  1. Look here Mega Download. Stich and Filipelpt uploaded them.

I did, thanks! And the LA show I was talking about was only recorded by fans, not official audio. And I already owned the KROQ 2000 show, didn't know it sounded MUCH better than the crappy version from YT.

Look here Mega Download. Stich and Filipelpt uploaded them.

Also! I'm trying to find the DVD releases of Music for Relief 2005 show and the Roxy Theatre 2000 show.

  2. New rip I did...

    https://www54.zippyshare.com/v/fztbR2BG/file.html

Remastered the audio, split and tagged the files and this version is as close to 320kps as possible.

I downloaded some of the other versions here and had a look, some had low volume and then some were not actually 320kps when I had a look at them in a spectral analyser, just transcoded 128kps saved as 320s.

Hopefully this one should be all good for everyone now.

Fucking insane, thank you so much. If this only was mixed with the live footage, but still, it's a really great job.

  3. Bought a physical copy, I need to hear it a few more times but for sure I still really like the EP tracks and RFMS. At first I like a couple of the new ones that I didn't listened previously. MGK wasn't as bad as I thought, he had a solid verse.

  4. People tend to have a huge problem with expectations. They make their minds about what they wanna listen to or how the song "should be" by just reading the title, and then when it turns out to be different they say it's bad because they were expecting something else. That's not the artist's fault, it's all yours. We should just take the music as it is and appreciate what was made, instead of projecting our own wacky fantasies and hoping they are right.

That's the exact reason why musicians go on with their bands even after a fellow member quits or dies. The band name has a weight of its own, it carries a concept and it's easily recognizable. Also, it's a brand, and if you strengthen that brand enough, like Linkin Park did, you'll get much more radio play and media than one member doing solo.

This can be applied to any type of art. Critical? Yes. Cry because you didn't get what you wanted based on your high expectations? No.

  5. Great, but it's easily one of those shows that gets ridiculously overhyped & overrated by many fans, like LIT. Lisboa 2012 was amazing, MSG 2011 was one of my personal favorites. Russia 2011 was also great. Summer Sonic is up there too (2006 & 09, 13 felt kinda weird). There's many I could choose.

  6. To add to your point. There are probably millions of more casual fans that have no idea what the name of any of the band members are. For example, I like the band New Politics but I don't know a single member's name. Just because somebody is a Linkin Park fan doesn't mean they'll hear the name Mike Shinoda and make the connection. Hell my brother had no idea that the guy from Fort Minor and Linkin Park are the same guy despite having songs by both on his playlists for years.

For YEARS I thought the band had 3 different vocalists because I saw ITE for the first time on TV watching Chester with his classic "Super Saiyan" short haircut and then a few months later I remember also watching the Numb/Encore MTV music video that they did and I saw 2 guys with a cap, realizing one of them was the rapper (didn't even know his name was Mike Shinoda) and the other one, wich I thought he was new to the band.

This type of things can easily happen even if you know them for a long time, so, yeah, completely agree with RogueSoul and you, he's gonna work his ass off if he wants to truly success as a single artist, but I'm sure if he plays in places like Russia or Japan he will sold out.

  7. I my opinion europe needs way more shows... :) *shhhh Germany*!

Not being mean, but Germany shouldn't be the one country who demands a show because you guys LITERALLY every year when an album comes out you have 99% possibilites of having a show over there without even asking.

Or maybe the "shhh" meant sarcasm, in that case, my bad lol

  8. For a long time I was obssesed with having Mike's DC shoes (he did 2 designs I think) and still to this day I wouldn't mind owning them for real. In 2009 he sended a couple of his paintings to a small gallery in Barcelona and I wasn't aware of it until around 1 year later. I felt dumb for not going.
