JayBradFaintComboGuitarDoubleWhammyActionsNastyBassRockLinkinSound2010.... GO!!! *throws Pokeball* Seriously... looking forward to Sydney n2 and South America
-
Not that I know of. I wonder *exactly* how this works. I'll be going to the first 3 shows so I'll have more info for you on that when the time times. It could be one code for everyone that we can all share, very possible.
-
Very possible that they'll allow us to share these just from this tour on LPLive again! That'd be so nice. I'll ask if we can

Linkin Park just posted on their Facebook page the following message.... "As a thank you to our fans, every ticket to our 2011 North American Tour comes with an audio download of that night's show. The tour starts next week. See you out there." ArtistDirect.com adds, "Fans will simply send a text to a short code that will be displayed at each venue, and a link to the download will be emailed to them following the concert." "The energy we get from our fans is what makes a great show," said bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell. "We wanted to show our appreciation by giving that experience back to them." I'd like to point out that this is certainly not the first time the band's generosity has been shown to their fans. In 2008, they ate all the service fees on tickets that we hate so much for LPUnderground fan club members. A flash back to that... "As a thank you to our fan club, we're picking up part of the tab for their tickets to this summer's Projekt Revolution," says Linkin Park co-frontman Mike Shinoda. "We'll be paying the service charge on fanclub pre-sale tickets, which will save each fan roughly $8-11. Our fan club has been incredibly loyal and supportive, and we hope this gesture lets them know how much we appreciate them." Read more about that here). See all available 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and soon-to-be 2011 shows that the band has released as a part of their live CD program (2007-2008) and Digital Souvenir Package (DSP: mp3s and pictures of the shows) program (2008-current) here. They all go for just $9.99 a piece. Earlier in the touring cycle, it was announced that all LP shows on the "A Thousand Suns" touring cycle will be released as DSP's. This may exclude certain festivals as it has in the past (mainly due to contracts), but all headlining shows and some festivals will be released! Thanks guys for the continued support of the fans!

Someone get me the 2 fixed Canberra files please Melbourne 1 in the usual place shortly.

What would you like from another Project Revolution?

Main Stage: Linkin Park Three Days Grace Jimmy Eat World Kid Cudi Cage The Elephant Second Stage: Stone Sour 10 Years Sick Puppies Get Busy Committee Against Me! Would rather see a huge Linkin Park / Muse coheadlining arena tour with an opener of like, 30 Seconds To Mars or something. Gooooooood god. Give both LP/Muse an hour and a half to do their thing with encores; switch the headlining band each night; EPIC. -
Melbourne 1 is out! I guess Sydney 2 and South America to follow soon!
-
Yeah text me or email me!

For those of you wondering, I just received word that the South American DSPs will likely be posted within the next week. I would assume this means they'll 99.9% for sure be here before the North American Tour starts on January 20. So I think they are coming in the next few days! Thanks to a good friend for the info! You guys excited? I thought I'd post this for those of you who have been left in the dark wondering. Hope this helps you! I'm just as excited as you. We'll get the debuts of several songs as well as 3 shows with GREAT crowds!

Pooch says: "Canberra - was a show that we had technical difficulties with. In the end we spent a bunch of time re-editing stuff in order to release something that we were proud of. Sounds like you were downloading the files during the time we were having this discussion about what to do with them. We decided ultimately to take those files down from the site, do some re-editing and mixing, and releasing them as a better version." Hope this helps you! I want to collect both versions of the songs so that I have them. I need someone to purchase the new version and seed it so we have it.

That's what you get for not ever posting, lol -
No idea what's up with the other 2 shows but I assume they'll be posted shortly. "Thank You. Your feedback has been submitted to the Basecamp Team. You will be contacted via email regarding your issue shortly." I emailed the download support team about the Canberra tracks. LOL @ if they EVER respond.

I wonder if WTCFM is now edited to flow into Faint? We should get someone to download and check. I'll shoot off an email to Pooch and ask him what the deal is. lol @ Brad. Chester put the LOATR lyrics on stage for when they played that too. That's pretty funny. Hell yeah thanks to nkramar for getting Brisbane taped. Epic epic story of how that went down that we should post sometime. The taper went through HELL to get that taped. Love it! They weren't released initially because WBR Australia thought it'd affect the sales of MTM in Australia/NZ. I guess they worked it out? lol

That was such a fucking good show. Where'd you sit at? Band was on fire, crowd was loud as hell. Place blew the hell up on OSC to start the encore.

That's because they didn't sell them for Australia lol (until 2010)
-
Agreed. The live performance of The Messenger is awesome. and yes if it's missing any single song, it's Papercut

Total Production International magazine (website) did an extensive interview with the entire Linkin Park live crew that is on the road with the band for the "A Thousand Suns" World Tour. The magazine caught up with the crew before the Manchester, UK show in November and covers all sorts of information behind the live show for the band. The article mentions that planning for the current live set began as early as January 2010 and rehearsals began in August. It gives in-depth information on the current technical aspects of the show and how it all came together. They have an online version of the magazine that you can view here. LP is featured on the cover for December and the actual content begins on page 42. You'll need a flash player to view it. Previously, they've interviewed the fan-favorite Pooch in early 2008 (read here) and then did a backstage video blog with him as well on the January 2008 UK Tour (watch here). And thanks to Pooch for the heads up on this! Check it out!

I didn't know Muse did that. What songs? Knights Of Cydonia intro?
-
Melbourne 2! Check the DSP! Sounds great. Demons aren't slow. It took months for us to get Asian DSPs. One day isn't slow.
