  1. I went to Best Buy and it was all GA. I'm about 5'3" and a girl and I was fine. I only really got "tossed" once and that pushed me forward so it was worth it. I think if you're a guy then you'll be fine (unless you want to mosh).

GA is definitely the way to go.

And to the guy talking about the crazy fangirls.....BEWARE! He's absolutely right. At the end of the show when Chester came in front of us I was lifted off my feet and basically supported by the poor man in front of me (who I was lying on top of) and the immense amount of bodies around me. That wasn't very pleasant (got to hold Chester's hand though ;) ) but that was only at the end.

  2. i've waited forever for this moment. i am going to be travelling 2200 miles to see them for the first time. i just wanted to know what type of tickets to get for the best concert experience. general admission or vip? which one gets you closest to the stage?

I really hope you already got your tickets because they sold out in about a minute. I'd try a different city because there a few up there and I'm sure that tickets are available.

To answer your question, GA is good is you get there early enough. The only other type is Reserved which is a seat. I hear that smaller people (I have no idea what you look like) might prefer this because GA is standing so if you're short you might not see. VIP is an upgrade of either GA or Reserved. You have to buy GA or Reserved and THEN you can upgrade to VIP and get those perks.

    I hope that helps!

  3. So I went on today on the hope that LP would have some tickets for the LP Access people and I GOT A TICKET!

However, a lot of people said that they got as far as putting their credit card info in and then TopSpin told them that the purchase was invalid or some BS. I REALLY hope LP figures this out.

So I'm trying to get tickets for my friends now.

Does anyone have info on the supposed TicketMaster sale on Friday? Normally you have to have a code, but is it just for a special group of people (i.e. a certain credit card) or is it for the public? Any information would be appreciated!

  4. The point is, that the person who "forbid" Biel to share it, is his friend, as far as I understood it. If you promise something to a friend, would you break it "only" because a lot of people want you to do so? (though I totally agree that its stupid of his friend to forbid it in the first place, but thats not my business, though i'd love to see the show as well, of course.)

Oh, well that still seems silly to me. I think at this point he'd be helping Biel by letting him share it so everyone will get off his back. I wonder how this got leaked though. Obviously the taper didn't want people to know he had it.

Though I would love to see this, I'll agree with a lot of people here. Just release Faint, even through a PM to this guy. He's been waiting 6 years!!! It's not really fair of you to hold it back from him now that he knows there video of him performing.

  5. I've never been involved with the trading community or anything and I've read through this thread to try and figure out what the big deal is. Unfortunately I still don't get it. Is the taper going to do something horrible to Biel if he releases the tape? It's been stated that legal problems aren't an issue, so I'm really confused why they just don't release it. What's the point? It's not like we wouldn't appreciate the video. The amount of people asking on this thread shows that. I'm just really lost as to why it sounds like Biel is a dead man if he releases this.

  6. Quick question, does linkinpark.com only sell floor seats? Every ticket is selling for 1 price as general admission on the floor. I'm interested in the Toronto show, they're playing at the air canada centre and I KNOW they can sell the 2nd, 3rd levels as well. I was just curious as to what was going on..

I got tickets to Houston as General Admission but there were reserved seats available. It could just be the venue you're at.

  7. I'm sorry, but you guys act like pit tickets at LP are dangerous. Come on now, it's an LP concert, not a Slayer show.

d00d...have you seen those teenage girls when Chester walks out?

I lol'd so hard. When I saw LP in NYC I was in the pit. I'm not a big person (5'3") but it actually worked to my advantage and somehow I had a bubble around me that 3 very large guys created, lol. During the concert I was fine, but at the end was when it got a bit bad. Mike came over and that was ok because he went kinda quick. But when it was Chester, omg. I was literally off my feet and on top of the guy in front of me. lol that poor man. (Got to hold Chester's hand though! :D)

I can't wait to do it again in Houston and Dallas!

  8. I got pit tickets for me and my sister. We're both on the short side (I'm 5'3" and I'm the tall one, lol) so we'll see how that goes. She's not super excited about how long I'm going to make her wait, but I can't wait!!!

I've never heard of any of these band, but I really don't care because I'm going to see LP! Hopefully I can make 3 shows this tour.

  9. How do you sign up for LPU M&Gs? Just redeemed my code.

Wow. I couldn't have planned this fucking tour any better myself. I literally have these shows fall in the PERFECT time frame.

I come back from Christmas break 1/18 Tuesday. First show is 1/20 Sunrise. I have to be in class for mandatory attendance the first day. That's 1/18 for my Tues/Thurs classes, 1/19 for my Mon/Weds classes (or just Weds classes), 1/24 for my just Monday classes.

    1/20 is a Thursday, 1/22 is a Saturday, 1/23 is a Sunday.

What the hell, Linkin Park planned this as nicely as it could be planned. LOVE IT.

MSG and Cincy are both on weekends. Denver too in case the Summit is there. The entire fucking tour is planned around my school calendar. Wow.

That's awesome!! I seem to have the worst luck with LP concerts. Woodlands was the day before the first day of school. NYC (was difficult to get too) was on a day I had an exam. And these next two TX shows will have me missing both my Tues/Thurs class and if I go to NYC (85% chance) then I'll miss a Friday one. :S I can't wait for a date to be on the weekend, or better yet during the summer!

  10. Just bought 2 tickets for Houston and play on getting a ticket for Dallas and I'm 75% sure I'm getting one for NYC.

Speaking of MFR does anyone know how that works? Do you buy your ticket and then they reimburse you? I'd love to work the booth at one of the concerts!

  11. This is great. Presale is on Monday and my class schedule is due that Wednesday. Will definitely be planning around the tour dates. :)

Also really want a few Texas dates (Dallas and Houston!). Though NYC was epic I'd rather see them here, so I don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money. :)

  12. So its looks like its available on linkinpark.com with the purchase of LPUX

A bit off topic. It says that members who buy the monthly version of LPUX will get access to presale tickets. I thought they said that only people who buy the annual version would get that?
