I mean the setlist jpg pics. It's not listed on the setlist pics from before Skive?

The Asia 2013 setlists are the first ones ever where I have seen Qwerty and not QWERTY. However that doesn't really mean much. Just interesting. We'll keep it in all caps.

Some epic shit would have to be dropped if they suddenly played more off of LIVING THINGS plus the new songs they'll have by then PLUS all 9.3 million singles they INSIST on playing every single show. -

I loved TLTGYA but it really destroyed the vibe in the crowd every single time I saw it. Such a great song but it needs to open the encore if its played. Otherwise people will snooze. The 2007 performance I saw of it is golden. It's actually the one that made LPU7 too. I like the improv intro they added to it. I'd take TLTGYA back in the setlists all day over LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent, which made me leave the crowd in Uncasville to go to the bathroom and walk across because it was so...boring. -

As a big Hybrid Theory fan, I am thankful for this, seeing as I've waited since 2007 to see some of these songs live. And I didn't get Runaway But wow the LT fans...I understand where you're coming from completely. ROADS UNTRAVELED, I'LL BE GONE, POWERLESS, SKIN TO BONE and the full UNTIL IT BREAKS all weren't played. That's easily a record for the band. I hope on the next album they play more of it live. As much as a I dislike LIVING THINGS, I love POWERLESS and I could have enjoyed the others I saw. Hell, anything is better than LIES GREED MISERY. Even Foreword (insert Skipees reference here) The COG video in the main post is golden. Hope they keep that song next year since....NO ONE in the USA saw it outside of Vegas and LA. -

On the 17th, Linkin Park plays their fifth show out of six total shows on the Asian Tour in support of LIVING THINGS. This show takes them back to Taipei, Taiwan to play the Taipei Arena, where they have not played since September 2011, their last Asian Tour. This will be the band's fourth show in Taipei ever. Their first show was in 2007 at the Taipei County Stadium (show page here), where they played for over 40,000 fans. While in Taipei, the band entered a local studio to record their parts for 'We Made It' (w/ Busta Rhymes). Of course, this is where this GEM of a video was recorded: After that, the band canceled a 2008 return to Taipei at the Zhōngshān Soccer Stadium when Chester got injured (forcing the entire tour to be canceled), but they returned for 2009's Summer Rock Summit at Taipei County Stadium (show page here). This is the show where (over the intro of 'Points Of Authority') was performed on stage for the first time ever. Not bad! Finally in 2011, the band played the Nangang Exhibition Hall (show page here), which was a show that featured both 'Blackout' in the encore along with a 'Bleed It Out' that had the 'A Place For My Head' bridge. Along with 'Burning In The Skies' midset and 'Papercut' opening, that's pretty solid for the A Thousand Suns era! At the band's last show of the current Asian Tour, they played in Hong Kong, where they held their 9th LPU Summit (show page here). Set A was played in full for the first time on the tour, meaning it was the first time 'VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY)' and 'The Catalyst' were played on the tour. The band performed these two songs ironically at the LPU soundcheck before the show, decided to do that instead of an acoustic set like they originally planned. Since both Set A and Set B have been played in full, it is very likely that the band will use these two sets for the last two shows of the tour (Taipei and Kuala Lumpur). Since Set A was played in Hong Kong, we assume it will be Set B in Taiwan, but you never know...the band every now and then does something unexpected. However, with just two shows left on the LIVING THINGS touring cycle, it unfortunately seems like 'When They Come For Me', 'IN MY REMAINS', and Set C ('With You' opening; last played in Rio in October 2012) will not be played anymore on this touring cycle. Something really positive about this tour, though, is that 'CASTLE OF GLASS' is sounding great and is sounding increasingly better at each show. Here's a video from the Manila show on the 13th, showing an excellent performance of the song: After Taipei, it all ends in Kuala Lumpur on the 19th. For the full 2013 tour schedule, including setlists from all of the recent shows and more, click here. SETLIST: 01. A Place For My Head (Long Intro; Ext. Outro) 02. Papercut 03. Given Up (Ext. Can someone check their DSPs and let us know? I actually don't remember. I do have setlist scans for Skive, Lisbon and Madrid 2008 that we need to add to the site, and they're listed in that format. I'd check my Winter 2008 DSPs but I don't have access to them until Monday since I am traveling. I believe it at least wasn't in 2007.

For the live guide's sake, we agreed to: - Not capitalize Reanimation songs. We originally did this but we went back on it, and now use the lowercased styling. As far as we know, those songs are not INTENDED to be all caps. - Capitalize LIVING THINGS and the songs off of it. Mike mentioned it was intended to be all caps, and the label/LP mgmt instructed iTunes to do it that way. Yes, MTV did put an article about it. - Capitalize QWERTY because we have never seen "qwerty" written anywhere, or even "Qwerty". It's a QWERTY keyboard, not Qwerty keyboard. On all setlists too we've seen it as QWERTY as far as I know.

They rehearsed for four days for SSMF and the Asian Tour. I assume the reason they did VICTIMIZED and The Catalyst for the Summit was because they haven't played both of them in a WHILE. LP is a band that has to rehearse and rehearse and rehearse. It took them two full weeks to get CASTLE OF GLASS down. In the four days for SSMF/Asia rehearsals, I believe they did: (this is off the top of my head so I might have one or two days in the wrong order) day 1: ?? day 2: POA, Papercut, COG, -> full Set A day 3: ?? day 4: KROQ rehearsal, and then they ended rehearsals I assume day 1 was just a few songs, day 2 was Set A, day 3 was likely set B, and day 4 was the KROQ show. That's not long at all. To work something up it takes them a good bit. -

The two loudest shows I've ever been to were Nickelback in 2010 and Foo Fighters in 2008. Crazy shit. Nickelback I legit for the only time ever, had to hold my ears closed during a few songs. It was that bad. Pooch confirmed with me in 2011 that their sound engineer doesn't care and just cranks the shit up big with no regard for any safety lol. Both of my ears have the constant ringing sadly. I haven't had legit hearing loss as far as I can TELL right now after taking quite a few ear tests, but I do listen to music too loudly. And I need to wear earplugs. http://www.setlist.fm/user/Hahninator After seeing 137+ bands with 300+ performances, I'm sure I've unfortunately done damage to my ears and I wish I had taken precautions earlier. I like Pooch a lot because he gave us a legit explanation of the sound volumes he uses for LP, what decibels cause damage, etc. Like a 30 minute explanation. He cares a lot about it thankfully. -
Was it PR07? I thought those 3 BIO names didn't come into play until Europe 2008. I'm pretty positive about that. I've got setlists from Europe 2008's 3 sets and what you are talking about is listed on all of them but I don't see them on PR07. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong PR07 sets lol

Timing really is everything. You are exactly right. That's why we posted about Reading My Eyes in the week before SSMF, because we thought they'd maybe do the full song. I'll post about Figure.09, P5hng Me A*wy, etc. Good idea. Remember in between the NYC 2010 show and Buenos Aires when Chester said the ATS tour would have different things to make the new songs blend in with the older songs more? Everyone took it as either they'd play something off of Reanimation, or they'd do some new intros/outros. Nothing happened except the Oppenheimer Radiance thing, lol. That was pretty cool. I thought they'd do P5hng.... -

Sorry, I had a family emergency today and I couldn't get the thread/site updated. Working on it now. At least VICTIMIZED and Catalyst are still in this setlist, even though A's encore is just miserable. And RME returns, that's hilarious lol. I like it though. Ironic soundcheck set. -

New Divide in 2009 kicked major ass. When I saw it again in January 2011 I was not impressed at all. Why in the world would they drop Mike's synth/piano intro??? That shit was just fantastic. The Macau 2009 one is great. -

I pretty much forgot it was a single lol. Without drastic changes here's a better version of that set. The problem is that it was 24 songs last year including Empty Spaces. So with COG replacing IMR, full Papercut and full LFY, and dropping two songs, it's impossible to get it all back in there with 24 songs. So something has to go. Numb, it's about time for you to take a nap 01. A Place For My Head 02. Papercut 03. No More Sorrow 04. Somewhere I Belong 05. New Divide 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. With You 09. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 10. Points Of Authority 11. Waiting For The End 12. Breaking The Habit 13. CASTLE OF GLASS 14. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent 15. The Catalyst 16. LOST IN THE ECHO 17. What I've Done 18. BURN IT DOWN 19. In The End 20. Bleed It Out (w/ RME) ------------------------ 21. TINFOIL 22. Faint 23. Lying From You 24. One Step Closer I'd love to do the LFY/Papercut/VICTIMIZED/QWERTY combo again but I guess that's unrealistic. I guess dropping Numb is unrealistic too. Maybe this whole set is unrealistic. Fuck, they just play too many singles. -

Astat would you (and everyone else) like to see No More Sorrow instead of Given Up? I feel like NMS with that long intro, even if it was played from 2007-2011 (over four years), was still an amazing song live. I agree about WTCFM. Mike on that song is legendary ("sing that shit motherfuckers!")...his energy is all over the stage and the song comes off flawlessly live. Blackout is my favorite song on ATS and I'd love to see it live and back in the setlists, even if Chester wasn't NAILING it live, but he sure was sounding good. LGM I have disliked ever since it debuted in Lisbon. Even seeing it six times live did nothing for me. I'm not a fan of it and Chester doesn't even scream the end like he does on the studio version. I liked Catalyst a lot and I am surprised it's not in the setlists anymore either. I'd rather see that than WFTE. It's a shame they only opened with Fallout and Catalyst at two shows....that was a neat opener. For me, if they swapped LGM for Blackout, GU for NMS and added WTCFM, it'd be an epic set. -
The Asian Tour is halfway over! Linkin Park's fourth show of the six show tour takes them to Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong to the Asia-World Arena. Chek Lap Kok is an island in Hong Kong where the Hong Kong International Airport sits. The Asia-World Expo is also located there, which contains the Asia-World Arena - the spot of the Linkin Park show. This will be the band's fourth show in Hong Kong, playing there three times before, once in 2004 (show page here), once in 2007 (show page here), and the first show of the 2011 A Thousand Suns Asian Tour (show page here). Hong Kong is lucky on this tour, as they are able to have three Linkin Park-related events in three days. Day one of the LPU Summit on the 13th featured a Music For Relief activity in Hong Kong, which looked pretty fun. Attendees even got to hang out with Lorenzo and explore Hong Kong with him. The 14th will feature the third LPU Meetup event (after Los Angeles and Tokyo) at Hong Kong's Hard Rock Cafe. Finally, on the 15th, the band will host the ninth LPU Summit at the venue for fans. At this event, we expect fans to be able to walk across the stage and interact with the gear, meet Linkin Park, and witness either a soundcheck or an acoustic performance. This will be the first LPU Summit since Auckland earlier this year and the second (and probably final one) in 2013. As a recap, the last show in Manila on the 13th featured a slightly different Set B. 'Lying From You' appeared in full in the encore for the first time, but as a result of the full 'Papercut' and the full 'Lying From You' being in the setlist, 'VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY)' and 'The Catalyst' are now gone. What do you think? Do you like the new Set B better than the old Set B, or vice versa? This show is completely sold out! The Hong Kong Linkin Park fan account linkinparkhk will be live tweeting updates during the Summit and the show. Earlier in the tour, we saw Festival Set A played in Osaka at Summer Sonic (show page here), so it's likely Hong Kong will see either another performance of the full Set B or a full Set A. The first verse of 'Reading My Eyes' has been interesting so far....appearing in Los Angeles, being skipped in Tokyo, coming back in Osaka and being skipped again in Manila. Will it be over 'Bleed It Out' in Hong Kong? What do you think? After this show, Linkin Park closes the tour with a show in Taipei on the 17th and a show in Kuala Lumpur on the 19th. For the full 2013 tour schedule including past dates and setlists and upcoming tour dates, click here. LPU SUMMIT SOUNDCHECK SETLIST: 01. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 02. The Catalyst 03. 'In The End' was started by Joe but the band stopped it to do the Q&A session instead. - First performances of 'VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY)' and 'The Catalyst' since March and February, respectively. - The first verse of 'Reading My Eyes' returned over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'.

Thanks for the RME info. I understand the wanting to see new songs part. For example, I like The Killers a lot and they're only playing roughly 3 songs from their new album at each show. Sometimes 4 if the fans are lucky. I love the new album and wish they'd play most of it (at least like 6-7 songs from it). With LP though, I wish they'd play nothing from LIVING THINGS, but hey that's just me haha. I totally understand the fans who want to see more than LITE, BID, LGM and COG live. No VICTIMIZED must suck for those fans. Even if LP played an exactly equal amount of songs from each album, I still think people would be unhappy. I love the fact they're doing more HT/Meteora stuff now since 2010-2011 didn't get much of that, but I do love WTCFM, Blackout, BITS, etc....stuff that isn't played anymore.
