  1. The AMBO intro to What I've Done is the same intro they've been using for that song for the last year and a half guys, that's what it's always been called.
  2. Good riddance to Don't Stay, lol. That song got stale live about 3 years ago.
  3. I'm more anxious for this show than the last one, mainly to see if they're going to be rotating setlists at all or just using one for this tour.
  4. No, I'm not (although that one was good too). Download the audio, go to the time in the song that I just said it was at. Not hard to understand.
  5. Based on the audio from LP-TR, I pretty much completely re-wrote the Istanbul show notes, feel free to edit/add/delete whatever: Source 1: Video - AUD (HDD HD: Sony HDR-SR10 (1080i)) Location: Varies Taper: LPUtkan Time: 80 mins Format: .m2t / ? Comments: Full show. After 45 minutes, the taper changed his position and moved into the upper sections. Audio released in 192kbps mp3 format on LP-TR.com 2 days after the show. Show Notes: - Linkin Park took the stage 10 minutes late; this possibly leads us to believe a few songs were dropped from the setlist. - This was the first time that 'Session' was played since March 25th, 2003. It was the same "short version" of the song that was used as the show intro in 2003, about half the length of the full song. -'Given Up' featured the same short extended outro from 2008. Brad seemed to come in a little early during the intro (there weren't as many claps before the guitar came in as usual), but it didn't affect the song. -'From the Inside' had the usual extended guitar feedback intro. Joe also messed up and played one of the verse samples during the break before the last chorus. -'No More Sorrow' featured the long intro. -'Points of Authority' featured a new intro. The music from the new intro was also used during the second verse of the song, in a similar manner to what was done throughout 2007-2008. A slightly modified version of the late 2008 intro was also used. The first verse of 'Petrified' was over the intro, and 'There They Go' was over the outro. - Mike messed up the lyrics during the last chorus of 'Points of Authority.' -'What I've Done' featured the AMBO intro. -'Numb' featured the typical piano outro/transition that Mike has been playing since 2007. -'Breaking the Habit' featured a piano intro and the acapella outro. The first part of the intro was new, the second part was the same piano piece that Mike used for the intro starting in the middle of Projekt Revolution 2007. The intro went straight into the song though, instead of Chester singing the first verse over the piano part before the song began like usual. Mike also had some problems with his keyboard during the intro, as some of the notes had a strange warbly sound to them. - Mike rapped the first verse of 'Hands Held High' over the Reanimated intro to 'Crawling'. -'Bleed it Out' featured a new drum solo intro from Rob, and a modified version of the extended outro. Instead of playing through the normal extended outro, stopping, and then playing the ending again in the "slow-fast" manner like they did in 2007-2008, they only played the outro once and sped up near the end of it, and ended the song there. The bridge was also not extended at all. -'New Divide' featured the same short extended intro (the one droning synth note) that was used at the Transformers 2 premiere show. -'Faint' featured the 2007-2008 extended outro. -'One Step Closer' featured the 2008 extended outro. - Mike put a Turkish flag on his keyboard during the show. Chester wrapped it around himself while he sang 'Crawling', and then threw it in the crowd. Other Notes: - First Linkin Park show in Turkey. - Thanks to 'omer' and everyone else that helped out with setlist updates.
  6. 2:05 into Faint - where the hell did that scream come from? I haven't heard Chester scream with that much power in almost 5 years.
  7. Mark, any festival can "announce" that a band is playing. That doesn't make it official, they can just be scamming people to try and sell more tickets. It's just like what happened with the China show that was "announced" for April of '07 and a bunch of other fake shows. However, Adam posted in the thread and said LPU would have some news about this festival, so I dunno what the hell is going on.
  8. Cool, sounds like Rob really changed up his drum solo, he kind of stuck to the same structure/fills for most of the MTM touring cycle. Also, I think that's the first time in quite a while that the bridge hasn't been extended whatsoever. The outro was also a bit different than what was reported, it wasn't technically the same "slow>fast" outro that was used previously, they just sped up during the "normal" extended outro riff and ended the song there, as opposed to playing the regular outro, then starting the "slow>fast" outro afterwards.
  9. Xefusioner from LPRessurection has had them for like 2 years and refuses to share them.
  10. Cue endless amount of bitching. I'm out for the day, let me know when people learn how to be intelligent and reasonable.
  11. I'd love it if you could provide a source where they ever claimed that they would.
  12. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?s=&s...ost&p=18548 As usual, I completely called this like 4 months ago. You guys really need to learn to not get your hopes up. 17 songs is more than reasonable for a band that hasn't toured in over 10 months.
  13. Keep in mind guys, it was never confirmed that DBS would be playing all of the shows on this tour.
  14. The Justin TV stream was showing live broadcasts of the other bands earlier in the day, and had LP listed in its program lineup...I don't know what else would make it more convincing than that? Anyway, the show's supposed to start in about 5 minutes, my fingers are crossed.
  15. Well hopefully somebody will DVR/TiVo that shit.
  16. Just going by past history with the Rock in Rio 08 show, plus the fact that there are TV station logos on the video, I'm guessing this same broadcast is on TV (or going to be on TV) SOMEWHERE. We just need to figure out where/when if we want high quality video.
  17. Firefox uses more system memory than IE does, so if there's any difference, it will be worse on Firefox (more laggy).
  18. Crappy quality, laggy video, but better than nothing. This is also the same site that did the webcast of Rock in Rio last year.
  19. They've played songs from all 3 albums live before they were released...?
  20. Awesome, now I'm excited.
  21. How long is this program? If it's only a half hour I wouldn't anticipate anything other than the 2 songs that were shown on Kimmel (since it's split between LP and The Kooks), but if it's a full hour, we might get the whole thing.
  22. Acoustic-specific songs, no. I've always felt that it's a lot easier to strip a song down to an acoustic format and make it sound good than it is to take an acoustic song and make it rock. There isn't a lot you can do with an acoustic song other than play it straightforward the way it was recorded. I wouldn't mind them doing more songs that incorporate acoustic guitar like TLTGYA did, though. That being said, I really want them to do an MTV Unplugged set at some point. Especially after the release of MTM, they now have a pretty large number of songs that would work in an acoustic format. As for what I think they should do to their songs live, I really wish they would bring back the Reanimation bridge to One Step Closer. Combine that with the extended intro/outro and it'd make the ultimate live version of that song. I think they should move Rob's drum solo from Bleed it Out to another song, although I'm not sure which one would work. They should also do some more experimenting with making songs blend into each other like they did with Figure.09/From the Inside and Breaking the Habit/Numb on PR04. They had a nice one going with the piano transition from Numb to Pushing Me Away in the early part of 07, but Mike started slowing it down over time and it never worked quite as well after that. One Step Closer into From the Inside at Milton Keynes was cool, they should do that one again.
  23. That, along with nearly all of the live intros/outros LP uses, are original pieces of music that they record for that specific purpose. The only exceptions are Gacela of the Dark Death by Joan Baez being used as part of the intro in June-September of '04, Dead Skin Mask by Slayer being used as part of the intro on the Summer Sanitarium shows, and the Godzilla theme song being used as part of the intro at Summer Sonic '06.
  24. Mark keeps in touch with him.
  25. I'd almost guarantee that some SBD material from Sonisphere will wind up on the USB wristband, and it's possible that some material from non-DSP shows will wind up on the LPU9 CD. We're going to get recordings of all the different setlists now anyway, that's all I really cared about. Also, the announcement says you get a "collectible CD to burn the show to," does that mean there will be artwork printed on the discs now? That'd be pretty cool.
