Fixed that for you I'm not an adult, and I pretty much agree with them. Today kids/teens are just looking what is cool. And they try to be as cool as possible. So they search popular music on YT, that's what is their meaning of being "cool". Do you remember Gangnam Style, no a teen will say it's still cool, because it's not mainstream anymore. Another funny thing is that they fake what they don't know, they call someone who isn't cool/mainstream for Hipster, even it's definition isn't "not mainstream". Of course, it don't regards every teen, but a very big part. Nobody calls mainstream music for shit because it is classified as pop or rap, it's because it sounds bad, you can hear lack of emotion and effort put into it. Even Mike mentioned how small amount effort many pop artist put into making music. Again, of course it doesn't regard all pop artists, A couple of years ago, there was bigger variety of music styles in mainstream than it's today. Wait, is any staff member reading this? I didn't see any of those facts to be added. The only fact that seems to be added recently was a shitty fact about Brad not being very active in making guitar tracks for ATS and LT, and that changed when making THP. Is that serious? Everybody knows that.

I forgot to say: They said that songs lose emotion after comprasion or something like that. But in my opinion emotion stays (not entirely, but still) independently from quality. Even if emotions would be dependent of quality, then only the strongest emotions would be shown in bad quality. So then it would mean that: when song is judged emotionally, then it should be judged in bad quality. I felt in love to LP when I still used shitty wireless headphones.

They showed some footage of Rob we didn't see before. I would say it's not that much about the quality of music you listen to, it's more about equipment you use to listen to it. You can feel a big difference even on a 64kb/s track. I recommend Koss Porta Pro headphones, they are the only good quality headphones that are cheap. And the soundcard in your computer or phone should be good too. The quality of the file it's self is necessary mostly for intesive listening to a track. I downloaded THP in 320kb/s a few days fter it leaked, and then I got THP for my birthday a few days ago. And I must say, the difference is big. On the original I could easily hear the tamburinos attached to snare in Mark The Graves, and the whole album sounded better. So I think they are partly right EDIT: I just listened to my THP, and just after it ended, I listened to ALITS on YT, and I must admit, that I know what they meant. YT quality sound like a stinky shit compared to original quality.

Yes I understeand, but LT had kind of goal too. LT goal was to make kind of blend of what they did at the time (electronics like ATS) and what they did in the past (energy like in HT), in a modern style (folk/pop). Most of LP albums had a goal. But all their goals came naturally. I forgot they wrote when they was on tour. I think that since they have a lot of experience in writing music, they had guests, they did 2 instrumentals (we already know that Drawbar took one day to make), some of THP parts was improvised, so it took less time.

I think all LP albums came naturally, Mike said that when making THP, they was very hyped to do the album. Brad got his teenage desire to play guitar. Every one enjoyed the idea. That Mike was pissed off on the rock state today, was just an addition, he said he already noticed it some years ago. The timed used on LT wasn't that much different, it might be even shorter, just look how much less LP toured in 2013 than in 2011.
