  1. Thanks guys, I wasn't planning on doing every single example in one sitting, I just wanted to give an idea of what I'm looking for. Those have been added now, and I'll clean things up and put the entries in chronological order later.
  2. This thread is for anyone to contribute lines of lyrics that are similar throughout Linkin Park's discography. Alone Attack Betray Black Blood Bone(s) Breaking Day(s) Death (Dead/Dying) Digging Empty End Eyes Face Fear Fire Fuck Game Grave(s) Gone Head Heart Hurt Letting Go Lies Life Love Mind Mistakes Night (Nightly/Tonight) Nothing Not Caring Pain Pay/Paid/Repaid Pride Promise Rain / Raindrops Real / Reality Rhythm Roads Running Scars Shadow Sight (Looking/Seeing) Snake(s) Soldiers Strength Sun Swim / Swimming Today Tomorrow Thousand Truth Waiting Waking Wall(s) War Water Yesterday Miscellaneous Connections
  3. A song like In Between would be a special one here since it's really just like 3 or 4 of the band members. Maybe a song with more electronic drums than real ones would be alright. Castle of Glass: Chester on Drums Mike on Electronics Brad on Vocals (Chester's part) Phoenix on Rhythm and Vocals (Mike's part) Rob on Acoustic Guitar Mr. Hahn on Bass Not too much of a stretch, all of these parts aren't relatively complicated
  4. The challenge is to have each of the 6 guys play a different part on a song, but they would have to be able to successfully play it. Whatever one guy does live, the other has to do (for example, Mike plays rhythm and raps on Faint - someone would have to do both of those as well). And yes, that means that even Rob and Joe have to do different instruments.
  5. Are we gonna do Recharged next? I don't remember there being one before, but that also means that I'd have to go through the torture of listening to half of that album for a second time.
  6. These are cool, LP needs to keep their recordings like this.
  7. Just emailed mine, sorry if there still any wet marks from the tears that haven't dried yet. And I just now noticed the presale code "Rebellion" that is on my ticket.
  8. Scanned my tickets, I'll email them later
  9. Pit was 100 dollars for my show in the winter tour, and I think that was the most expensive without a Meet and Greet package
  10. I don't know about I'll Be Gone on ATS, but Primo for sure. It was worked on during the ATS sessions, along with Tinfoil (which became Powerless) and some Mall songs
  11. This thread is for anyone's ideas for what songs could be a part of a different album. Whether or not a song had to be reworked to fit that album's theme is your choice, but here it is to make any comparisons between the musical styles. For starters, New Divide could easily go with the majority of Living Things. It is very similar to the first half of the album, particularly I'll Be Gone. What are your ideas?
  12. Dirt From You. Mike recorded the part of the cop for 99 problems so I think that deserves the win
  13. Chester's recovery, what he has been doing in the downtime since they should be touring at the moment, Horizons, STP album?, collaborations
  14. This is cool, I'll have to listen after class
  15. This would be a nice way for me to finally part with my Pittsburgh tickets. They are in my desk and I cry a little bit every time I open the drawer.
  16. What they could have played at Pittsburgh ACT 1 Mashup Intro Guilty All The Same (radio edit intro w/ alternate bridge verse) The Summoning > One Step Closer (Reanimated Bridge with Extended Outro) From The Inside Wastelands ACT 2 Tinfoil / Faint (Ext. Outro) (with Austin Carlisle) All for Nothing (with Tim McIlrath) Until it Breaks / Waiting for the End (Wall of Noise Outro) Castle Of Glass (Experience Version with Speech Samples) ACT 3 Until It's Gone Mashup Intro Until It's Gone (Outro transition) A Light that Never Comes Lost in the Echo ACT 4 A Place For My Head (2012 Intro/Outro) (with Austin Carlisle) Mike Solo Medley (with High Voltage) Dirt Off Your Shoulder/ Lying From You / Papercut Medley In The End A Line In The Sand ACT 5 / Encore AMBO Intro > What I've Done (Ext. Guitar Solo) (piano outro transition) Final Masquerade (with Drawbar piano intro) Bleed It Out (Reading My Eyes Bridge with Drum Solo/Catalyst Refrain) Not as many songs but the extensions on each adds to time, it was the first setlist that I made and here are some new things that the band could try, namely a medley of UIB / WFTE and AFN with Tim.
  17. I've noticed that Chester has been resting his voice when he can on difficult parts. Like on Numb the crowd does half of the bridge and part of the last chorus, Faint with Austin, parts of BIO, and of course ITE will always have a bridge for the audience. http://instagram.com/p/yXbQX6OVcr/?modal=true Joe is in the studio today, which must mean something if even he is there. Mike had a post on IG saying that he was writing something right before the tour, so now they can use this next month to get a jump start on the writing or recording. It looks like they are doing this.
  18. That's fuckin' rock and roll!!! But seriously, that looks serious and painful. Looks like everything is going well for Chaz
  19. Great news! I don't know if amything ever came of the other songs that they had worked on, I had never heard about anything besides Horizons until now.
  20. This information can go in the Song Info page, but do we do LPU songs there?
  21. Hey thanks, there aren't going to be more of these? He only covered three of the songs, for a "Track-by-track" video that isn't doing much.
