ATS is not LP's sound.
Ohh big mistake. ATS has indeed a LP-mark on it.
-
but everyone have to remember: the catalyst premiere of the song was at the beginning of august but the video was released at the end of this month.
so it could be that we can hear the song in april and will see the video in may
The post-production phase always takes long with Linkin Park videos.
-
What? Where?
I think he means the version you can hear when you've finished Medal of Honor.
-
Is this legit? And if yes, how did it get released?

You can hear this in the Making of Meteora DVD. It is LP.
-
You want an anouncement of the anouncement?
-
Curious about Mike's.
-
meh. i think its good they change the LPUTV song each year.
I wasn't quite serious ^^.
-
They should make The Linkin Park Underground Theme Song.
-
Woo Hoo! LP finally beat Bieber!!!
LP will always beat him.
-
Would be funny if the Foo's showed up again.

I asked myself the same question during the Minutes to Midnight era. Before the album or What I've Done was released, this picture (http://madamehunter.com/wp-content/uploads/linkinpark.jpg) was being used in the Linkin Park newsletter. Mike was at the front and Chester in the back, so I thought MtM would feature Mike more.
Someone who disagree's... Tell me, besides being the "lead" singer, what else does Chester do that represents a frontman?
I don't disagree, and I admit that a frontman has to (re)present the band, but appareance is also something. He is/was the frontman of the band in the previous albums and that doesn't mean that he can't be it anymore now Mike is doing more.
-
Depends on how many effects the video contains. The band then had a empty schedule as well but because of the editing and visual effects, the video took a while before it was released.
-
More an alternate version or radio edit than a remix but they gonna release it as the "(Transformers Remix)". This version will be sent to the radios so this version will end up in the video, not the album version.
-
In the trailer, you can hear drums with the pianos, so could it perhaps be a possibility that the song has been reworked (radio edit or such)?
-
Isn't true. Mike said it in a radio interview where he also talked about Chesters recent illness. It's on LPTimes somewhere.

Let's look at some numbers (Mike n Chaz's vocal contributions)

4.Points- Chester (2:21) Mike (1:10)
5.Crawling- Chester (2:50) Mike (0:53)
6.Runaway- Chester (2:15) Mike (0:24)

10.In Between- Mike (2:20)
11.In Pieces- Chester (2:14)
12.Little Things- Chester (3:59) Mike (0:48)
I am really surprised that Mike didn't contribute as much vocals to HT as i thought. But it is still obvious his vocal input is reduced on MTM. A Thousand suns coming up later%
Nice done! But as Blakebeats says, did you count the backing vocals along?
-
I think what he means is that it's official material so it's forbidden to exchange it.
-
I prefer deluxe edition - it's kind of like The Catalyst cover with colors, I can probably put up a pic later.
That would be nice. But there's also a digital cover: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yfaNl3mDz1Y/TFgf...digtalcover.jpg.
But I prefer the deluxe version.
-
And why Epitaph?
-
Is it an idea to put the setlists in the 2010 setlist section in columns so the setlists are more easy to compare? Nice job btw.
-
It would be fine with me if they would pick Iridescent as fourth and last single (though it's again not a energetic one) and moved on with a new album. Not that I dislike A Thousand Suns, but four is pretty decent. Maybe a Transformers single afterwards and then the new album.
-
They were thinking about lyrics, so I don't think a demo with the lyrics "deserts fade into the sky", "violent lullaby" excist.
Don't Stay, LOATR with the finalized lyrics sung by Mike, Reanimation without the rappers and maybe those verses replaced with Mikes or Chesters and the rapping Shadow of the Day would be nice.

And what about Rob?

AllAccess and FMQB are pretty reliable. They're sites for the radio branche, DJ's etc..
