Bands way too often just say "due to reasons beyond our control" THAT is a lame excuse.

3 weeks until the show and still no confirmation, that's really odd but on the other hand STP is not a super huge band and it seems to be some sort of MTV show.

The Palace is just a nickname for this one which is actually called Palace Theatre, there's was an actual place called The Palace which doesn't exist anymore in St Kilda, that's the one I meant which is not the right one for the STP show. It seems like Fort Minor actually played the old Palace. Palais Theatre and Palace Theatre in the same area, not very creative haha.

where is this statement from? No where did we ever claim it's legit. It's not on our "official" part of the site either.

In the Hamburg 2001 interview the band states that they were auditioning for a singer for about 4 months. That pretty much fits into the time frame of Mark leaving after the last known Xero show with them looking for a singer even before that. I guess we'll never know more about the Pictureboard sample unless they figure out a way to release the song. They don't seem to be at liberty to talk about it for legal reasons.

lol. I think it's pretty obvious, Chester having the fans sing a lot more than usual plus dropping songs from an already short set is a clear sign.

Why is there no screenshot of that news post if it was up for a few minutes? Just cause it happened doesn't confirm anything. There's no confirmation from both sides, so LP hasn't "added" a show as of right now.

While dropping songs is a stupid thing it has to be done especially if a band risks to go past curfew. The cities/venues or whatever often demand HUGE fines for every minute past curfew or they just turn off the power or shut down the show. I doubt that's the case here, I'm pretty sure they'll bring back ALTNC tomorrow unless it didn't work well enough at the Harman show. I was thinking about them playing WTCFM the other day when I saw that one rehearsal pic.

Yep, they happened at the exact same time. LPU Meetups started at 6:30 PM (check-in started at 6) and ended approx at 8:30 PM According to the show pass the show started at 7 PM until 8 PM or so. lol. Even with setting up the show on short notice they could have changed the time of the LPU Meetups and turned it into a HUGE surprise for everyone... If I was there I would have flipped. The LPU event page even says that The Joint is in walking distance. Just imagine you leave the meetups, walk around Vegas and you meet people that tell you that they just saw LP for free. Or just discovering all the show posts during the meetups when you are checking twitter.
