The 607 guest should really sign in.

Only got to listen to the album once, so I don't have too firm an opinion yet.
I like the slower songs after "Victimized". The only one that was extremely out of place to me was Until It Remains. Need another listen but my stream died.
I wonder who just got fired at Apple for that fail.
-
Am I the only one who can't access it?
It says it's not available in the US even though I'm in the US and have the US store selected.
It sounds like iTunes might have taken it down. So if you're not streaming it now you might not be able to access it.
-
I had full intentions of waiting, but I'm not strong enough. This isn't even a leak, its a STREAM. Shinoda who the heck isn't going to listen to it?!
-
Didn't listen, and now it seems like they were taken down. I don't think I'm strong enough to wait till the 26th. lol

Say what you want about the DSPs, but Crawling always gets a loud response from the crowd. At the show its great, and the band (and rightly should) think about the audience they're playing for and not the one who's being the DSP afterward.
Though personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Crawling dropped. Numb and In The End have to stay though. Chester still has it with those, and you cannot argue just how loud the crowd gets for these songs. Look at Rock in Rio. Everyone (myself included) was bashing the crowd until Numb started and now it's being argued to be one of their best shows.
It'll be interesting to see what happens.

1. Requiem
2. Faint
3. Lying From You
4. Given Up
5. What I've Done
6. No More Sorrow
7. From the Inside
This is from the NY 2/4/11 show. It was the best opener of the shows I've been too. I love Faint as an opener. The rest of the line up can be moved around.

Very cool video
Haha.
APFMH was insane, I think I'll buy the DSP just for that.
I wonder how the DSP will reflect that mess up.
-
Congrats to the Mexican fans! I can't wait to see video of that show. I know the crowd will be epic!
-
Who knows if we even get the full show in the cinemas.
We get like 50-60 minutes of the show in HDTV on the 22nd. It wouldn't surprise me if the highlights stream is the same length.
I think theaters does. I remember it saying it was going to be 1.5hrs long.

I wonder what the "special intro" from the band will be. Just a generic "hey we have this concert for you, enjoy" or something else? Did Webster have the same?
-
start a one-man pit
I'm going with my sister and a friend. So we can have three, all female pit haha.

You guys are getting way too upset. Accusing people of thinking Mike's some sort of "authority figure" because he proposed an idea that some of us thought was pretty cool and intended to do? Please. Pull your heads out of your asses. Of course it's a marketing tool. That's the point. It's not a threat. Mike wasn't saying "if you don't do this then LP is over". He was saying "Hey the album's definitely going to leak because Warner Bros is a major label and we're a huge band but maybe see if you can wait until the arbitrary release date and make a day of it? Or just make a day of when it leaks, whatever." That's it.
Jesus Christ this fanbase sometimes.
This. I can't believe how upset you guys are getting. This came across to me as nothing but a suggestion from Mike. He didn't post it on LP.com, but on his personal blog. He mentioned a way to increase our pleasure of the album, by talking about how he used to do it. No it is not the only way, but he just offered a DIFFERENT way of listening to it. He posted that he KNOWS it will leak. And I believe Mike asks every year for us to wait so that we listen to the album the way the band wrote it. I'm just absolutely stunned by how offended and upset so many of you seem to be.

Oh you live in Texas? I was at Buzzfest at Woodlands last fall to see 10 Years. I'll be returning at the end of the month to see them in Dallas and Houston. Where exactly are you? If you're near one of those cities, come say hey! Sadly I can't make Woodlands and Dallas for Linkubus due to school - I'm already missing the entire first week of fall semester to see the first 6 shows of the tour. Otherwise I'd be there in a heartbeat because Woodlands is an amazing venue. I'm sure Dallas is great too.
Yes. I go back between Houston (summer) and Dallas (school). I'm about an hour south of Houston in one of its many suburbs with miles of farmland in between.
I'll be at the Summit in Jersey and Wantagh so I should see you there.
Yeah the Woodlands is a fantastic venue, but I heard the Dallas one is crap. Also missing the first day of classes for Dallas, so no Woodlands for me

Honestly if you're going to buy the album (which I know a lot of people on this forum already have) then I don't see a problem with listening to a leak.
Though I am going to try with this one. The only leak I listened to was for ATS, and that was because I wanted to know the lyrics before the ATS release concert.
As to the listening parties, it was just a suggestion by Mike. I've listened to all the LP albums alone and enjoyed it, but I do think it would be fun to hang out with other LP fans in my area and celebrate their 5th album. Not saying one is better then the other, but the point of my post was to help other people who don't know LP fans in their area.

So I'm assuming most of you guys have heard of Mike Shinoda Clan? It's a fantastic fansite that updates with a lot of LP info.
Ana, one of the co-owners, decided to try and really take up Mike's challenge and have fans get together and have listening parties all over the world.
She's going to do Houston if there's enough people. I'm going to try and be there too as Houston is the closest to me.
I think its a great idea. Mike described how I usually go about listening to the album, which is by myself and chatting on twitter and this forum. I think it'd be awesome to be with a bunch of other LP fans and just enjoy the music.

Going to the Houston one. There were quite a few in the area. I wonder how many people will be at the theater.
-
I don't joke around people who don't have a place to live, so no, I won't take it easy, and yeah, my knickers are in a knot. Shove it.
I don't think anyone's actually seriously sharing this shit. I shared exactly one link and I'm sitting at 2027 or something according to the "update" email I received yesterday.
Yep. I did it once and am at 1397.
It's frustrating that this contest started after the majority of LPL members probably bought it the first day it was available. I know I did.
Saving all my money for the Summit, otherwise I'd buy another copy.

This is not what I thought it would be. I thought it'd be the best live shows in the HT/Meteora/MTM/ATS eras. But this is really cool. Though a small part of me hoped the ATS one would be the ATS release concert.
-
Not a huge amount of a heads up here. I wonder when they'll post the theaters. Hoping for a Houston one.

Looks like Joe is chatting with LPU members from backstage at 12:15 PT tomorrow.

If the USA doesn't get this setlist, or one VERY close to it, I will sob epic tears. No lie. That was one of the best shows from LP that I've seen in a long time. Amazing amazing amazing. Papercut was sick, LGM sounded really nice live, the medley is EPIC, oh course APFMH and the intro, just wow. This rivals RaR 04 IMO.
Edit: Did mean to say that BID was the low point. Very low. Its not a good live song to me.
-
So happy I got home in time for this. Would have been pissed if I missed the beginning (if the setlist is legit).

I really liked Roads Untraveled! lol. And not so much Until it Breaks. So maybe I have MTM mentality.
