Steve Rosen just shared on his YouTube channel a previously unreleased audio interview with Mike Shinoda from 2018. Check it out!

We'd need to go through all their older Twitter and Facebook posts to make that list. We might still miss some because they removed all their old Instagram posts.

Today Rolling Stone published a very insightful article on the new Grey Daze album as well as Chester's final years. The band says the project was started in early 2017 when they picked 4 songs to recut and sent guitarist Cristin Davis into the studio to work on them. They were planning on sending the producer out on Linkin Park's North American Tour so Chester could track his vocals. Talinda's only request when Sean decided to continue the project after Chester passed away was that he kept his voice intact. Talinda says that giving the project her blessing was easy because she trusts Dowdell implicitly, and she knew what Grey Daze meant to Chester. “He wanted to do Grey Daze again because the music was awesome, he loved it back then, and he was excited to be able to create,” she says. “Doing it now that he had all this experience under his belt — he had accomplished so much and come so far since then — he was excited about it. I can hear him now. He’s like, ‘Fuck yeah!'” The album, now confirmed to be titled Amends, is coming out on April 10th. Confirmed songs are 'What's In The Eye', 'Sickness' (with Page Hamilton of Helmet), 'She Shines' (with Head of Korn), 'Soul Song' (with Chester's son Jaime), 'Morei Sky', 'Just Like Heroin (A Little Down)' and 'B12.' Some proceeds from sales of Amends will benefit Talinda's 320 Changes Direction and other portions of the proceeds have been allocated for Chester's kids. If the Grey Daze album gets a good response — and both Dowdell and Talinda, independently of each other, say that they hope Linkin Park fans will be open-minded enough to give the music a chance — Dowdell says there’s enough material for one or two additional Grey Daze releases. “Depending on how this is received — and so far, the music we have put out has been received quite well — I think fans will get a second record out of it,” he says. Read the full article here: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/chester-bennington-grey-daze-amends-album-945384/ 'Sickness,' the second single from the album, should be coming on February 5th according to a press release. Album artwork can be seen here.

List of unknown versions of LP songs

I didn't download the list, but judging by the name, it's probably this fake album: https://www.discogs.com/de/Linkin-Park-Project-Revolution-The-Remixes/release/4497158 I remember having it back in the day. -

Here's something cool: Howard Min, an LA-based photographer and film-maker, has shared on his Instagram three pictures from a photoshoot he did with Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn in 1998 at the LA River. "One of my first ever photoshoots was with @mrjoehahn and @m_shinoda of @linkinpark . Circa 1998." Replying to a follower, he stated, "i met mike shinonda a handful of times - he was a fun, chill guy. joe was a very good friend since the 7th grade :)" Back in 1998 the duo was performing with Xero / Xero 818. Joe worked for the Urban Network Magazine as Lee Cadena's assistant and Xero contributed with artwork and three original tracks for the magazine's Rapology CDs called 'Closing', 'Drop' and 'Fiends'. 'Drop' was credited solely to Mike and Joe under the names Kenji and Artofficial respectively. Mike worked with Styles Of Beyond by creating their original logo and artwork for the group's debut album for which he also produced a version of 'Marco Polo' that was eventually left out of the album. Mike can actually be heard laughing on SOB's exclusive track for Rapology 12, 'Drop'. That year Xero also had 'Rhinestone' featured on a Zomba! Music sampler which eventually found its way to the producers of The Crow: Stairway To Heaven. This was the first soundtrack appearance by the band! In December 1998, they played their final show with original vocalist Mark Wakefield. The following year Chester Bennington would join the group and they would change their name to Hybrid Theory, later Linkin Park.

Earlier today, Convolk, a rapper from Oakland, CA with a little over 60K followers on SoundCloud, announced through Twitter he is working with Linkin Park. A few hours later, the tweet was removed. Check a screenshot below, courtesy of Reddit user mennog9. There has been no confirmation from Linkin Park's camp at this time if they are actually working together. Let's keep in mind Mike and Brad have been working with other artists as songwriters and producers for the last couple years, so it's possible this is what's happening here. Mike has recently worked on "Fine" (solo single), "Grand Paradise (Mike Shinoda Mix)" by Foxing, "Clockwatch" by AmirSaysNothing and "Me" by Kitten. On Instagram, he said more tracks are on the way. Earlier this month, AmirSaysNothing announced a second collaboration would be released on February 23rd as part of his new album.

Xero Hunting Vol.2: The Search for "Rhinestone [The Crow Version]"

The footage was filmed for a web series called Lockout which you can watch in his YouTube channel. In the series there are clips of Esaul, Rhinestone and Slip as well as Joe doing scratches, an interview with the band, an interview with Jeff Blue where he plays a CD of Hybrid Theory demos and some footage of the band outside the building. All of that should account for the 2 hours of footage he claims to have. I think we never got confirmation of how many songs he filmed, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's just those three. -
What are they singing here?

Disturbed has released a music video for their new single 'Hold On To Memories' which takes fans down memory lane with photos and videos from the band's extensive career. They took the chance to pay tribute to some musicians who were part of their history and unfortunately are no longer among us such as Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul (Pantera) and The Rev (Avenged Sevenfold). There's some never seen before footage of Chester performing 'Walk' on stage with Disturbed at various shows on Ozzfest 2001.

There was a Kerrang! article from 2001 where they mentioned early versions of A Place For My Head and Forgotten being in the audition tape. LPAssociation had in their gallery scans of a special edition of Kerrang! with various articles they wrote about Linkin Park over 10 years (or was it 15?). This article was included. Not sure if it's still there.

https://lplive.net/forums/topic/11764-lpcatalog-exclusives-linkin-parkjay-z-mix/?do=findComment&comment=252923 He made other Linkin Park/Jay-Z mashups if you want to check them on his website. The links on the main post are still working in case you want to download LPCatalog's CD in FLAC. But it's likely mp3 sourced. -

http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Points_Of_Authority/99_Problems/One_Step_Closer#Background As for the In The End remix, its origin seems to be DJ Vice's MySpace page but I think it was never confirmed to be a Reanimation outtake/demo. Could be something he worked on by himself. -
Probably hundreds. It's a music sampler, so it's supposed to be out there. From the main post:

It was before. We actually got Mike's blessing at the time. Wel... it's their property.

Hi everyone, we have some fun updates about Xero we'd like to share. A Zomba Music sampler dating from 1998 has surfaced on Discogs. It's titled "New Music Sampler 1999" and includes a brand new version of 'Rhinestone' with Mark Wakefield on vocals. This is the same track that was featured in the series "The Crow: Stairway To Heaven" back in 1999, so the long search for that track is finally over. We do not own a copy of the CD, but good luck to anyone who can actually find it. The lyrics for this version are already available on Linkinpedia and we have updated our The Chronological Order Of The HT Demos thread. Unfortunately we are not able to post the song right now but with all due respect to Linkin Park and their wishes at this time to not leak any studio material, we are working on being able to share the track here with everyone. Meanwhile, here's something we think you all might enjoy: on February 27, 1998 a band known as Brendrin Daddy's played their first show ever and made sure to record just about everything on this special night. They shared the stage with a band that would later be known as Linkin Park! While not really intending to film part of this set, footage of Xero playing "Rhinestone" at Whisky starts at 02:03 and lasts for about 30 seconds: Show page This is the first known live footage of Xero we have seen online. We've recently restored some missing Grey Daze, Xero and Hybrid Theory pages back into our live guide and we are currently working on bringing back the photo galleries. Thanks to community member GingerLP we've also obtained a newspaper clipping of the band playing at Hollywood Athletic Club on October 10th. Show page here. Note that the band was announced as Xero 818. More information on that can be found on the Xero Linkinpedia page. Lestat, our pre-Linkin Park specialist, also obtained new clippings from Hybrid Theory and Grey Daze shows for which we didn't have exact dates yet. Check the pages for Grey Daze playing at the Coconut Teaszer here and Hybrid Theory playing at The Gig-Hollywood here. As always, we are looking into Linkin Park's live history and archiving as much as we can!
