Encore was supposed to be ALTNC, Faint, OSC. It was on the setlist before Faint but was dropped. Aaaand that's probably the same thing that happened to me at Sunrise in 2011. Band dropped Fallout/The Catalyst "just because". Sometimes they say fuck it lol Faint had like a "3 second TINFOIL intro". I guess the sample on the computer they have is from 2012 where it came out of TINFOIL lol

I wonder why they didn't play ALTNC. That seems weird that they'd do it at the Harman show and not tonight lol BIO had some sort of chorus singalong during the bridge.

+1. Especially for everyone (including me) aka 99% of the forum that thought that they'd totally phone in these performances in regards to the setlists, meaning Set A again.

No way LP rehearses two totally different sets for these shows lol I still break it the fuck down live to Papercut. But I also break it the fuck down like an African drug lord in the jungle to WTCFM. So I guess that's a fair trade, haha. Papercut won't be gone for long. If this set has APFMH in the encore then this would be a homerun for the band. What's surprising to me is that the Vegas Harman show started with Faint -> OSC and this set throws that totally out the window. Interesting. Numb next.

CASTLE OF GLASS after BTH. Then Ballad Medley. Oh Blackout is great. WTCFM I saw in 2011 and it was fantastic. And then we had to leave the Bristow rehearsal when Empty Spaces started in 2012 haha...bombs exploding with sirens and we were leaving...saddest moment ever. Anyway, WTCFM on that tour kicked ass. Might have been my favorite song live in 2012. The Alpharetta one was the best one for me on that tour. It got added to Set B at the last minute, meaning it was in TWO sets at the start of the tour when I saw it (!!!). Mike gets into that shit, bounces around the stage, he rocks it hard. No joke, the band looks like they love that song the most live out of anything besides APFMH. The crowd liked it a lot too, yes. You know when Mike is saying "SING THAT SHIT MOTHERFUCKER" that it's good. 1:39 to the end. Band looks like they're having the time of their lives. I fucking love that song.

Wake Given Up New Divide

On January 10th, Rock In Rio Brazil posted on their Facebook page that Linkin Park would return to Lisboa, Portugal to play Rock In Rio 2014. Kudos to LinkinPark:br for catching the information before it was taken down a few minutes later. Their tweets say that the band will be performing on May 30, 2014 at Rock In Rio Lisboa. We are waiting on official confirmation but we expect it to happen soon. Held at Parque da Bela Vista in Lisboa, this festival brings huge crowds for the band. The band last performed at the festival as their first European show of 2012 but they also played there in June 2008. 1/13/14 UPDATE: Rock In Rio has confirmed that LP will play on May 30th, 2014 via Facebook. 1/13/14 UPDATE 2: Linkin Park have confirmed the show via Twitter 2/12/14 UPDATE 3: Steve Aoki has been added a special guest.

On the 11th, Linkin Park plays their third show out of three total for this short "escape from the studio" mini-tour they are doing. The band played a private show on the 9th in Las Vegas for their recent collaboration with Harman, meaning they're playing two shows at The Joint in a row. A few lucky Linkin Park fans were even able to get in that were near the venue. This is a benefit for Music For Relief and Power The World entitled the "Concert For The Philippines." To get access to this show, you had to donate or raise $250 for Music For Relief before you were given a ticket. This will be Linkin Park's second show ever at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The first show took place back in 2012 (show page here) for the X GAMES, where LP performed a full setlist a month before the Honda Civic Tour kicked off. That show was streamed online, so if you missed it for whatever reason, make sure to check it out on YouTube. Highlights to expect from this show will be the full-band performance of 'A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES' and the collaborations that will take place. The band has rehearsed with both Heart (on 'CASTLE OF GLASS') and The Filharmonics (song unknown) in recent days so we are expecting some great collabs at this show. Bad Religion and The Offspring will be performing as opening bands. Special guests are Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart, Travis Barker and The Filharmonic. It was previously announced by Examiner.com that Tom Morello and Mix Master Mike were guests too, but this hasn't been confirmed by the band as of right now. With the show starting at 8:00pm, it is unknown if the special guests are performing sets or not. It is also unknown whether Linkin Park will be performing a full set or an abbreviated one. EDIT: At the second Las Vegas show, the band brought back 'Wake' for the first time since March 2008 and let it open the show along with 'Given Up' once again and also brought back 'Empty Spaces' and 'When They Come For Me' for the first time since October 2012. 'A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES' was on the setlist to open the encore but it was not played for an unknown reason. This show will be streamed via the AXS mobile app. It was also announced that it would be on LP.com, but this doesn't seem to be happening as of now. However, fans are in luck since AXS will be showing the performance on February 15th on television. I would love that. Maybe play 10-13 singles every night but swap which ones you play, and play 10~ other random songs. Valentine's Day would be awesome. My December. Figure.09. I think we will begin to see this in the future with the band since on the last touring cycle they dropped In The End finally for one show and dropped Crawling for over a year. I'll take it.
