  1. Mike knows how to play the guitar, but I don't think he records them on the albums because Brad is a better guitarist than Mike. But as Aiman points out, it happens to be the case on some songs, and those songs are from Reanimation.

Oh, don't forget about Lockjaw. ;)

  2. One Step Closer (since 2007), Crawling, Pushing Me Away, P5hing, Somewhere I Belong, Easier to Run, Faint, From the Inside, Given Up, Bleed It Out, What I've Done, No More Sorrow, Valentine's Day, In Pieces, The Little Things Give You Away.

    From the albums.

  3. Maybe the new twist on the special editions will be downloadable content?

I swear they were supposed to update the special edition MTM DVD with new downloadable content every so often but never did.

And if the fact that they are texting mixers, picking an album name, playing music for Warner, thinking about special editions of the album, and promising new LPTVs about the new album soon does NOT give you hope that this album is just about finished, I don't know what else Linkin Park can do for you.

I remember that they said about releasing the album in a special way, Joe was working on that. They were very vague about it and I don't know if the idea is still alive. I had to think of this when Mike talked about "the little twist". But unfortunately, I don't have a clue where I read this so I can't come up with a source.

means you keep your fingers crossed because you want your wish to come true..!!

    You're still a noob..you'll understand sometime :P

You don't see a lot of people acting nice to noobs xD

And yeah, the album artwork for Minutes sucked. I missed the drawings from Joe and Mike.

  4. Well whenever this album drops, you can guarantee two things.

    1. The first single will be the song that has the most signature LP sound.

I'm not saying I know that for a fact. Its just a consistent thing that happens with most band's albums.

Of course. Just like Warner insisted that the first single had to bridge the old and the new material (by putting the LP signature sound on it), this time the same will occur.

  5. On that note, why the fuck are people still assessing NRL? I'm so glad it isn't on MTM. TLTGYA ends the album with such an impact that Mike's "time to shine" is inappropriate after the LP epic of TLTGYA. Mike singing lead vocals would not be strong in a live setting, and Chester would have to go backstage and wank or something, because that song would seem to leave him bored.

But NRL should't be the final track of the album, because yeah, then you're fucking up the impact of TLTGYA.

  6. It's all promotion. What would you rather like?

    * A song we've recorded during the Minutes to Midnight session? (for non fans who enjoyed HT and Meteora but hated MtM, this would be a turn off)

    * A brand new Linkin Park song!

    :)
