  1. No, the Papercuts CD have the album version of it. I think they never did the proper single version of it, they just edited the album version and just fade out it at the end. Here's the screen with comparsion of the ending: https://i.ibb.co/Fq4bPcP/345658.png
  2. So yesterday the new version of Papercuts was released. It can be found here: Spotify, Qobuz, iTunes/Apple Music, Juno. Here are the info about the differences comparing the previous digital version of it: 01.Crawling (03:29) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 02.Faint (02:42) - it's now the single version 03.Numb/Encore [Explicit] (03:26) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 04.Papercut (03:06) - it's now the single version 05.Breaking The Habit (03:17) - it's now the single version 06.In The End (03:36) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 07.Bleed It Out [Explicit] (02:44) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 08.Somewhere I Belong (03:34) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 09.Waiting For The End (03:51) - fixed with 2010 version - additionally it contains small fade out at the end, right before the transition to Blackout, after the fade out the rest of the track (400-500 milliseconds) was cut - new quality: 24-bit/44.1kHz So this will be the first version of the 2010 version of the song not having transition to Blackout, which is currently exclusive to this new Papercuts digital album. 10.Castle Of Glass (03:25) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 11.One More Light (04:15) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 12.Burn It Down (03:50) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 13.What I’ve Done (03:27) - really weird edit, small portion of the SOTD ending was added to WID intro and fade in - it contains almost 1 sec of silence at beginning Maybe they didn't have the single version in Hi-Res and that's why they did it this way? 14.QWERTY (03:21) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 15.One Step Closer (02:35) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version 16.New Divide (04:29) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 17.Leave Out All the Rest (03:19) - the transition to BIO was removed. 18.Lost (03:16) - no changes comparing the previous digital version 19.Numb (03:06) - album version, no changes comparing the previous digital version

Now they have Justin Smith as a masterer. All of those bonus tracks were registered a lot later than the standard editions. It means that the idea of adding the bonus tracks to some releases has to come after they did remastering for ATS, Meteora, HT, MTM. You can see that all of those bonus tracks were registered at the same time, the credits of POA (Crystal Method Remix) mentions Brian Gardner as mastering credits, which probably means that all above tracks were mastered in the same mastering session with Brian Gardner, so i decided to add Brian to mastering credits to all above. So that will be all. As always I did tons of little changes but I think I mentioned all the bigger changes. If I will notice that I forgot about something I will add it to this post. As for the Qobuz in Japan country - all pages with releases redirect me to qobuz.com/jp-ja/closed I'm not sure if maybe that's because Qobuz detects that I'm not in Japan and redirect the page with the album. If someone from Japan can confirm that, let me know. Also I have a question regarding the LPTV season which was available on iTunes. The season was available on iTunes as TV Show in the TV Shows section. I was thinking about the idea to create the TV Shows section on the site and move all LPTVs there. I can also add some others seasons. What do you think? Also, is "TV Shows" name would also work for other seasons that was not available on iTunes? // Some other things that I noticed: Deezer: few days ago when I have checked it, there was a complete mess, I have seen releases from all countries like TC NoBrain remix, Powerless single, 1-track Iridescent, MTM the iTunes version, MTM version that was available for pre-order bundle in 2007 and some of them are still available the MTM (iTunes) and this MTM version which base on the cover and barcodes on Deezer both should be censored version but they contains the explicit version of the tracks, the HT bonus version with interactive booklet which was not available anywhere since years and suddenly appeared on Deezer? I'm suppossed to make this bonus edition with booklet as available for streaming only on Deezer but I'm holding with adding any of those since you can see it's totally mess on this streaming service I think some of those releases appeared on Deezer by mistake and they will soon be removed. Amazon Music: I have seen that one of the Live In Texas album with LIT cover has 12 songs but each of them were the ones from the Meteora 20 Edition and the transitions were out of place. I don't see this version anymore, don't remember in which country it was. mora.jp: since like a month this store started to sell music in standard CD quality 16-bit lossless. This includes releases: https://mora.jp/package/43000008/093624994329_L/ https://mora.jp/package/43000008/093624928966_L/ https://mora.jp/package/43000008/093624449362_L/ Qobuz: might be the best currently store if you want to buy any videos in lossless version. This is based on two videos I purchased, but I would consider this store as one of potentionally selling videos in the lossless (uncompressed) version. Transitions in the Meteora album in both standard and bonus edition were fixed. SOTD and WID in some MTM editions still has some transitions problems, SOTD has fade out WID has fade in. Also, I have noticed that the 2012 masters versions of the album starting to appear in other streaming services/stores.
  4. Also, this will be released on June too with some LP music.
  5. Added to the first post: standard black vinyl, tracklists for all 3 vinyls and link where you can pre-order them.
  6. Any chances they can go with "Linkin Park with 'New singer name'" as name? Just like "Stone Temple Pilots with Chester".
  7. No THP tracks on on the album but they included a THP sticker on the Japanese version of the CD. https://i.imgur.com/hpHBRLb.jpeg
  8. FF and QWERTY both are singles of the Papercuts album.
  9. Added to main post the info about the FF/QWERTY LPU Vinyl.
  10. The video is awesome! Could they release it on iTunes?

  12. QWERTY release week!
  13. I finally ended comparing the songs versions from Papercuts CD with original album versions and single versions. Here are the results: 01.Crawling (03:29) - album version 02.Faint (02:42) - album version 03.Numb/Encore [Explicit] (03:26) - album version, but: the 2004 is louder, the volume of this one was a bit decreased - additionally it has +1 second of silence at the end - 2024 quality, maybe a small differences in mastering/EQ 04.Papercut (03:04) - album version, despite not having 1 second of silence at the start like the original version from the 2000 CD has - very small portion of the end was cut and added to beginning of BTH to create transition 05.Breaking The Habit (03:14) - contains small transition from Papercut - album version, it missing 2 seconds with transition to FTI at the end, because it was fade out 06.In The End (03:35) - album version - -1 second of silence at the end 07.Bleed It Out [Explicit] (02:44) - album version 08.Somewhere I Belong (03:34) - album version 09.Waiting For The End (03:51) - album version, with fade out at the end just before the blackout transition - 2012 master with different effects on vocals and guitar loop at the beginning (check the updated post here) 10.Castle Of Glass (03:24) - album version with just almost 1 second of silence cut at the end 11.One More Light (04:11) - album version, the last 3 seconds of it were cut and added to BID to create transition 12.Burn It Down (03:49) - album version, almost 1 second a the end was cut from it - contains small transition from OML 13.What I’ve Done (03:25) - album version - it has an issue with intro fade in, the same like WID in some digital versions of MTM 14.QWERTY (03:21) - it's 2008 version, which means no transition from Annoncement Service Public and extra 2 seconds of silence at the end - on the Papercuts CD the 2 seconds of silence at the end were cut - quality upgrade 15.One Step Closer (02:35) - album version 16.New Divide (04:29) - the same as 2009 version, 2 seconds of silence at the end were cut - 2024 quality, maybe a small differences in mastering/EQ 17.Leave Out All the Rest (03:20) - can't really say if it's single version or edited album version, I guess it's edited album version - it contains 1 second of silence more at the end comparing to the single version 18.Lost (03:16) - album version, not 2002 mix, 2 seconds less of silence at the end - 1 second of ending of it was cut and added to Numb to create transition 19.Numb (03:06) - album version - it contains small transition from Lost
  14. So 2012 version of WFTE has: - different effects on vocals and guitar loop at the beginning 2012 Iridescent: - a bit different effects on Mike's vocals at the beginning (2012 version vs 2010 version)
  15. Well, that's not true. You see they are using a Hi-Res 24-bit as a source quality for the vinyls, the same source usually goes for digital platforms that sells/stream music in Hi-Res quality. And HTEP disc is one of those included on HT20 that is available on HDtracks in Hi-Res quality, there are very noticeable differences in mastering and both both gentleman's are mentioned in the credits for songs from HTEP. So yeah at least they are releasing the same files digitally.
  16. Here are the credits of the HTEP vinyl from HT20: credits says: Mastered by Pat Kraus Mastered for a vinyl by Brian Gardner Can someone explain to me what's the difference between the vinyl and CD mastering. Is it mean (based on the credits) that they took the original HTEP copy mastered by Pat Kraus to Brian and he use it to make the mastering for a vinyl, is that right? Because if Brian worked on the complete unmastered version then what's the point to include the Pat's credits if only one person mastered the whole thing?
  17. Since we know it now, let's call this alternate version of WFTE the 2012 version. I was comparing the Papercuts version with the album versions from the 2010 CD I bought because I wanted to check if there is no transition to Blackout at all or it can be still noticeable and then I have noticed that the "got" at the end sounds different so I decided to compare and check the whole track. All vinyls of ATS were released in 2010, there is no any single one released in the later years, based on the info from lpcatalog, so I'm assuming there's no vinyl edition containg 2012 version of WFTE. If it's about the digital version, there is a standard version available on spotify here and bonus version here, containing the 2010 originals, both are also available on qobuz and some other digital stores. I think currently iTunes and Apple Music are the only two not having the 2010 versions anymore. Also, I compared the WFTE music videos, the one that I bought from iTunes few years ago. The SD quality and full HD (that contains audio in Apple Digital Master quality) both has the original 2010 version of the song but the new 4K upgrade which is on YouTube and in some other digital platforms contains the 2012 version.
  18. Confirmed: this version of WFTE was delivered to digital stores in 2012 that became Mastered for iTunes/ 24-bit versions in some digital stores. So it's the same time of when the wrong versions of SOTD, NRL was delivered.
  19. So Waiting For The End on "Papercuts" CD contains no transition to Blackout which is happening for the first time, since the WFTE Promo CD single or the official CD single released in stores had the album version of the song. Besides the lacks transition to Blackout, the song also contains different effects used on vocals. A different delay effect on the Papercuts version can be heard when you compare below two fragments: WFTE-album version WFTE-papercuts/2012 album version Another example with even more noticable difference is at the end when Chester sings the last word "got!": WFTE-album version WFTE-papercuts/2012 album version When you compare those fragments you will be able to hear those differences. Also, there might be something else which I'm not sure about it. I exctracted the acapella from both versions and I want you to compare and let know what you think about it. Here are two fragments of the acapella: WFTE (acapella)-album version WFTE (acapella)-papercuts/2012 album version When Chester sings "Flying at the speed of light" - it's about the last word "light" it sounds a bit different and the question is, is it sounds different because of the different effects on the vocals or it's different vocal take? EDIT: sometimes try to listen to those fragments in the different order, it can help to notice better the differences. EDIT2: the guitar loop at the beginning also has different effects: WFTE-2010-album version WFTE-papercuts/2012-album version
  20. Thanks for the info! OML has 4:12 not 4:15 is it also because of few seconds of silence removed at the end?
  21. Thank You! So Lost was also edited sinc it has 3:16, not 3:19. The ending of it was probably shortened. I wold like to compare it and the rest of the tracks.
  22. Can you post the length of all tracks from the CD?
  23. The same issues are in some editions of MTM WID is fade in, while SOTD has fade out at the end. That's what i thought. Is there anywhere in the credits an info like "mastered for a vinyl" for example in the credits for LOATR? Also, is Lost, BTH and OML have different lengths? Those are what they should have it: Breaking The Habit (03:16) One More Light (04:15) Lost (03:19)
  24. I recently checked out the main and the bonus editions on spotify and some other platforms and the label already fixed that. Yes on spotify and some other platforms there are 3 different versions of the WID single each one with different tracklist but since 2012 none of them currently have the single version of the song.
