The game trailer looked fantastic!

"Recharge", the new LP game looks absolutely fantastic. I hope someone snagged the trailer. The premise is the "Hybrids" have energy sucking machines in a post apocalyptic world. It will be on facebook around September (estimate).

I think LP is going to play soon.

Looks like the iTunes stream has the correct album time. LP is not making it easy for those of you who are still waiting to listen to the album.

Listened to the album AT LOT more times since my review yesterday.

A lot is the same. I do like BID/LGM more in the context of the album then by themselves.

My two beefs were with Victimized and Until it Breaks.

Victimized- WAY OVERHYPED. I think it killed a bit. But even then it reminds me of a short Given Up. Lots of energy without a lot of substance. Best part is Rob drumming, and for that alone I'd like to see it live. Worst song of the album IMO.

Until it Breaks- This is such a weird song, but I'm beginning to embrace the weird. Or at least I'm not skipping it to get to Tinfoil/Powerless. You have to listen to this more then once (or around 10 in my case) to form a solid opinion of it. I think I'll always prefer if it was 3/4 different songs, but its growing on me now.

Now good things. I couldn't choose a favorite yesterday. I was stuck between LITE/I'll Be Gone/Road Untraveled/ Powerless, with COG/In my Remains a very close second. All really fantastic songs. But I think I'm going to go with Tinfoil/Powerless (because its so much better together). Chester's vocals were amazing.

I also like Skin to Bone, though I can see why it will take a while for it to grow on some people.

So my new album ranking is Meteora, Living Things, Hybrid Theory/ATS (can't choose), MTM.

For those who either didint listen to it or listened to one or two songs, trying not to spoil it for themselves. Stay Strong.. keep it special for when it comes out.. Im here with you jumping off the walls for the 26th to come already..

 

But guys I couldnt help to think.. LP may be testing us, maybe THEY allowed apple to make a small leak.. then again i wouldt put past shinoda for it. i mean think about it.. He hasnt said nothing yet.. no "damage control" meanwhile wasnt "waiting for the end" was leaked by one of the band members

I'd bet money that LP did NOT intend this, and is most definitely not testing the fans. How could they test them anyways? Do we get flagged as "bad fans" for listening, even though a lot of people I know who have preordered the album on the first day and are going to multiple shows?

And now Spotify has pulled the trigger. Bad day for LP.

I think that's just for when the album comes out. It's not streaming for me.

Anyways, been waiting for it to leak forever, I dont see why people are gushing over LITE yet not liking things such as Roads Untraveled, etc I guess there's still a Hybrid Theory mentality around with most fans.

Awesome album.

I really liked Roads Untraveled! lol. And not so much Until it Breaks. So maybe I have MTM mentality.

Only got to listen to the album once, so I don't have too firm an opinion yet.

I like the slower songs after "Victimized". The only one that was extremely out of place to me was Until It Remains. Need another listen but my stream died.

I wonder who just got fired at Apple for that fail.

It sounds like iTunes might have taken it down. So if you're not streaming it now you might not be able to access it.

Say what you want about the DSPs, but Crawling always gets a loud response from the crowd. At the show its great, and the band (and rightly should) think about the audience they're playing for and not the one who's being the DSP afterward.

Though personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Crawling dropped. Numb and In The End have to stay though. Chester still has it with those, and you cannot argue just how loud the crowd gets for these songs. Look at Rock in Rio. Everyone (myself included) was bashing the crowd until Numb started and now it's being argued to be one of their best shows.

It'll be interesting to see what happens.
