Is collision course 20th possible?
martinez replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
CC is one of those albums that still don't have the Hi-Res version available on streaming platforms, so I think that if they gonna do anniversary of it, this will be the very first thing what they will do. They can also throw any bonus content to it. Potentially CC will happened in the next year in 2024, then in the next year 2025 you will have Fort Minor's TRT anniversary. Then you have 2 or 1 and half year to wait for MTM20. -
What's next for birthday? Is collision course 20th possible?
martinez replied to thigolpbr's topic in Everything Linkin Park
This topic is not in the newswire so I don't know but my small modes "wish list" for M20 that I posted (especially in one case) proved that someone is watching those "requests" so I will make a list of some stuff to release/fix/upgrade: - HD upgrade of the video - making of footage - full live show - fix the censored version of Izzo/In The End, which is not censored (it contains son of a bitch) - instrumentals/acapellas for all 6 songs - release that Numb/Encore (lyric video) that you have since 2020 -
Mike singing IMH acapella was awesome. The band needs to put out another box set real quick for JZLP with some awesome exclusives, so he will stop being that much a frustrated guy.

Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition) | Out April 7, 2023
martinez replied to BeardyWilderness's topic in Newswire
You can call it a rough mix, yeah no problem, like the rest of the demos besides first 3 were mixed in 2002 so those are probably rough mixes + they are all unfinished. So you can continue to agree with me with another 5+ more posts if you want I never was saying they were fully finished songs nor i said anything about Andy, you are the one who just bring those two things. The mix can be done at some point where the song is not finished yet or the already done mix can be improved/changed in the later time, you can check Mike's live stream channel and see how many times he changed the mixes for his most famous jam songs. -
Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition) | Out April 7, 2023

2022 Still, that doesn't mean that the version that Mike found or the session / multitracks found by management were unmixed. Then you add the layers from one to another and do the mixing properly as you want. -

Indeed they were, Mike use the word "we clean the mix" for all of them, which means they were mixed at some point but the band didn't liked them that much so decided to clean them up. Also, all 3 songs (Lost, Fighting Myself, More The Victim) are the only ones mixed in 2022, the rest of the songs from Lost Demos has the original mix done by Mike back then in 2002, the only new thing is that they were mastered. Mike said that so it's all confirmed. We know that there were two different versions, one found by bands management and one found by Mike, so the instrumantal used on the DVD is one of them. -
Update on the site. Finally finished Lost Demos release, the same info is now available, when you will export the info to text file. Added the exact name of the audio file to Healing Foot (04:30) streaming only from the Marbleverse app game, which is: "Thank you, and fun fact intro & Healing Foot" Added new icon, the same as for the live songs but green. The green icon meant to appear in the videos and provide the links to show pages of which the footage was used in the video. So that will be in the music videos that contain a footage from more than one live show or when the audio used in the live video is from the different show than the video itself (screen). I think currently the genius record belongs to Points Of Authority (15 different footage's!). Not sure if all the videos that needed to have the green icon already have it or not. I don't think the Lost video should have it. Also, fixed/updated some other small things. I was thinking about to add the legend (the description of every icon) on the site, but I'm not sure if the site needs that or not. If you have any ideas or thoughts regarding the site, let me know.

100% agree! Lost don't need support anymore, I think Fighting Myself is that much good that can easily defend self, More The Victim needs more support. OML Instrumentals/Acapellas was mastered and delivered by the band to the label. The label was waiting for the right moment to release them. That's what Mike said.

There's no need to create a separate thread about it.

“More The Victim” coming to Rock Band 4 as DLC on 4/13
martinez replied to letdownagain's topic in Newswire
The thread is now save for LPL. I guess no one noticed the download links earlier. No matter if the files have poor quality, don't post any links to them. -
I think Lost is one of the most successful song. Fighting Myself wasn't postponed because of that but rather because Mike's new song was on the way. They don't want to release it on streaming platforms, because they want the song to be exclusive only on the CD, so they can raise more money from that. Why they list iTunes Store? The album is not available in any country there, it's only on Apple Music, Amazon link does not work for me either. Either it's gonna show up there later this week or it is a bug. It seems this supossed to by available for streaming only. If not the official link from the LP side I would consider this release as a mistake, there were such mistakes in the past. The barcode for this album looks weird, the release date is April 1st (Saturday), both not very typically by Warner. I saw some people consider those as playlist. Check the links to both Apple Music and spotify, the links contains "/album/" instead of that they would have "/playlist/" then.

Looks like the band decided to put out an separated album with all the demos from the Meteora|20 called "Lost Demos". The album is available on various streaming platforms. All the songs are the exact same versions as the ones originally released on April 7. Click on the cover for higher quality. Tracklist: Lost (03:19) Fighting Myself (03:21) More The Victim (02:41) Massive (03:08) Healing Foot (03:31) A6 (Meteora|20 Demo) (03:54) Cuidado (Lying From You Demo) (03:18) Husky (Hit The Floor Demo) (03:13) Interrogation (Easier To Run Demo) (03:40) Faint (Meteora|20 Demo) (03:55) Plaster 2 (Figure.09 Demo) (02:56) Shifter (From The Inside Demo) (03:24) Wesside (03:14) Resolution (04:37) Official Linkin Park link for the album: https://lprk.co/lostdemos

Grey Daze Performing Live @ 98KUPD FM Radio’s U Fest 2023
martinez replied to JZLP-Benningstrong's topic in Newswire
If by saying that they will release the live show they meant that they will post it on YT ok but if they menat they would release the CD/DVD than wtf, who made those kind of decisions that quick, if you do something like that for the first time than you're waiting for how the fans gonna respone about it and you're not making the official release of it, which only means that the only reason of why you're doing this are probably the money. -

Yes, they are currently working on it, which is an option to streaming all LPU albums in HQ (if not Hi-Res). -
New album by grandson called "I Love You, I’m Trying" is out today. Mike made a contribution to one of the songs from that album. The song is called "Half My Heart", Mike is credited for co-producing, co-writing and for doing the background vocals for it. Check the song below: Check the credits for the song:

What about LIT M20 version? it seems some of the tracks needs to be fixed too: Don't Stay - the ending contains a small portion of the SIB intro Numb - the ending contains extended intro to Crawling Crawling - the ending contains small portion of the ITE intro I can fix those 3 if you want.

"We will do for you guys something new" - this is not the exact quote, but it's something that Mike said after seeing fan petition about not adding the live songs to LPU albums that much. At this point (LPU8) they didn't even think about releasing the demos for LPU.
-
Description on YouTube video says only: "Remixed by Patrick Zappia" which probably means the remix wasn't made for any other particular project. It's very common for the label to throw the album (the original) version of the song to those kind of releases, especially if the song is massive in terms of popularity. The same they did with Fighting Myself, which also has Lost. It's unnecessary to suspect every time when that happens that the song could be in a different version. If it was it would be mentioned in the song title.
-
Just ingonre the song and you will be happy again. There's no any reason to ackt like that.

"Please Tethered"? There are few artists under the name "PLZ". Don't know, we will have to wait for the credits.
