  1. Saw the commercial a while ago, was surprised they used such an unknown song but hey, it's LP.
  2. Was Megatron really ever recorded? I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of New Divide demos, but Megatron specifically, does that exist? Also, Blackout demo, YES, with the acid rain and scat lyrics
  3. I'm positive we're going to get the Lost In The Echo debut from the setlist snippet we've seen from Set A. I think it's ready to be played I could also see In My Remains, Powerless, or I'll Be Gone, ya never know!
  4. New territory, not bad! Congrats to South Africa
  5. APFMH acoustic= YES, YES, YES, YES, YES WANT WANT WANT Anyways, cool episode, glad to see the band can still have some funny shenanigans after being together for so long, you gotta imagine being in a big time band as a marriage with like 3-7 people, you gotta work real hard at it, just like that car seat Can't wait for part 2!
  6. They can't drop Given Up, it's one of their most popular "new era" singles. I reckon it'll be APFMH, Brad doesn't like the song, and for some reason I get the feeling Joe doesn't either. If it were my vote I'd pick Runaway, I was surprised enough that it made a reappearance since Chester said he hated it and they permanently dropped it. Plus it just doesn't fit their sound anymore, also to the post above regarding the medley, that medley is the shit. I think it breathes new life into the songs, I hate SOTD with a fervor but the piano version with the Iridescent drums kicks ass!
  7. That's pretty reasonable for it to lose to an actual hard rock / nu metal track, considering In The End has rapped verses. LP has made it to the top, as Busta Rhymes once rightfully predicted!
  8. Definitely not their best, chill song live, but not my personal fav or IMO their best. WTFE deserves to be there, that song is so jammin! Course APFMH <3
  9. Nice one, I actually still have yet to listen to Maroon 5's new album. Might do it tonight, well done LP!
  10. Feels like so long since we've gotten a single with screaming in it... I approve!
  11. I don't know if LP is ready for a full orchestra, idk if they're up to that point in their careers yet. But, an unplugged kinda thing would be awesome!! As far as an orchestra here's my list of songs I'd wanna hear. Breaking the Habit Little Things Castle of Glass From The Inside With You
  12. Crowd's just standing there on LGM. But I love the acoustics at this place!! The guitar on New Divide is really amplified
  13. The bass is very audible on Faint from the bridge-onwards.
  14. New Divide messed up again and no APFMH this time? Seriously though, hasn't this happened like several times on this particular song? Or were the other times just Mike or Joe playing the wrong notes?
  15. I love the whole album honestly, and each time I listen I pretty much have a new favorite, so this isn't permanent. For example, I love In My Remains, but right now I'm more into Burn It Down so that wins for now. Again, just cause I put something in the worst doesn't mean I hate it, just means it's my least fav to listen to ATM. Best- Castle of Glass, I'll Be Gone, Lost In The Echo Good- Skin To Bone, Burn It Down, Lies Greed Misery, Until It Breaks Average- In My Remains, Powerless, Victimized Worst- Roads Untraveled, Tinfoil
  16. That's like asking for POA and WTCFM on the last tour lawl. I don't believe they'll drop With You or Runaway, or maybe just keep one. They just started playing them again, I think if Mike had the chance With You would remain in the set.
  17. If they drop ANY HT song it should be Runaway. That one's a little bit TOO teen angst if you ask me. I'm surprised they played it at all since Chester said they were done with it.
  18. If you listen to Korn, you can basically consider this the Untouchables of their career, whereas A Thousand Suns was Issues. They'll definitely be back with something along the ATS lines at some point in their careers. If they stick around long enough.
  19. You have to understand that the name Linkin Park is automatically associated with rap verses, anthemic choruses, screaming and electronics. Back in the HT days, everyone went crazy for nu-metal and their sound at the time just happened to fit the nu-metal description. This time around, the band took out the nu-metal factor, and blended their signature Hybrid Theory elements with the bombastic craziness of A Thousand Suns. It could have been done in a better way perhaps, some places needed tightening and cleaning, but, all they were trying to do was keep their experimentation they began in M2M while pleasing the fans who complained they were ditching the "Linkin Park" sound. In a way, they were conforming without actually conforming. That's what's great about them, they know how to experiment on the foundation they built as well as on a blank piece of paper. I think that's what Lost In The Echo is about too.
  20. My current playlist has A.06 right before Victimized and And One after it. They could play the first two in full, and then finish off And One beginning with the "breaking apart of my heart to find release" segment, and ending with Mike's rap, although they never actually did that part live. A.06 / Victimized / And One
  21. I certainly hope so I love that one!! I always get a big Julien-K vibe when I hear this, it sounds very We're Here With You era Julien-K. Certainly won't complain if this is a single, even if it's one of the more pop rock songs on the record! It feels like it's gonna be difficult to pick singles for this record, cause almost of all of them are radio friendly songs. Choosing I'll Be Gone would probably be a What I've Done route which they've done like 4 times already. Lost In The Echo represents the older Linkin Park, and while the record does have elements of Hybrid Theory, I find it difficult to believe that it can be a major single. Castle of Glass is the Breaking The Habit of Living Things, one of my favorites on the record, and absolutely single potential. It'll be a risk, but it'll either be a major success or a flop. Powerless is already sort of a promo single for Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter, but if they need another Iridescent for their live shows, then Powerless is the way to go for a single. Just my 2 cents Oh and one more thing, I totally think they should have released Lies Greed Misery as a single, it's fun, catchy, killer rap section, and an overall party song!
  22. 1. Agreed, rough demo sounds more rock / metal, less electronic!!! 2. He recorded the heaviest Living Things song while he was sick? RESPECT CHESTER!!
