It would definitely be interesting to ask. I'm pretty sure they might say something generic like "we don't have any plans for something like that right now" which is obvious. If they say that I would ask (in a respectful way) why not. I find it hard to believe nobody has ever offered the opportunity for LP to perform an unplugged set. Not trying to assume too much, but LP is a huge name. LP's first ever (full) acoustic set would be something special. If the band just doesn't want to, we have no choice but to respect that. It would be interesting to know if that's actually the case though.

Exactly. The UIB remix has been out for a while now, yeah, but at the end of the day the UIB remix will be on the same album as the reboot. So that argument is invalid in my opinion. Yeah but Astat posted that a week ago lol. It seems like they'll post the 3 parts after a week of each part being Xbox Live exclusive.

Lol I think we tend to look too deep into things sometimes. If Joe made a full remix I would want to hear it more than the Rick Rubin version though!

Why would they not include the reboot of ALTNC... Maybe I'm crazy but I would think that's the more logical choice. Something like ALTNC (Album) and ALTNC (Rick Rubin Reboot) am I wrong?

Totally agree. Would have been a bad ass DVD too.. Could have possibly also had a mini documentary maybe or something with the band talking about their history in the area more in depth as a special feature too. Oh well I guess. Not complaining, simply pointing out that in my opinion that show was great! Better than the RTR show.

That's kind of what I figured. I've seen it mentioned that SOMEONE asks about that song in every LPU chat with Mike. Personally I think it would be cool to have just to hear it, but it's almost like people treat it like the holy grail lol. LP fans want this like Beatles fans want Carnival of Light. Part of me feels like we'll probably hear it one day, but it won't be really mind blowing. Then again, She Couldn't has become one of my favorite pre-HT era songs. Who knows I guess. I would rather have the Tech N9ne remix

Not trying to be "that guy" who everybody rolls their eyes at for bringing this song up (I've seen this song talked about in the past many times, I know...) but do we know anything about Pictureboard besides it's an old song which can't be released because of sample clearance issues? Anything at all? Is it an instrumental? Does Mike rap on it? That kind of thing. I just wanna know if anything has actually been confirmed about this song besides: It exists, and it samples something.

I'll be honest, I liked that remix too, but the amount of remixes they released for BID almost made me stop liking the song in general. The fact that they used a few remixes from the subscription and only used one BID remix is a good thing in my opinion. I wouldn't count the Van Dyk remix either.

I agree. The only one I'm not genuinely happy to hear/own is the BID remix. That's just my personal opinion. Wasn't really impressed with the RU remix either lol. The 2 songs that got 2 remixes each though, they happen to be probably my favorite LT tracks. Also excited to hear the Rick Rubin reboot of ALTNC. I'm really curious to know which direction he takes it in. If he makes it have more of a rock edge than the original that would be pretty awesome. I have faith that this will go down a great remix album.

It's for sale because its part of the album. I was under the impression a download link would appear on the Recharge game site or something when the goal was reached. Idk if they did or not. I never played it I just bought it on iTunes. Still I see your point though and its what I've been wondering. Release it for free on Recharge, then put it up for sale the same day....?

Supposedly iTunes pre-orders will start when ALTNC is unlocked. I would think with the pre-orders on the LP site starting today that they don't expect it to be TOO far off. I hope not anyway, because the digital pre-order is what I'm waiting on!

This implies that BID has 7,000 OFFICIAL remixes. I wouldn't consider fan-made remixes official. If that's true I would be literally speechless.

Can someone tell me where Phoenix's "mistake" on NMS is? I think I saw Astat say Phoenix messed up during recording and it made it into the album.
