Accept that the band NEEDS a singer with a powerful voice who can sing their hits if someone else join the band people must not compare him to Chester that would be stupid let the guy make his own history with the band it will be a new chapter.

You and I know that LP won't survive without playing their singles and Mike can't sing them... yeah they can make a new album and play bsides, HARDCORE fan favorites and people like us will have a blast but we are a minority. People would get mad if they don't hear Faint, One Step Closer, Bleed It Out, Crawling, etc. Accept it.

They totally were themselves, you might think that the gay thing from Ken was awkward but dont forget that this is a show, pretty sure that part was scripted but still every part of the episode felt way natural and extremely funny even with some serious moments. I love Linkin Park!

Soul, what a wonderful post.. thaks dude! those are my picks for Hayley... definitely LOATR album version is my favorite option... that big chorus would sound great with Hayley's voice! It wouldn't hurt anyone to have the biggest female rock singer of our era at the show of the best singer of our generation... also she has been very vocal against suicide.. pretty sure that she connected with Mike. Powerless: that song will never get a debut in any form, don't worry.

After watching some recent videos of him peforming, he's actually a pretty solid live singer... whoever takes Chester's mic will be judged so badly... (belowempty 2.0... coming soon)

I agree but he would be great for the Japan shows only, his band is already big he wouldn't give up BTH for LP.

My theory is that someone that will perform with them at the tribute show will stick with the band for the rest of the year... my guess: OLY SYKES! LP is his favorite band, he loves Chester and it would be an honor for him to fill in, also he's available for the rest of the year, his band is in a break. Then next year they'll decide if they can do it as a 5 piece or get a new singer.

To me it looks like he got invited to attend not to perform.

The guest list is insane, we don't know anything about what's happening behind the scenes.. What if Chester's friend haven't called or rejected the offer? I extremely disagree w you the lisy of guests is epic and it will increase.. I would love to see Hayley Williams (very vocal about suicide) Corey, Jacoby, Shuck, Dave Navarro, Metallica.. Which songs do you think the band will perform as a 5 piece? My guess: Castle of Glass, Catalyst.

Coret Taylor will play with S. Sour the 28th at a place very close to Mexico City it's kinda possible that he can make it to the tribute show.

As Ryan Shuck said "we'll leave the LP stuff to them" so this is LPs tribute, I don't see the rock community doing a huge tribute for Chester. Be thankful.
