pretty average IMO, although im not a fan of the doors i do like ROTS and i believe that chester sounds too weak compared to the original. Too mellow.

It sounds a bit to mellow to me too, but I do like it.

Meteora may be my favorite LP album so far (it's a toss up between that and HT) so I guess I'll thank Warner for that. But I do think the experimentation began on Meteora, just within the same song structure of HT. The shakuhachi flute on NL, inverted acoustic on SIB, stuff like that. It was basically gutiar bass drums vocals and samples/scratching on HT. Yeah the things I mentioned are still samples but they're stuff that came from outside the box. I agree that there was pressure from the label but I don't think they wrote and scrapped a whole album of material. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. I wouldn't have become an LP fan without Meteora. Numb is their best song to me.

This video was great!! Doesn't make much sense to me with the song, but I really like it anyways. Poor Chester though. It must've sucked to shoot that. First being the the water and then having power in your mouth and all over your clothes.

LOL, I was freaking out all day asking if someone could sell me an extra ticket you could have answered!! Well at least I got the ticket, like I said lol this was the one show I refused to miss out on even if I had to act a little crazy to get a ticket.

You should totally go! I'm a freshman too and I'm going to miss 3 days of class and I'm from Texas, lol. The amount of stuff I'm doing to go is slightly insane but LP is worth it! Just need to ok from my Chem professor and I'm there!

Though I feel a bit sick at how much money I'll be spending. $65 for tixs, $250 flight, $? to bus down to Houston if I'm flying up with a friend, $Food...so I'll be eating ramen for a while till my bank account likes me again.

This is HORRIBLE!!! I'm not mad at the kid who leaked it so much as I am at the situation. Why not just have a link on LPU? I was planning on buying the ridiculously priced LPUX to go to the NY concert, but I had a schedule conflict. I'm SO happy I didn't now. This really sucks and I hope LP does something to fix it. Maybe another concert just for LPU? Something! Everything has been effed up since LPUX was announced.

This is GREAT!!! Xero stuff, Meterora and MTM are the demos I want. I don't think they can go wrong in this, as long as all the stuff is NEW!

Question. Do we know yet about LPUX being part or seperate of the $60 thing?

I'm still a bit worried about LPU allinating all its international fans, but some of these posts have calm me down. I love the idea of LPU once again being exclusive. I hate those people who post everything on youtube and stuff. However $60 is a LOT. I'm a pretty hardcore LP fan, but I'm also a poor college student trying to pay for books right now. I feel the $60 will not only eliminate the "lesser" fans, but also those who can't afford it.

Thanks but does the LPUX album (whenever it comes out) come with the $60 or is it one of the things you buy seperately?

But I have another that you don't seem to be addressing. What about the INTERNATIONAL FANS???? They're a HUGE part of the LP fanbase and the big reason they joined was to get the package. In fact I'm pretty sure that's the reason most people join. M&Gs are like winning the lottery AND its not the whole band AND the band has to be playing nearby. USA fans bought LPU9 for the cd and shirt. We didn't get a tour in 2009 or 2010 so presale was useless for us.

I understand if you can't say anything, but this is our hard earned money we're dealing with. I can't in good conscience throw $60 at something, when I have no idea what I'll be receiving. In my mind the only people who should be buying this are those from NY/LA and those who have money/parents to buy it for them. So can you give us something that will encourage international fans to buy it?

Please ADAM what about the international fans???? Will they benefit too?

Unless you're from NY I don't see how this could possible be worth buying FOR ONE SONG and to get access to the new LPU that's going to be effed up by ning. LPU has always been promoted as being fan friendly, when you know that anything "exclusive" will get leaked, Ustream took away the "exclusiveness" of band chats, etc...

I wish I KNEW what I'd be paying $60 for. That's my biggest problem.
