Because they have to sync all the lights, screens and make the all the music sound good, that involves all the backing tracks and live instruments, and all of this is hard to make it right in a couple of weeks.

EDIT: And today at 4pm CET Rock am ring/Rock in Park will throw a new bunch of names. We already have two headliners there (Slipknot and BMTH with an european exclusive shows) so maybe the third one will be LP. There's another possibility, instead playing RiP/RaR, they can play at Southside/Hurricane like in 2017.

The song gives me vibes of MTM and some Post Traumatic, and some kind of feeling of something like One Ok Rock. The Jon Green collab is really there in the voice melody. I like it, a beautiful begining and a high energy ending for a "ballad".

We already have the hint that they will perform in París in July. Can't remember right now if there's some rumours about a show in Argentina, and now Spain with a couple of stadiums in Madrid available to perform shows...

Maybe they are recording these shows for internal use, like to polish details of the live show, vocal melodies that not working as well as they initially thought, songs that not moving the crowd or things like these. Talking with some friends many of us think that this tour is more of a test than a proper tour. To fire up the engines and get the band in perfect shape for the Hard tour next year. If you see the Emily from LA show and the one in NY, there are changes in her way to perform song songs like The catalyst like some of you has already said. I see this as a warm up, but in a very high level.
