In my opinion, that was a pretty terribly-written article. It's nice to have a lottle more info on the album though.

I'll say what I said in the other thread: I doubt it's legit because the source listed doesn't have track times. Somebody just made them up which begs the question--why would somebody make up fake track times? What do they gain by doing something like that?

I expect it to be but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't.

I know it. It's weird a bit call an album like band's name.

 

Everybody calls that album like this, incluiding their members (example: http://www.metallica.com/news/20111110-news.asp ). You want to ask something about Black Album: "Did you listened all songs from Black Album?" sounds better than "Did you listened all songs from Metallica?"

Self-titled albums happen all the time. The official name of the album is Metallica so it's a moot point on whether Black Album is a good title or not because it's not the title of that album.

Jay-Z, however, does have an album named The Black Album.

Absolutely. 'Black Album' is a terrible name for an album and have a terrible cover too but this is one of my favorites Metallica's albums. A classic album.

Remember: Hybrid Theory also has quite a few remixes that aren't listed simply because I could get away with listing them all as Reanimation.

I don't think it will be another electronic album because that's what everyone expects them to do and LP doesn't want to be predictable. I think that it will be a rap album since all the studio footage we've gotten involves rap beats, there were also some tweets from Phoenix and Joe a while back about Joe making beats. This album process also seems to be going a lot faster than usual and we all know Mike can make a great rap record in just a year.
