  1. I agree. If they continue the pop sound for a few albums they're going to have some huge radio breakthroughs like Maroon 5 has, and will inevitably sell more albums because of that. It will be a new fanbase....along with whoever else has stuck around.
  2. The confirmations went out yesterday.
  3. Regardless of what we think with the Experience Version, it gets the crowd going 1,000x more than the studio version. But it is a shame the studio version wasn't played more.
  4. Nice, you've had two really great sets for the shows you've seen. I agree that they have a lot of energy right now. So Krakow did have an encore break after Faint? Or did they play it as one full set?
  5. The 2015 ones I saw in Orlando and Nashville were A+. ROTR doesn't count because that whole show was so fucked without Brad, truly awful. Really a big fan of the song, wish they'd play it more honestly. Huge energy from Chester too.
  6. Outro, after the song. Like RTN acapella. But that answers it anyway, lol. Wow you've seen so many LP shows all over the world...pretty cool.
  7. The crew soundchecked From the Inside before the show. In comparison, they have been doing One Step Closer this tour for the crew soundcheck jam so far. Post show edit: Setlist is up. From the Inside made its debut. http://lplive.net/shows/db/2017/20170618 What's interesting is apparently Invisible has a Remember the Name outro/ending? I guess we need a video to figure that one out. I wonder if it was like that at NovaRock too.
  8. http://lplive.net/statistics We try to keep up with the crowd statistics here. 80,000 is a lot. People really enjoyed this concert it seems. Chester's voice has been off and on for years. We didn't cover the HT and Meteora tours show by show but for sure when he was on drugs, very drunk, etc he has had off days. I'm sure a lot of stuff affects it, like the hot temperature outside etc. No doubt that they need a day off between every show....something we've advocated for for years. I think they will eventually shift to that since the sets are longer now than they ever have been. For sure it will get slightly worse as he ages. Like you said, 3 shows in 4 days is a lot.
  9. The festival sold the one day pass for the LP day later on and it sold out very quickly. They should be fine.
  10. Webcast details in 90 mins, they are going live to webcast some of the show. Not sure on exact specifics yet.
  11. What is Mike yelling at 2:26? When Chester is screaming, he yells in the background but I can't hear it.
  12. To me, it appears that everything besides the headlining arena shows is a shortened setlist in some form (even Krakow). We will see in Amsterdam and the UK if Sharp Edges is played. I really think it will be. Have they ever just worked a song up to play it once and never again? I guess A Light That Never Comes but they weren't on tour when it came out or they would have played it, for sure. It was on the Vegas setlist in full. Now it would not surprise me if Battle Symphony got dropped. They had a lot of issues getting it right. Haha imagine if once they finally could play the intro right, it's gone.
  13. That's a great proposal. I don't know how willing they are to keep rotating right NOW in Europe since it is such a mix of festivals and a few headlining shows, but once the USA tour starts they can hit the ground running if they want. I'm already pleased with the sets, I don't really require anything else except maybe a third rotation spot for the NCSM/BS spot so they can run the USA tour with 3 setlists. Play whatever you want. I mean we can sit all day and say we want Powerless played but if they don't want to do it, it's useless. But rotating these spots would be good and your ideas are very practical. Wastelands is arguably the worst song in the current setlist, too. - Wastelands spot w/ Rebellion and insert song here. A Line in the Sand is what I want. It seems hard for them to play that song, especially compared to the new material, so they might not want to get back into that one. Wastelands, Rebellion, No More Sorrow is cool. - Piano spot. Crawling piano, My December piano, Pushing Me Away piano. Now that's cool. PMA piano has been gone for so long it's a welcome song to bring back to the piano slot. I like it. - Somewhere I Belong, Points, A Place For My Head. This is great. I like it and I am completely fine if it's random or they rotate them in a row. SIB, POA, APFMH each show for 3 shows, rinse, repeat, OR if they do POA for 5 shows in a row, then 2 APFMH, 1 SIB, 4 more APFMH, 1 POA, 3 SIB, etc (true randomness). Doesn't matter to me. And Mike's rap verses are getting creative over Castle. He obviously enjoys it a lot and we might see some truly great verses appear. It's Goin' Down is fantastic. Lastly, I want to say the energy on APFMH is massive. Mike is EXPLODING. Chester really in fine form. They drop the song a lot so it makes me think at least one or two band members don't enjoy playing it. I don't want it to be a forced song. Maybe if it's in every show setlist it would get old for them. Whatever it takes to keep APFMH fresh....do it. One in every 4-5 shows is fine if that's what it takes. Great, great live song. What I really like is that they have finally started rotating songs/sets again and it's ALREADY more interesting than THP touring cycle - the entire thing. Let's see what else happens, they might feel re-energized on this tour and keep bringing in other songs.
  14. Wow, longest LP show ever indeed. Nice find, we'll note it. Astat you are right, I bet that OML intro isn't used again.
  15. IMO, there was no excuse not to make up the USA arena tour in October and November 2015. That was just lazy in MY opinion. They could have incorporated it around the few November shows they had + add some western cities like Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, somewhere in Texas, etc. Release a new single and hit the ground running that fall. The album is ten songs and took an incredibly long time to record....idk I'm just bitter still about the tour cancellation when I see other bands busting their asses to make up shows. If that was Coldplay, Foo, etc they'd make it up. Pretty much anyone. And since it was B markets (or C sometimes), they aren't obviously going to play those this summer. Maybe they'll do a second USA tour for this album.
  16. No video of ALTNC over COG yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_ZnIzuo0QM Direct intro to BIO Verse, weird.
  17. Wow we were told the wrong verse. It's ALTNC it seems.
  18. Best set of the tour so far if it had Sharp Edges. I like the rotations.
  19. I bet they come back the next European Tour.
  20. "Mercedes-AMG will also sponsor the band’s tour across Asia again." https://youtu.be/8L0MUhbddxE
  21. That's not off topic, no problem. Nothing yet. I mean we'd have video if it was up...there's a one hour video from France on YouTube and a one hour one from Berlin on YouTube, but not full. I haven't heard of a full recording of any of the shows yet, unfortunately. This is why I was advocating for DSPs for so long, even just 1-2 per tour.
  22. Edited it, no problem. I think they either: - Debut a third setlist with APFMH, Sorry For Now, and Halfway Right, or - Play the Berlin set again but with a different opener (Fallout this time) This is an actual arena show so it shouldn't have a shortened set time.
