Not sure about this one but I remember that the piano, vocals and guitar of The Messenger were recorded simultaneously. Although it wasn't a one take because of the gang vocals being recored later on, but perhaps it's one of the rare moments that multiple instruments are done at once.
-
I think it is the first time LP does that. I remember from the making of MtM that Rob's a fan of the non 1/4 time signatures. Every studioalbum since Meteora has one song in 3/4 (From the Inside, Wake/Little Things, Burning in the Skies). But is alternating between 3/4 and 4/4 is equal to a time signature in 7/4?
-
My turn: what is the time signature of the Powerless verses? I'm getting different thoughts everytime I listen it again.
-
Playing at award shows since 2000, but still getting the nerves while they perform the song and making mistakes because of that
-
I think you mean Lockjaw.
-
UK release date is November 29 now.
-
Alternate takes or demoes would be sweet.

The storm behind them makes me think of the bridge from In the End. Also, the transition between the kid to the grown-up version of him is a bit awkward. It could be so much better.

In My Remains acoustic is a surprise. I was thinking that Castle of Glass was an easier song to perform acoustically.
-
What about the covers?
-
Brad played an acoustic in Papercut...Jus sayin'
But that wasn't really a performance video.
-
Yeah because the shootings for LITE were like a month ago and they're shooting a video AGAIN? It would make sense though.
Maybe the setting will be a river bend
-
I find it a pity that they have a lot of material behind the scenes but the half of this episode consists of parts of the trailer.
-
This sounds different, like it's been mixed differently.
-
The newsletter from Warner Netherlands said the new single will drop in July but they wanted to keep it a surprise.
-
Although TLTGYA would be cropped to a version of 3 minutes and something seconds.

And I thought my playlists were big and had a lot of thought put into them... wow that's hardcore!
I came up with this idea when I thought about which was better between Living Things and A Thousand Suns. Why not combine them?
I followed a a very strict policy however to keep all proper transitions of A Thousand Suns intact. It ensures that the album will continue to flow with that epic journey like feeling that ATS is known for.
A THOUSAND LIVING SUNS
The Requiem
The Radiance
Burning in the Skies
Empty Spaces
When They Come for Me
Lost in the Echo
In My Remains
Burn It Down
I'll Be Gone
Robot Boy
Castle of Glass
Lies Greed Misery
Jornada Del Muerto
Waiting for the End
Blackout
Victimized
Wretches and Kings
Until It Breaks
Skin To Bone
Wisdom Justice & Love
Iridescent
Roads Untravelled
Tinfoil
Powerless
Fallout
The Catalyst
The Messenger (?)
The only thing I'm not too sure about is the placement of Burn It Down. It feels too early on Living Things, but it messes with the bottom half of A Thousand Suns. That and I don't know if The Messenger is appropriate anywhere on this list.
Blackout and Victimized together. Cool.

The Guy actually knows lplive
Who doesn't? ^^
-
Cultura24 has obtained permission to play the performance just once, and they will probably do that by a compilation.
-
But Phoenix also trolls, doesn't he?
-
Chester is wearing glasses, so maybe his vision indeed got a throwback and it isn't a fashion statement.
-
But if it WAS real, Warner would have removed it. I really don't believe it.
