  1. I'm in. Camden always has great crowds. Got some seats for Nick and I right near Dylan. I can't see him flying over for just one show. He flies all around the world for a day or so, yeah, but this will be with Digby, a crew guy, Tater on monitors, a security guy, and some gear (at bare minimum). He doesn't have a big setup or entourage but that's thousands to do all of that. Surely they add another date like NYC or something?
  2. It has the potential to be the most LP-sounding song: -from OML sessions -written by Brad and Mike, the core LP songwriting team -has a guest (OML had guest songwriters)
  3. Agreed 100%. They changed the style up big time and it still had the LP feel, as Geki said. Fantastic album and all of the bonus tracks, b-sides, session songs, etc are great. Some of the demos too. They did an awesome job. I bought the hoodie, the WID shirt, and the circle LP logo shirt.
  4. Holy cow they have added so many dates. London. Mexico. USA tour. I will get it all added soon. European dates next. Huge touring year coming right up.
  5. Is there a way with your Amazon USA account to order from Amazon Japan?
  6. Remember anyone can edit that on Genius so I don't think that is correct.
  7. If you're subscribed to the band's email list or follow them on social media, you have seen the announcement about brand new Minutes To Midnight merch. "To commemorate the 11th anniversary of Minutes To Midnight, we created a few new merch items featuring logos and symbols from the album cover and packaging." The four items include: - Black MTM band font logo shirt - White MTM band font logo shirt with "What I've Done" lyrics on the back - Black MTM LP logo shirt - Black MTM hoodie with band logo font The new merch can be purchased here: https://store.linkinpark.com Will you be picking up any of the items?
  8. As you saw from our Twitter post, iTunes has added the track time to "Running From My Shadow" from the album. It will be 3:24. iTunes routinely adds the song times just before it releases a song, so be on the look out soon for the track. Our friend Martinez has supplied the track credits: MANNY MARROQUIN - Mixer MIKE SHINODA - Producer, Lead Vocals, Writer, MainArtist BRAD DELSON - Writer Kevin Hissink - Writer Ross Golan - Writer Michelle Mancini - Masterer Jordan Benjamin (grandson) - Writer Boonn [?] - Co-Producer Mike said both Place To Start and Make It Up As I Go originated in the One More Light sessions. This song features Ross Golan, co-writer of Halfway Right, on the song as well as Brad Delson. Since Mike didn't mention this track originating with the One More Light songs, it appears he worked with Ross again. 5/21 Update: Mike confirms the song will be released on Thursday, May 24th at 9am PST. As usual with the other Post Traumatic tracks, he will be releasing a music video for Running From My Shadow as well. "Running From My Shadow (feat. @grandsonsucks) /// song + video this Thursday 9am LA time. #PostTraumatic"
  9. Mike spent a day in New York City this week to promote Post Traumatic and do interviews. First up, he stopped by to talk with Sway at SiriusXM. Be sure to check the comments of the video as Mike gets a lot of credit from hip hop fans, with many saying how much they love Linkin Park. He mentions "Place To Start" and "Make It Up As I Go" both coming from the One More Light sessions. And unreleased Chester music? It exists, they have it, but it's too soon to think about releasing it so there are no plans right now, understandably. The second interview is on SiriusXM Volume, which you can listen to for free with the SiriusXM app or however you access Sirius. Check that out here.
  10. Geki I agree with you except that the first three 2015 shows for some reason, Chester was in tip top shape vocally which totally blew away the Europe 2014 performances. However, I could be biased since I was at two of the three January 2015 shows and I didn't see Europe 2014 in person but just the Berlin broadcast. He wasn't as good at Rock on the Range, though. Orlando and Nashville, holy hell I don't know what happened but he was really on it. Those two shows were so impressive to me. I agree with Meteora era and 2007. 2006 and 2009 were pretty incredible too. 2012 Honda Civic Tour after Europe had some amazing shows. Hell you could argue every cycle had shows where Chester was just on it big time. Japan 2013. All sorts of stuff. I even will say Mansfield 2014 had LP in 10/10 form, big show right there. Holmdel too. Watch Werchter 2017 and then the full fan video of the Sweden 2017 show right after it. The last five shows in Europe they had hit that stride and just fucking owned it every single night on stage. Of course Berlin, etc were great earlier in the tour...Krakow too and all that. But once Werchter came they really smoked about 5 shows in a row which set up the potential for the North American Tour to kick off in a huge way, especially with a stadium show as the second show. Damn damn damn.
  11. https://youtu.be/MpaCqPRY1K4 And another song Mike can sing. Wow.
  12. I like this. 100 Degrees is one I thought that should have been played in 2005-2006. Slip Out The Back is highly underrated as well. I think adding High Voltage (Raid Remix) to this makes it perfect. LP set Until It's Gone 2014 Intro Papercut Rebellion Some sort of mashup (POA LFY Faint) It's Goin' Down Castle of Glass Experience Roads Untraveled Hands Held High Invisible Sorry For Now Iridescent (Messenger bridge) Burning in the Skies Shadow of the Day/With or Without You In Between Leave Out All The Rest (Piano) One More Light Final Masquerade (Acoustic) Looking For An Answer The Little Things Give You Away ----- A Light That Never Comes Numb In the End Bleed It Out (Messenger, APFMH, guitar jam, drum solo bridge)
  13. Wow, extremely well said. Couldn't agree more.
  14. I agree with everything you said. It may be his lack of experience (understandably) as a true frontman when it comes to singing. I think what could help him is a vocal coach. Maybe this world tour will help him too. He sounds perfect on Roads Untraveled and Castle of Glass but I know exactly what you're referring to. It could be his confidence too, because he was shying away from the mic on Victimized on the 2012 Honda Civic Tour at first. Pooch even said he had to turn the mic volume up (a little spike) at the start because on the singing verse Mike was being too quiet. That seems like confidence to me. He's one of the best live rappers but maybe he doesn't think he's the best singer. However, I think that can be fixed with practice, maybe a vocal coach, or something. Perhaps as this Post Traumatic Tour continues we will see improvements on that front. It's not enough for me to bitch about at an actual show by any means, but I still know exactly what you mean. If they were to hypothetically hop back onto world festivals and big arenas (which I think they will), that is something that needs to be addressed. And I think he'll eventually fix it.
  15. I mean we already know he can handle Papercut, we saw it at the Hollywood Bowl. Jon Green on the harmony vocals at the end... really good. Would love to see him just do the alternate lines that Mike needs on that song, then Papercut is handled. I don't think they will do a Bleed It Out mashup in the LP sets. They can do the verses, chorus with Mike letting crowd sing that stuff, bridge can be dropped for drum solo, guitar jam duel (look at WPB 2008 intro), Mike doing Reading My Eyes/APFMH, etc. There are so many possibilities for the songs that it's pretty unbelievable. He will build his confidence on this world tour and be good to go, that's my bet. He has played just one days worth of shows and we already see Papercut, Castle of Glass, Sorry For Now, Roads Untraveled (shortened only because Brad's guitar part wasn't there, so no worry there), When They Come For Me, In The End. We haven't even gotten into the deep cuts like High Voltage or It's Goin' Down. Or the main album tracks like Burning In The Skies, Iridescent (he sang the whole thing at the Bowl) with maybe even a Messenger mashup, Invisible, Rebellion, etc. There are also other songs he can strip down like In The End into piano form... see Final Masquerade acoustic. One More Light. Plenty of mashups possible that we don't even know about. The more time that goes on makes me even more confident he can tackle a full LP set after this world tour and when LP reconvenes. They only NEED 80 minutes (the length of the Meteora sets when they were headlining all over the globe). In this post I only mentioned 15 songs, LP was playing like 17.
  16. Identity wasn't webcasted professionally, just from some phones.
  17. I don't think he will play 90 min sets. 50 is headlining length for him. Perfect tour set to me. Maybe 55 ish. I'm like the exact opposite, i truly might have zero interest if they get a new singer. Couldn't think of anything worse lol. This is going to make so many people mad no matter what they do, but we will all have to get over it. It's their lives, not ours. Even though I'd be completely opposed to a new singer, that might be the route they go with. But i hope not.
  18. The setlist is a lot better than the 2015 shows i think. Well i liked high voltage and cigarettes there. But wow. ITE piano really was tragic About you, over again, papercut in a row is awesome. Mike showing he can do the LP shows when he's ready, making a big statement with the LP songs in the set. Keeping the memory of Chester alive in the sets which is why we all wants. Where'd you go piano sounded awesome. Interested to see whole set. Maybe more live debuts. It took a lot to get back on stage. He even said it was hard to do a part of that set. I'm stoked he's back out and I'd love to see the show. ITE made me pretty bummed watching it. Still a hard deal for many of us. He's the only person i want to do the LP music anyway though.
  19. ‪Mike plays at 4pm PST tomorrow at the KROQ Weenie Roast. Webcast info is now available. Tune in tomorrow to watch. https://kroq.radio.com/blogs/kroq-weenie-roast-webcast-broadcast-venue-info‬
  20. I saw people say he is playing the second stage.
  21. I think Mike does a USA tour just because he said he saw all the smaller cities that are doing well.
  22. The set times are not out for the shows yet.
  23. Agreed fully. And Kimmel performance was amazing. Krakow, etc too where they added that live intro. Man looking back at that European Tour, you can really tell how much fun the six of them were having on stage. That tour reminded me a lot of Europe 2007 (ten years prior) where they were in just such great moods at all the shows and were experimenting with new live intros. In 2007, it was Bleed It Out and No More Sorrow. In 2017, they messed with One More Light, Heavy, even A Place For My Head. Probably others too. Plus all of the extensions they already had worked up before the tour. I was really excited for the USA tour. The two stadium shows were going to be historic for them. Fact is, Chester went out on top with an amazing European Tour that will go down as one of the best they ever did. LP's statement in the OML Live release kind of looks like a stereotypical "Chester shared with us that these were some of the best shows we ever played, and we agree" type of statement but I fully believe that it is true.
  24. I can't believe it has been seven years since the ATS Thailand show. It seems like that happened maybe just about two or three years ago. Time flies. Bangkok has amazing crowds, check the 2007 DSP.
  25. I'm glad Mike is starting in Asia. Asia and Australia have been the two areas most neglected by LP since The Hunting Party (besides China). They didn't hit the area for THP, even though they planned to do Japan (Nov 2017) and Australia (March 2018) for OML. I think it's great he's going over there to get things going, it sends a good message that he isn't focused mainly just on Europe (as usual lol). That's not a diss on Europe in any way, the crowds, promoters, etc are all great. I would like to see a USA tour in the fall. Nine Inch Nails is doing a tour in the States this fall... it'd be wild if Mike opened.
