I will admit that the price does seem rather high considering we know so little, but if the lack of information is such a major problem for you then wait and find out what the benefits are. It's not like you are being told that if you don't purchase your membership now then you are never going to be a true member. Adam didn't mention whether or not the international fans will benefit from the package at all, but seeing as so many international fans are LPU members already, I highly doubt they will be ripped off. You either trust the LPU to give you your moneys worth or you don't, and if you don't... Well, that's your problem. I can see why they would get rid of the package, all the majority of people do is bitch and carry on about how the CD isn't to their liking and how they would rather not be seen wearing the shirt. If I was in charge, the packages would have been gone long ago. Even LPU 8 was complained about... That I didn't understand. One thing I don't understand is Hahninator saying that the prices are higher to remove the more noobie fans. I don't see why being poor makes someone a noob... And either way, if a fan is left out because they are a noob then they will probably ditch the communities altogether. I get the feeling you didn't mean it that way though, considering back in the LPF days you were one of the people who got me from noob fan to fairly well informed fan. tl;dr: -Don't trust LPU? Wait and see, then make up your mind. -Fans always complain about the package, so no wonder it's been discontinued

The Little Things Give You Away is by far the most underrated track of Linkin Park's. It has a quality to it that no other Linkin Park song has. It was the one track we knew was coming and were hyped about; however upon release it was kind of shunned. I think that it could have been a single if it weren't so long; but the length is part of it's beauty in my opinion.

Good to hear I'm not the only one left on this earth! haha!Most people who buy a lot of CDs do that. Not to mention, how can you go wrong with $1 cds? I picked up Further Seems Forever's Hide Nothing for $1. Yeah I know it isn't an amazing album but certainly worth more then $1. I also buy a lot of local bands EPs and Demos. It's always good to keep up to date with the local scene!

Anything is good. Live or not, it suits me just fine. Really, the price for LPU isn't very high and so anything more then the shirt is a bonus for me.

It is a common occurrence, people always wait for leaks to show up. No matter who they are following, leaks are always the highlight of a band releasing for most people.Fortunately for some bands, there are some people who buy music still. I think I'm one of the few people to still buy CDs!

Everything but Joe wearing the cowboy hat and lab coat on stage would suck. Ahhh Get Me Gone. Still makes me laugh to this day.

Linkin Park's worst move would be to try and get their lost fans back by trying to appeal to the Nu Metal crowd. Seeing as Nu Metal is horrible (take for example Taproot, terrible until Bluesky Research but then went back to Nu Metal and they suck again), they would lose more fans then they would regain and it would tell everyone that they have run out of creativity. Luckily that isn't going to happen. Linkin Park are too smart for that. As for Lil Wayne, maybe 3oh!3 or whatever they are called will make a song with him? Or Ke$ha? Or any of those horrible acts. That way the radio can contract a fatal plague while credible music takes back the internet from those horrible Crunkcore bands that are trying to become popular.

How about some REAL metal AKA NU Metal... I'm joking by the way... I think some Power Metal is the way to go. I love Power Metal.

What do you mean by boring? I really don't understand how that is boring at all. It is one of the better non album tracks Linkin Park have put out.

This thread is a good example of conclusions being jumped to. Blackbirds is at the VERY least a contender. I think it is a great song!

It's hard to point at a single track to call a least favorite, but seeing as Meteora and Hybrid Theory overall sound very similar, that makeup is kind of boring after that many tracks. But I can overlook that seeing as 99.99% of bands tend to do the same thing. So I will say that the least cool Linkin Park track is Don't Stay in that if it wasn't compared to Nu Metal it would be horribly written (99.99% of Nu Metal is horribly written). It's redeeming factor is that live, it is spectacular as an intro song.

It isn't unusual for an artist to leak a track onto the internet so that more people can hear it and get a feel for it before the full project is released. It is a good tactic atually. So I wouldn't be suprised if Mike did it, especially for Fort Minor. I'm sure he would have heard about the tactic from other artists he had worked with/toured with/met so perhaps it was to test it out to see how well it works in case later in Linkin Park's life they need to resort to such tatics (though we all know that wont ever be nesessary, especially with their new found creativity with MTM haha)

How is it falling back on Linkin Park when he has always said that Linkin Park is the more important of the two projects? Wouldn't that make Fort Minor a project to fall back on if all else fails? Also; Remember the Name and Petrified are quite well known tracks (at least here). I can't tell you how many terrible trance remixes I have heard in the past few years...

I can see the reative side to Dead By Sunrise however to me it sounds overall very boring. I think the reason I like Fort Minor a lot more is because it manages to hold my interest a lot more then Dead By Sunrise. The thing is, it's that same thing that makes me look at Hybrid Theory and Meteora as good efforts and Minutes to Midnight as a work of art.
