  1. I believe....don't quote me on that, but I believe someone has a version of "Karma Killer" without Chester. Let me find this person again.

    A studio version?

    Sounds interesting.

  2. Bill Appleberry remixed Karma Killer for the single release, but the single was scrapped. That's what Declan told me, when I asked him about the different version of this song from the Cyclefly's MySpace player. I posted this info a few years ago and that's where the title "Bill Appleberry Remix" comes from. "Single Version" would be more accurate, though.

    Thanks!
  3. the Myspace/Single/Alternate version always titled as Bill Appleberry Remix, the preducer of the album is - Bill Appleberry, and this version not sounds like remix at all.

Bill Appleberry produced only "No Stress", "Crave", and "Drive".
  4. Are we missing a version of Karma Killer? Sorry I am not very familiar with the track. Are there multiple versions or mixes or something that are known?

Only 2 versions (2 different mixes) as far as I know. The album version and the MySpace version, which was posted here on LPLive as being "the version from the unreleased Karma Killer single".

We have alternative versions/mixes of "Walking Dead" and "It's Goin' Down" from promo CDs, so I think it's possible that the MySpace version is actually an early version of the song that was included on some promo CD.

  5. "Crave" was released in 2002, but there are 2 CDs from 2001 containing "Karma Killer":

    - Greetings From Santa Monica (compilation/sampler)

    - Tales From The Fishbowl (advance version of "Crave")

Is it possible that the MySpace version of "Karma Killer" (aka "Bill Appleberry Remix" or "single version") was released on one of these CDs?

  6. It was used for that entire Europe 2001 leg as far as I recall. Definitely multiple shows in the mid-2001 period.

    The entire "US-to-Europe Tour"?

*Edit* Noticed an error in the first post too. Dolla doesn't sample Funky Drummer by James Brown, it's actually Get It that does (it's where the "Get it!" voice comes from).

Thanks. I have no idea why it was under "Dolla". LOL
  7. 1) Do you know if the GNR intro was used exclusively throughout the Ozzfest?

    2) Do you have an example of the NIN/Gacela mashup thing so I know what to listen for (going to research that)?

    1) I'm not sure, but I think it was.

    Edit:

It's Goin' Down intro before One Step Closer at Rock Am Ring 2001.
