I think it's sad that we've reached a point where a new project by Mike only gets responses by 4 different people in 8 days.

Some of the people who have been mainstays of LPL, who have always been here and involved with every LP and LP related project, have stepped back more and more since the NFT stuff started.

because it's a minor news. this project ain't the same par/level as ZIGGURATS. well, the forum is only active on the chatbox more rather than replying in a thread.

Sounds like Skin to bone and that LPU16 demo with the dark trappy beat  called Dark Crystal

'Dark Crystal" is one of the best track in LPU16. still remember when the EP released, I imagine LP7 will sound like that. and i still wish they can implemented it for future releases.

  3. DAMN! this project is freaking sick! robots always been a part of LP culture since the beginning. amazing collaboration. Cathedral is a perfect song for this. Regarding WarpSound, the remix is cool. and the artwork reminds me of M.Shadow of Avenged Sevenfold. 😂

thanks for this update dude! really appreciate it. 💯🔥

My cassette came today, took some pictures because I'm guessing this is probably what people are most interested in with this year's stuff.

This is probably stupid to point out, but they didn't flip the Ns for the new release

thanks a lot for sharing it in here. interesting that the notes is for LPU21 instead of the same note from LPU2 CD.

If a person is promoting and participating in something that I think is morally and ethically wrong, then it will surely affect me and my opinion of this person.
It‘s fine if other people don‘t care but I think it is totally understandable if people have a strong opinion here.

sorry, but this is plain out wrong by now. He said things like „people think this is bigger than bitcoin“, „prices usually go up after the first mint“, „embrace the fomo“ etc. He is making people afraid of missing out on something. If he hypes up something and then puts a small disclaimer at the end it doesn‘t free him up of all responsibility.

nahh, he's just encourage people to join the NFT world but not forcing. people keep using the same reason/excuse why NFT is ethically wrong but without proper proof. if you think it is FOMO, that's your problem. he never ask his fans to be FOMO for not participating. i think you're a little bit exaggerated. you hate NFT much until you bring the hatred to everything. how bout you go off the internet for a while and rest since the NFT thing wont stop for a long period from now on. you just have to accept it.

Literally don't care about the NFTs, have not followed it at all. Thought it was so weird Mike sold a 37 second clip of One Hundredth Stream for $36,000 and all of us thought he was selling the actual song in full lol

There isn't any real downside to him doing NFTs for the LP community. He's releasing music and has made everything available musically to everyone that he's sold as NFTs. So why does it matter that much to us? He pissed off the gamer community but that's their problem they have with him about coming up with hypothetical futuristic situations. He preaches all the time about like, "don't get into NFTs if you don't know what you are doing" to the LP fans. In that regard, he isn't being careless about being a "leader" for some folks in that area.

Just don't see it as such a huge deal when he's always been interested in new technology for pretty much the entire history of the band. We don't pay it any attention since we aren't interested. Some people may like it, so that's fine.

Preach. these are the words that im looking for. some LP fans thought they owned Mike and can decide what's good or not for him, that's pretty bad and sick. NFT is one of Mike's side project/hobby and he doesnt owe any fans for it.

Like when Mini Disc was the future you mean.

there's a try & error for those stuff. Mini Disc lead to something else, improved version (eg: MP3, MP4 player). same goes with NFT, it will lead to something better. at the moment people will laugh and bashing as hard as they can but once it will be "norm" in the future, people will understood. i'm not NFT person but i like how it goes, the system. the more you learn, the more you discover. problem with people nowadays they love to jump straight to conclusion without taking time to understood. it's not your cup of tea but it might be for someone else.

Should stick to music nft are pointless

it's not pointless if it's making money. people like Mike wont make something pointless.

also, i noticed that there's a trend where people want to jump into the trend or bandwagon on hating something. just because NFT is not your cup of tea, doesnt mean everyone should follow.

Thank god for new Julien-K and Grey daze soon. I love Mike, but i find this all very boring.

"i find this all very boring" = "not my type of music but gonna comment anyway". errr, okay. 🥱

Top of most liked jams right now according to YouTube are

    1. One Hundredth Stream
    2. Wonderguns
    3. Reaper
    4. Netscape New Year
    5. Freestyle 12.14.20
    6. KarmaKon
    7. Release Day

Maybe next time Mike can release one of those? If he would allow LPLive.net to pick up one jam and he will release it, which one would you vote for? It doesn't have to be the one from the list above.

These are my favourite jams that I would love Mike to release it officially:

    1.  iJustine Tool Lindsey Sterling

    2. Melodic Metal

    3. Pokemon Korn Classical

    4. Anime Prog Metal Video Game Theme

    5. GamesCom Theme

    6. Sepia Tone

    7. Gospel Choir

I think he still considers the track named "Return Of The Aliens"!

He just added the song because it was in the playlist while he was drawing and thought it was fitting!

Thank you for the confirmation! 💯 I thought he will rename the track after official release. Gonna update my playlist now. 😂

After relesing this jam Mike's said:

I was the only one who was trying to remind him about it. Thank you the whole twitch chat for the help, this is how much you really wanted for him to release another one :)

Twitch chat is ridiculous. not all of them really care bout the jam, they only care bout asking Mike stupid question and trying to prove who's the OG/senior in the chat. that's why i'm no longer chatting in there.
