2010. This could have gone in ATS perfectly, especially the whole When They Come For Me/I'll Be Gone (both fifth track on each album) would fit better with the story/concept album. Structure gives it a unique new style that they haven't used very often. Hoping it continues on LPU XIII and LP 6. As for my opinion, I love it. IBG was one of my favorites when LT came out, though it has become a little stale at this point. I can imagine this being performed as a major theatrical production that we will never get. If this had Primo's instrumental with less electronic drums and kept the melody but with IBG's lyrics and regular drums, it could work on both ATS AND LT. And I can tell what Primo was and became kind of was LP's baby since they began on it. Going from this in 2010 (or even earlier) and then reworking it to a whole new song over a whole year, bringing in Owen Pallet, and on top of that 2 remixes (one of which having Mike's rap part) in RECHARGED. Ironically enough, IBG gets no live time.

I wouldn't call them shit because they are awesome when played ON TOUR. The festival sets should always be tweaked to what the environments are for it. Since Download is full of a lot of rock acts, it makes sense that they are going to play HT in full with he most hesvy tracks. Not that there's anything wrong with the aformentioned tracks, they would be fine at a show with hardcore fans, not one full of people who may be only going to the show for one specific band, but they see LP causethey know a few old hits.

Not that it's too important for the next six months, but the date for this show on the sidebar says 2004 instead of 2014. Also if any mods see this, you guys should set up a megathread for setlist predictions before this one crashes the site lol

It's in June, and we should be expecting the 6th album to be out by then (depending which side of the argument you are in the other forums), so I'd say it will be part fanservice (HT entirety) and testing the water with a new set, because they will have new singles or the entire album out by then. I'm sure even then it will only be a sample set, doubting HT will be played fully for many other shows, but the 2014/2015 tour should have an expanded version of that set, minus the HT revived songs. But who knows, maybe they'll get such a great response from some that they may decide to keep some old songs. All we know for now is the show in January and June will hold something new for everyone!

I know they won't really keep up with the 18 month album hopes, but Recharged had enough new content to give them a reasonable delay. Hope it comes out around winter!

I hope if they do perform, the whole band will be on stage this time for live guitars/drums/backing vocals. But if Steve's other remix is another Burn It Down remix, so help me God...

Any word on when LPU13 comes out? Wasn't LPU12 out this time last year?

It was, but I am still hoping for an early release. Maybe we can get a single (besides anything from Recharged) out by year's end?

Twitter confirmed that Joe said the next album will be out in 2014, which was already assumed, but here's hoping for an early-2014 release (like January 2nd, no later)

Haven't listened yet, but the songs seem short for what I've heard on Out of Time and Black Heart. They could have had a 4 or 5 minute song on there or an interlude. STP's first album had two interludes and an 8 minute one at least

Holy Tinfoil that IS a lot! Now I'm wondering if the 4/5 songs with Steve Aoki will be new ones or just the Aoki remixes of LT or some of both. Those would probably be the only "new" songs other than ALTNC. The songs with other artists will probably all be remixes. Still super pumped though

If they have a special setlist tonight, I'd be happy if they just change some placement and throw in some songs that weren't performed on this tour. But if they brought out something new that would be great, it's just that it would be the first time and possibly not a great performance, and it would be a pretty similar set regardless. I'd like to see an altered set with a throwback, maybe another addition to BIO

That would be crazy awesome, but they would have to do the shows separate from each other if Chester sings for both, maybe even separate days. If Scott comes back or there are other temp singers it would work out even better, ir Chester could just do 8 or so songs of a bigger setlist with the other singer(s). OR Have both bands play together on one stage.

Something tells me that since Chester could be having a stint with Stone Temple Pilots while they are making a new LP album and Chester is helping to make new STP songs, there could be a few hard rock/grunge inspired songs on the 6th album.

Oh my God, I just said the other day "When are Stone Temple Pilots gonna make a new album?" Then yesterday I found out Scott is gone (for now). But waking up today to find Chester singing there with a new song blew my freaking mind! I think Chester will be a great temp singer, but Scott should still be there.
