I've been away so I'm late to this disappointing news. I'm mostly disappointed in Chesters commitment here really, it was a worry we all saw instantly so why didn't he, or his family? I'm sad that all this groundwork has been put in establishing himself in the band (both he, lp and their fans taking a lot of stick from stp fans*) but it was a waste of time. I'm mostly disappointed that I never saw them live, which I always knew was unlikely (living in England where STP weren't big at all) but still, I've loved STP for a long time, loved Scott and obviously love Chester so I naturally would've wanted to see them live. From the very beginning of this I could never understand why they didn't just 'Guest' Chester, not officially sign him up but say that he was casually part of the band, right now they were writing and touring with Chester but he wasn't officially in the band, it would have helped with the legal stand point a few years ago and it would have made it easier for Chester to walk away which I think I felt would always happen and leave them free to see other singers, an open relationship! Urgh and it was Scott to announce it! That is both hilarious and cringeworthy at the same time! *i have an unfortunate habit of getting seriously wound up when people slag off my band, it's my weakness and I've found myself in a few disagreements on STP's fb page.

It was interesting how Chester and Brad seemed to be desperate to go home. Didn't Mike say that particular tour was difficult for Chester? (I may have misinterpreted this as in quite sleepy)

What's with the flash mob competition? Fans should just be thankful that they're seeing LP perform live!

I am so excited and happy for you!!! I love awesome moments like that!! I bet you keep remembering it and grinning like a loon! Some of my best meet n greet moments are from Mike 10 years ago on the FM tour.

Wow. I feel so bad for the LPUers going to these shows, I know I'd be gutted. Hopefully LP won't go forward with this money making model. I like to think they won't.

So the fans really were forced to sit down throughout? Are there any pictures of the crowd? I'm curious to what it looks like! If armed guards were really at the show I imagine it would make LP feel very uncomfortable (Obviously everyone feels uncomfortable, just moreso them as it's their show).

His paternal grandparents i.e. his fathers parents would have the same surname. However I don't believe this article as it states his maternal grandparents i.e. his mothers parents are called 'Lovejoy' when I'm 99% sure that was Anna's surname before marriage. Or it's a big coincidence. As a side note - what a bizzare website! Celebrities ethnicity??!!

There is elitism on both the websites, I find that both websites are very similar with regard to the members, though the LPlive forums are busier. I prefer LPlive’s website layout (sounds random but the colours on LPA aren’t easy to read) and as a non musician I enjoy reading/learning that side of things from certain members that I don’t pick up on.

Apparently Mike's emailed to say his verse will be on the remix (Mike backtracking here). I can't believed he emailed - what a wuss! Honestly this whole thing is so childish - Ryu shouldn't have posted that suff, he wanted self gratification from fans that he should have been involved. He should have spoken to Mike. However, now we know, Mike shouldn't have been a tool and he should have picked up the phone. Naughty step for both of them, then they need to hug it out.

The video is more impressive than the song. I'm not saying I don't like the song, it's already growing on me but I do agree with Astat too. I think if Mike gets a good response from this song he'll push forward with an album he's already pretty much done.

That is interesting! Is Fort Minor defined as Mike's project regardless of who is with him or was it Mike with Styles of Beyond? Could Mike have ditched SOB without even telling them about his upcoming project? Is it all just a big hoax - but then Mike has been on social media today and if the Conan thing was total boll*cks surely he'd say?
