  1. Yeah that wouldn't be nearly as cool if it was 2007+ ... I'd love to hear some older shows. I wonder if Adam can give us any info on this. 2000-2006 era would be awesome.
  2. Is anyone as excited for 2010 as I am? I mean seriously? Let's see here - LPU 9 drops in like...a fucking week. That's going to be the best LPU CD yet. New song and demos of older ones - badass! What about 2010? -Brand new Linkin Park album -Brand new tour with new setlists -The thing Rob mentioned with them selling older shows online -Hybrid Theory 10th Anniversary -LPU 10 What in the world. This could potentially be the best year to be a Linkin Park fan yet. I am stoked for 2010 and can't wait to see what's going to happen.
  3. Anxious as damn hell to know how the whole live DSP thing will unfold. Hope it's semi-soon. Sooooooo many questions about it and how it'll work. I wonder what shows LP even has.....anyone think they recorded a Xero show or a Hybrid Theory band show? Rob said they'd throw "everything" up so it's quite interesting. And when he says everything does he even mean Wantagh, NY from Projekt Revolution 2007, the Australia/New Zealand 2007 shows, and the summer European shows from 2008? Sooooo curious & dying to know more Gold mine of the whole project and whole situation evolving with this is a Projekt Rev 04 show in soundboard/pro quality. Sweet jesus.
  4. Really? My Dec on the SIB single is supposed to be from San Diego 2002; My Dec from that KROQ CD is supposed to be from KROQ 2000. Do you have both of the files? Exact list of shows I think LP has at the very LEAST: 05.09.2000 West Hollywood, CA, The Roxy Theatre 24.03.2001 London, England, Docklands Arena 16.09.2001 London, England, Docklands Arena 23.02.2002 San Diego, CA, Cox Arena 27.02.2003 Hamburg, Germany, Docks 11.03.2003 Worcester, MA, Worcester Palladium 17.03.2003 Detroit, MI, State Theatre 02.08.2003 Houston, TX, Reliant Field 03.08.2003 Irving, TX, Texas Stadium 06.06.2004 Nürburg, Germany, Nürburgring, Rock am Ring 18.07.2004 West Hollywood, CA, The Roxy Theatre 13.08.2004 Atlanta, GA, Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheatre 18.08.2004 Tampa, FL, Tampa Bay Amphitheatre 18.02.2005 Anaheim, CA, Arrowhead Pond, Music For Relief 02.07.2005 Philadelphia, PA, Museum of Art, Live 8 12.08.2006 Osaka, Japan, WTC Open Air Stadium, Summer Sonic Festival 13.08.2006 Chiba City, Japan, Chiba Marine Stadium, Summer Sonic Festival I'm sure there's a good number of shows that they have that aren't on this list. For example I bet they have at least one Projekt Revolution 2003 show, one Meteora World Tour show, etc. Probably another international 2004 show...maybe they even have Brazil. Likely a few from 2001 we don't have listed, etc. This is the list of shows we have b-sides on singles from, LPU tracks from, etc. For me personally the fucking gold mine is Projekt Revolution 2004, I think if we could just get Atlanta or Tampa...I'd lose my mind, lol. That'd be so epic...I really think LP's best live shows came from that tour. The setlist was just absolutely incredible. Summer Sonic 2006 and a Projekt Revolution 2002 show would be sweet....I'd like a Projekt Rev 03 show if they have one. I am very curious as to how this entire process is going to unfold. How they will sell the shows, what the prices will be, what formats, how it's going to be presented online, if we can order physical copies, what all shows LP actually has, if they will get Pooch to edit them, if they will release just a few now and more later, etc. Lots and lots of questions...I'm quite anxious for this as I've been anticipating it ever since they announced the live CD idea on Projekt Revolution 2007. Rob even said they'd release "everything" they had - what in the world all do they have I wonder. I bet there's just some complete gold in that "vault" though - there has to be some incredible shows with hilarious commentary, etc. My obvious answer to it all is to throw it all online and say to hell with it, sell everything they have (even the partial Collision Course Roxy show) but I'm just wondering how it's all going to unfold. I mean shit what if they put up a Xero show or a Hybrid Theory band show from like 1999? How awesome right?
  5. Would love to get KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2007. I'm sure they have at least one show from each tour recorded. PR03 had 16 shows...I bet 1 likely was recorded, etc. I'm interested in seeing the list of what all LP actually has.
  6. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2651 Shows I think LP has that we could possibly get.
  7. Mike said The Battle was recorded in a studio and crowd was added in later - it wasn't done live. I don't understand why it cuts off so randomly. Celph put a "full version" on one of his releases but it was just him going in, taking the track and extending it afterwards. A full one was never recorded I guess. Noone really knows. Get Me Gone is about Jeff Blue from Warner.
  8. Discuss the chat in the following thread: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2998
  9. Well, that was one sweet chat. We got some great information. As always, the LPU chat transcripts are for LPU members only (that's a perk of being a member!), but we thought we could post a few highlights for you all who weren't there. eng42ine: Hey Rob, do you guys plan on ever releasing any older shows in a DSP format? Something like Mountain View 04 or something like that? rbourdon: Yes, we're planning to release any of the older shows that we have recorded. I'm not sure that we have recordings all the way back to 04, but we're going to release everything that we have available. It's in the works, and we're hoping it happens really soon. nkramar: Do you plan on celebrating the Hybrid Theory 10th anniversary in any special form? Maybe playing the whole CD live start to finish? rbourdon: Yes we've talked about doing something special for the 10th anniversary of Hybrid Theory, but not sure what exactly we will do yet. I can't believe it's been 10 years. raaaaphy: Are you guys ever going to play No Roads Left live? the whole LPU would appreciate that veeeery much! rbourdon: Not sure if we will play No Roads Left live, we did try it out and didn't love the way it came across live. cuzer: Are you going to release more of older songs like you did for LPU9? rbourdon: Yes, if possible we'll release older songs like we will for LPU9. We have a lot of music in the LP vault and we'd like for people to hear it someday. Maybe LPU10... Awesome! Selling all the older shows they have? How awesome is that? Thanks to the LPU and the mods for another great chat! And Mike is coming back for another LPU chat December 9th, only days after LPU 9 goes live. Has the LPU come back or what? Damn, very impressive work being done here by the Underground. EDIT: LPL Exclusive tonight, stay tuned!

  11. Last few questions have been great, chat going smoothly and nicely now. Excellent.
  12. Fucking fail @ some questions. Who snores the loudest? Are you kidding me? Release date and name of the CD? Mike just said they're trying to focus on 5 songs, how would they have that? Ever considered using pyro? Well considering they used it on an entire fucking tour I'm sure they have. Edit: "rbourdon says: Cuzer: Yes, if possible we'll release older songs like we will for LPU9. We have a lot of music in the LP vault and we'd like for people to hear it someday. Maybe LPU10..." Well damn, looks like we finally got some info.
  13. Maybe just guitar on a song or something. Eric Bobo is also joining them.
  14. Dead By Sunrise - 14.10.2009 New York City, New York The Gramercy Theatre 14th October 2009 User "ShinodaChaz" obtained the DVD and uploaded it for those of you who would like to grab it. You may find the thread here with download links, discussion, etc. Note: You must be registered on the forum to view the thread and download links. Enjoy!

    Rob @ LPU

Quick reminder - the LPU chat with Rob is at 4pm PST / 7pm EST today. Have fun! Ask some good questions! I can't attend but if I was going I'd ask if they could expand their live DSP options and start selling older LP shows, but that's just me. Hope we get some good info from this chat.
  16. Is ole Mikey gonna play My Own Summer??
  17. Warehouse from Dave Matthews is the only other one. They get live tracks and shit though I believe, nothing to the extent of us.
  18. I've got a lot of stuff I'd like to give away too but that'll all come later...this first one is just her stuff. I bet nkramar and a few other staff members have some things they'd give out.
  19. The first ever LPLive Raffle will be taking place later this month (next week actually). What is the LPLive Raffle you ask? Well, member "Ash_Qwerty" came to me with the proposal - basically she is giving away her entire LP collection and she would rather do this through LPLive with actual LP fans versus doing it on eBay. I thought the idea was pretty cool, so why not? She has all sorts of stuff...over 50 singles as well as all of the albums, some LPU material and a few signed items. There's around 70 items in all, which will make a pretty cool giveaway. Basically the way we're doing this is we're going to set an account up and moderate it...and let people "buy" raffle tickets for a certain price (a few dollars) and then pick winners accordingly. All the details will be posted soon, but I just wanted to get the idea out to you guys and see what you thought. The tickets won't be like $2 each...probably more like $5 only because I'd like to do this internationally and open it to LP fans all over the entire world versus just the USA or USA & UK. Shipping items all over the globe brings the costs of things like this up, but we're trying to do it the most efficient way possible. This will be the first in a series of giveaways, raffles and contests LPLive will be doing to bridge the gap between now and the new album.
  20. Meh I was getting at the whole "song made, mastered and completed for album consideration" instead of "seed taken from a big jumble and given to the LPU" kinda thing, lol. ....fail? What? Prices will not be higher than the highest $ package now I don't think.
  21. I know I keep hyping it, but I think LPU 9 is going to be the best LPU year yet. The CD is going to be absolutely killer. For those of you who haven't seen the tracklisting, check out Mike's post about it here. Things I'd like to bring up about the package: - This is the first time we're getting a vinyl from the LPU - the premiere pack is back! - 9 tracks is the 2nd most of any LPU CD we've had before (LPU 7 with 10 live tracks comes in first) - A totally new completed song for an album (b-side of MTM) that we've never heard before (first time since LPU 4) With a release date in early December, which I would guess would be within the first five days of the month, I would expect more information on the package to be released very soon by the LPU. That is, after all, only two weeks away! I'm pretty psyched for what the shirt will look like and what else the package will have. And will they have the Best Buy package available again? After seeing that HMV Japan is able to sell the CD, I would imagine so; Black Friday is the biggest sales day of the year, so could we possibly get the CD next Friday? Excited much?
  22. Maybe they changed it; I have no idea. The email I got is exactly what I posted.
  23. Yeah they always webcast the show
  24. From the KROQ Street Team email I got this morning: KROQ ALMOST ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS 2009 DECEMBER 12-13, 2009 GIBSON AMPHITHEATRE DECEMBER 12th: AFI Rise Against Alice in Chains 30 Seconds to Mars Three Days Grace Dead By Sunrise Anberlin DECEMBER 13th: Muse 311 Slightly Stoopid Phoenix The Bravery Metric Vampire Weekend Cage the Elephant White Rabbits * Tickets for both nights on sale Saturday at noon. No Linkin Park this year, but Dead By Sunrise is playing second on the 12th. Anyone from LPL going? The lineup looks sweet...but AFI headlining over Alice In Chains? Thoughts on the lineup?
  25. Unreleased songs? And One = on HTEP Dedicated = LPU 2 QWERTY = LPU 6 That's released. And One demo is almost exactly the same as And One, which is why he was asking why do you like the demo of And One versus the regular version of And One so much better. Vertical Limit is not a real name for a POA demo. The only different demo name for POA I know of is "Points & Authority" versus "Points Of Authority".
