  1. so is anyone here actually going to the show?
  2. btw it's on the same day STP plays The Joint in Las Vegas, also at the Hard Rock Hotel so basically when that show is over Joe starts his set.
  3. Can't believe they do another one. Disaster in 3.. 2.. 1..
  4. I'd just call it Sanitarium intro and explain somewhere else what exactly this intro is made of. Is Devil Worship the real name?
  5. Not everyone is stuck in the year 2000 music wise, they see the band like they are now and not a decade ago.
  6. VCD or real media please I think you should do at least a DVD cause that's standardized format.
  7. Any updates on those?
  8. This pic needs more explosions.
  9. what about Anaheim 2005? 5 months before the next show, just like this one.
  10. The 13 days are over, where is the surprise?
  11. LP became the masters at not doing something special at special shows lol. It doesn't even take much. I guess that's just something they don't like to do, or just don't see for some reason.
  12. Interesting development. I thought the only way to get tickets for this was by donating and winning tickets, but good to see it's a show for everyone so that's great. I wonder how much the tickets are... btw. anyone going for the LPU Cyber Monday deal?
  13. Yes. I think Asia 2003 is still missing some bands. The Europe 2001 shirt we talked about before is back on ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Linkin-Park-Europa-...=item5af864956c Do we know if this is even real? The seller has some other shirts that are real but other seem fake to me. It's weird that the seller states that it's from Hamburg 2001, which was actually canceled and the shirt has also a typo saying MINICH. The whole thing about Stockholm is really really weird. I just looked again and you can't really find something about the tour being announced. Gaps in the web.archive makes it harder too. PMA.com has a month gap in the archive where the news probably were, same for LP.com. I guess that they announced the show at some point and then canceled it/changed the tour, but we don't know why.
  14. We got the bands for: Newtown: Sunk Loto West Melbourne: Sunk Loto, 1200 Techniques Brisbane: Sunk Loto, 1200 Techniques no idea if Sunk Loto did NZ too.
  15. I guess we'll change it, didn't have a chance to talk to Mark yet. Why don't you just put the pics in the shared folder? lol That saves you some work too, you don't need to post them here unless some super important goes along with it. I'm adding my recent findings to this as well and reduces extra images that we already have.
  16. Skipees please do me a favor and put all the pics you find in the shared google drive folder, that I emailed you about a while ago. I can't add all this instantly, I usually just save the pics, cross them off here and add them some other time. That would save me a lot of work and keeps the thread "cleaner".
  17. I think it all comes down to this statement here: from http://www.tom-bryant.com/linkin-park-kerr...tom-bryant.html so this is a purely estimated number by Phoenix. I don't know when exactly he said this, let's assume it was at the end of 2001, early 2002. Even if he spent only 30 nights in his own bed doesn't mean they played over 300 shows. This isn't bad wording on his part it's simply a wrong statement. They were doing really a lot of tour but 300 is way too much. 300 shows in 2001 is indeed bad wording and a changed quote, even within a year is not true either. It's still used to this day, it's a very impressive statement for the extensive touring that they did back then but if you think about for just one moment it can possibly be true. Just some quick math: A year has 365 days, 52 weeks. Let's say they did 6 shows week, which is unrealistic enough, makes it 312 shows. Let's say 5 days a week which is still a lot! but possible and which they indeed did sometimes, would make it 260 shows. And that is still without all the national holidays (christmas etc. when they were never touring) all the international traveling and the simple fact that you need some room to breath between tours. It just can't be done. While Phoenix estimates over 300, the itunes bio says over 320! If you take the "365 days following the release" literally you get about 160 shows, which is the half lol. I know I'm beating a dead horse here and I posted something similar before but I just felt like mentioning it again ^^ TL;DR: just like Mike, Phoenix has no idea what he's talking about
  18. Remember that he was still thinking that Chester joined in 1998 when those tracks made it on the LPU CD, as well as the wrong year on the HCT merch (lol). He had no reason to doubt his memory until someone pointed it out, if he had looked it up it would be probably right. Even official short biographies are simply wrong. The iTunes bio says 1998 for Chester and the good old 320 shows in 2001 myth, which is absolutely impossible.
  19. So that's the reason why in many of those vocal covers they are singing "I'm sick of living". "List Of Wrong Booklet Lyrics" anyone? ^^
  20. What I mean is we know the dates LP played but this list doesn't help with confirming if all those shows were part of the tour since it's missing 2 of those dates.
  21. It is sadly incomplete and not very trustworthy info since we know there were more. It seems like a very early list with missing venues and shows from March it seems and was never updated since. Maybe the show never happened and was changed into Richmond. Add Spartanburg to the list of shows we have and it would mean LP/Union Underground played 8 shows in a row.
  22. Now that you made these discoveries it seems very likely that 24.07.2000 Orlando, FL 26.07.2000 Richmond, VA 27.07.2000 Philadelphia, PA 28.07.2000 Lancaster, PA are part of the union underground tour as well. http://lplive.net/shows/20000722.php in this tour diary they say they'll tour with union underground for the next 3 weeks, which is the time frame between the first and last show we know about. If this is all based on PMA.com they are only labeled as non union underground because their infos was incomplete. It makes sense I think that all these other shows part of it too, but before we just change it we should try to find proof first.
  23. We have over 1300 shows in the database and this is the first time any of the bands hits Hawaii.
  24. Maybe not a real noob moment but for like 8 years or so I thought Drag It Out + the drum song (both from the Meteora making of) was a real part of the demo until I found out recently that someone just mixed those two because they fit together. For quite a while I tought the Given Up lyrics were "I'm sick of your lying" instead of "feeling". Chester does sing it a bit weird in the studio version imo.
