Chester has just announced the Grey Daze reunion show with a video on Instagram. @chesterbe: "Join me and #GreyDaze for our reunion show at the @clubtattoo anniversary party on Sept 23 in Tempe, AZ. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 30th at 10am." Grey Daze added via Facebook, "Alright everyone, We know a lot of you have been waiting for this so Grey Daze will be doing a reunion show with original Members Chester Bennington, Sean Dowdell, Mace Beyers and Jason Barnes, for the Club Tattoo Anniversary party September 23, at the Marquee Theater along with our friends Katastro." The show comes during the break in Linkin Park's North American Tour. In related news, guitarist Jason Barnes posted pictures from in a recording studio. Mace Beyers said a couple weeks ago that they would be working with Sylvia Massy on a remaster of the No Sun Today album. They're probably re-recording the instrumentals just like they did with that unreleased 2001/2002 remaster of the album.

Obnoxious guy in the crowd. But 28:10, Mike does rap part of WTCFM verse 2. Sounds like half of it and it's whispering. How did anyone catch that live? lmao Europe reports to us that it's THE RADIANCE opening the show still and they were able to hear this? Haha -
Yes we want it! Send it in if you can Updated the list. We have received a lot of shows for this tour. Only missing a few.

The USA has some of the worst crowds in live music history. It's just a fact. They are terrible. If you want to see a good USA crowd go look at like, Woodstock 1999. I really enjoy watching bands in Germany. -

Just watched the recording from DIME. Great angles and mix on this one, best one of the year for sure so far. The people really knew what they were doing with this webcast. Monza is pretty much unwatchable because whoever was in charge of the camera angles had no idea anything about the music. They film the crowd for 80% of Talking To Myself, Papercut goes Rob Mike Rob Mike Rob Mike Mike Mike Rob Mike, etc. Disastrous camera work. Glad to see this festival had some of the best camera angles I've seen on an LP webcast, even up close shots on Joe. Joe is audible as hell especially on Catalyst, Breaking The Habit, and From The Inside which is great. A few observations... -lol Mike has a monitor on his keyboard showing the webcast. Noticed Chester's wife standing on the side of the stage too. -Chester's voice in this show sounds a lot better than Monza, and this is the second show in a row for him. Can the very hot weather affect his vocals? Monza was pretty hot and Germany seems pretty chilly/cool judging by what he was wearing tonight. -So with his voice in this shape, New Divide and Waiting For The End are the two where he's straining. I think they should axe both songs. LOATR slightly but not enough to affect it too much. -I still would like to see the show start with Fallout > Catalyst rather than Fallout > Talking To Myself. -The run of Good Goodbye, Lost In The Echo, Battle Symphony, New Divide, Invisible is getting old/boring to me now but I guess that's because we follow each show. Joe messed up the Battle Symphony intro AGAIN too. Nobody Can Save Me is a much better live song for that spot. Maybe move up From The Inside to go after Good Goodbye or something. Or move up One More Light. The problem seems to be New Divide destroys Chester's voice and Battle Symphony and Invisible are pretty boring songs. 3 new songs in 5 spots. -The intro to One More Light seems like it has been fleshed out since it debuted. Sounds pretty good. -All of the new songs have an insane amount of doubled vocals, sampled backing vocals, etc. But One More Light has it too? What am I hearing with the doubled Chester vocals? Sounds like a higher pitched pre recorded vocal track in the mix for about 70% of the song. Check it out. -Where does the last line in Mike's verse on Remember The Name come from? The verse is, "And those motherfuckers he runs with, those kids that he signed?" and Mike since 2014 has rapped "And those motherfuckers he runs with, still in their prime." -The run of the set with Breaking The Habit, One More Light, Crawling, Leave Out All The Rest, From The Inside, What I've Done, In The End (and usually Faint) is really enjoyable. Great run of stuff. But it follows a semi-uninteresting part of the show. -From The Inside is one of the best songs in their entire catalogue, it should be in every setlist. Chester blows the fuck up on it. What other older songs would be go crazy on if they played them....? -Mike on this new What I've Done intro started by playing the piano part at the beginning of the cycle, then he moved to improv on it this tour...now it's a mix of both. Interesting. -Faint is a one hundred times better closer than Bleed It Out, haha. The German crowds are seriously some of the best in the world. Argentina, Poland, and Germany so far this tour have been incredible. Italy and Spain really great too. I know they overplay Germany but that country really treats LP well. -

Yeah you can't tell about Chester's voice unless you are looking at videos after a show. Monza was a huge show. Really epic for them. What happened to Faint? -

Wolfmother is a good band that has gone through a lineup changes but with the same frontman/songwriter. Check out their debut album from 2006 (I believe, could be 2005), it's great. I'll miss LP because Ed Sheeran is headlining Glastonbury tonight. By the way, the Foo show last night might be their best show ever....truly incredible. -

I am pretty pissed that I fucked the timezones up and missed Gogol Bordello, my favorite band on the bill. Wolfmother is kicking ass now. But dang, Gogol is epic. I hope someone recorded it. -

Likely just going off of past setlists, no way they'd have the LP setlist so far ahead of showtime that they'd be able to print it out. Probably what, looked at Monza? lol -

Crowd looks massive, like 40,000 people. Interesting that they were not the last band but I bet the last one was enjoyable since it was covers. Sounds like a good time. What's up with When They Come For Me verse 2 before Heavy? -

I'm happy for Spain, they don't ever get to see LP. 2008 was the last real show there, I guess 2010 was mostly locals since so many fans missed out. 6:10. Krakow show. -
This is a really great show. I listened to the audio recording 3 times yesterday. The band is really getting into the groove of things and are extending the songs out quite a bit. What I've Done is almost 5 minutes long now. Mike brought back the singalong outro to it, there are extended intros to Sharp Edges and One More Light, Heavy has a piano part before it that could flesh itself into a new intro, etc. They are in good shape. The UK shows especially should be great. Then they have two weeks off before they are able to play full headlining sets every night in the USA. Perhaps they will be inspired still by then to change up the variety of songs.

I'd believe it if he did the first verse and then chorus but he started with the chorus. But I can't be sure, I mean you are just as possibly right as me lol. I'll have to see with the next 6 shows (all festivals). -
Yes we did, I fixed them.

Linkin Park announces Good Morning America show

If it's your only option, do it and go. You won't regret going even if it's for a few songs. Plus, who can say they were a part of something special like that show? You'll have fun. -

I think it won't be more than 6~ songs surely. It's in the morning apparently. It won't be a full set from what I can tell. You can't see any other USA show? -

No. Today I think Sharp Edges, FTI, and Nobody Can Save Me. I bet Battle Symphony is gone.
