Not a fucking problem
-
I've talked to Pooch about it and he referred questions to Dylan on it, who has given me an in depth explanation of the in ear monitors and the process in which samples/click tracks are started live.
-
Yes it is.

Seconded. So cool to hear a raw SBD feed. I really like it. http://www.lplive.net/shows/20090719.php - Added the source.

DBS / LP to offer "exclusive" live songs via Google
hahninator replied to LESTAT's topic in Newswire
lol we are terrible Oh well, it's music. Music is music. DBS isn't broke, LP isn't broke, Warner isn't broke. We go to 10 million live shows, buy 10 million copies of the album (I actually bought 3), and buy every other little merch item they put out so I don't see it as a serious problem. A problem, yes, but not one big enough for anyone to worry about really. -

Sounds like Stuttgart to me but I'm not sure. Holy jesus Let Down is awesome. Destroys the fuck out of the album version due to the absence of so much of that electronica stuff I don't like. Chester nails it, the guitar work is great...love it. EXCELLENT song. Now we need the other 4 Vegas tracks! -

Anyone else planning on attending this show? Think I'll be in Vegas for the weekend - seeing 3 shows over 3 days....

DBS To Play @ KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2009!
hahninator replied to immortalsoul's topic in Newswire
I haven't seen a band do like LP did in 2001 and do 4 straight acoustic songs, but every year I do see one band mid-set or near the end of their set say "Well since this is Almost Acoustic Christmas, we decided to bring along our ole acoustic guitar" and play a song. Usually it's just one from what I've seen the past few years. The latest one I remember is Hero Of War by Rise Against (2007?). I don't think I watched the whole thing in 200 because if I recall correctly the lineup was terrible. -
Dave also attracts a lot more fans than LP does live, so I would easily assume since they've been around a lot longer than LP that of course they've sold more.

Hopefully they'll actually play a few songs acoustically, since you know, it is the Almost Acoustic Christmas, lol. -
DBS To Play @ KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2009!

Dave is doing Them Crooked Vultures, I don't think Foo will do KROQ AAC. 12-6 Munich - Zenith 12-7 Berlin - Columbiahalle 12-6 Cologne - Palladium 12-10 Plymouth, England - Pavilions 12-11 Portsmouth, England - Guildhall 12-13 Blackpool, England - Empress Ballroom Unless they play on the 5th and start the Euro tour on the 6th, I don't see that happening, lol. That'd even be a really close call so I doubt they'll do it. -

Crawl Back In - Live At Ulalume To Air Tonight on MTV
hahninator replied to LPxDC's topic in Newswire
Definitely won't be watching this seeing as New Moon is terrible, I don't want to sit for an hour watching crap just to see the millionth performance of Crawl Back In, and plus: FOO FIGHTERS WEBCAST TONIGHT. Only Dave goddamn Grohl can be on a world tour with his new band and still find time to do a Foo Fighters webcast for the entire world & take requests on it too from his multimillion dollar "Foo Fighters Headquarters" studio. Dave Grohl ftw. LP take note, kthx. -

Happy Halloween! Halloween (also spelled Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints. It is largely a secular celebration but some have expressed strong feelings about perceived religious overtones. The day is often associated with the colors black and orange, and is strongly associated with symbols like the jack-o'-lantern. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, ghost tours, bonfires, visiting haunted attractions, pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. Anyone have any special plans?

23.10.2009 - Columbia, MD, Ulalume Festival
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
Broadcast is at 9pm EST and goes from 9pm to 10pm. Included in that special of Ulalume is a big New Moon discussion with clips from the movie and clips of Paramore, AFI and DBS. I expect us to only get 1 DBS song shown. -
LPL M&Gs depend on how many are going to the shows. If you and Valentitix can at least be there and you know some other members will attend, I don't see why not. We could definitely do one for Paris. Hamburg was the best one yet and we had some great ones over the summer - this show would be very cool for one. I think DBS will play a full set. 11 songs.

On the 28th, Dead By Sunrise played a short, intimate set for Google music @ Capitol Records for the debut of Google's new music service. We learned of the performance only hours before it took place thanks to Amir on Twitter. However, we had no setlist or info on what Dead By Sunrise played. Well, that is...until now. Setlist: 01. Crawl Back In 02. Condemned 03. Morning After 04. Fire 05. Let Down 06. End Of The World 07. Inside Of Me 08. My Suffering Show page here. Hahninator: @AmirDerakh LPLive.net - we were wondering what you guys played last night. could you help us out with a DBS setlist please? AmirDerakh: @Hahninator crawlcondemnedmorningfireletdownendinsidemysuffering Thanks to Amir for the setlist!

All the things you hate/dont like about LP
hahninator replied to JZLP-Benningstrong's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Had to do 2 posts due to there being a limit on the number of quotes I can put in one post, lol. THIS. Seconded. Change the setlists, fucking talk to the crowd. Finally 2 LPU shoutouts in 2009 - the first ones since...when? 2004? LPTV...where is the Summer 2009 episode? 1. Well first of all, congratulations. If I had an award to give you, I'd give you the LPU 8 plaque, but I don't so let's start with a bit about me too since you took the time to introduce yourself as well. I happen to also be 18, I also don't have a job, and I'm in college. I apologize to you that I had a free summer between high school and college and was able to use my graduation money to see LP. I'm sorry you can't do that. I'm also sorry you didn't take advantage of PR07 and/or PR08. I went to Raleigh, Charlotte, West Palm, Tampa and Atlanta. I didn't spend but a few hundred. I'm sorry you didn't have the means and/or idea to go to one or two of those shows and have a blast like I did (see: Hunger Strike w/Chester). So you're complaining about being too far to see them in GA or TN, but you're going next time? Irony. Sorry I have time off to enjoy my favorite band, sorry I can make time in my life for things I enjoy, sorry I like Linkin Park a lot, and sorry you can't go to the shows because you live in Alabama. There, does that make you feel better about yourself? 2. I'd rather have the song over the intro/outro than not played at all. See: Reading My Eyes, A Place For My Head, There They Go, High Voltage. I'd like them to play those live (excluding TTG) but I don't know if LP wants to - they need to change the setlists more, I agree. 3. Once again, congratulations. Well, I don't know who carries a "shit-load of fucking recording equipment" to a show besides people with the band (see: Pooch), but that must suck. I take a few small things, sit back, enjoy the show and hit record. Sorry you don't like to do that but I like to be able to get in my car in the parking lot, hit play on the show, and enjoy it on the way home. Not to mention in school, at home, all that good stuff. Awesome to be able to hear the show you just went to. And no, I don't do that for every show in case you were going to say that in a reply. 4. lol. Know the new Paramore song? "Ignorance is your new best friend". Know it? 5. Then why the fuck are you complaining about it? No offense, but it sure doesn't sound like you have a life, lol. Not going to see shows but bitching about it because you can't find a fucking way to do it. I can't go anywhere I want either. I actually don't think anyone can, but that'd be cool. I think it's pretty funny you complain and refer to us as not having a life because we can find a way to see LP play. Cool beans, bro. -
All the things you hate/dont like about LP
hahninator replied to JZLP-Benningstrong's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Then why don't you tell him you don't like it instead of complain to us, and see what his reasoning is for mixing them that way? LIT had backstage footage. I thought LPU 4 was incredible, but that was just me. 6 was cool. Seconded. Are you blind? APFMH was performed regularly from January to July 2008. SquareHead's first post, I agree with everything you said there. Total bullshit. More LPU exclusives in the last year and a half than ever before. Tons of them. By Myself Manson mix, POA on LPU 2 - those seem "released" to me. We have more b-sides from Reanimation than we do from Meteora or Minutes To Midnight. I hate Warner as much as you do too, but LP has them by the balls and they take EXTREMELY good care of LP. Trust me on this one. Fail. See: LPU 9. DBS promo fail - no website, no shit like that = major major fail. Ugh. -
It's a complete joke is what the situation is, lol, we don't REALLY think he was a robot. But we do think Rob was sitting there and letting someone else do the typing for him, like how Naveen used to do it for Mike in the earlier days.
