The instrumentals on this LPU were a little disappointing compared to previous ones (like Pale, Halo, etc.). My favorite tracks this time around are Asbestos and So Far Away.
Asbestos has an awesome flow to it even if Mike is kind of rapping in circles (you know...not really saying anything). I really wish they would have finished this one. Chester could have had a great freak-out chorus in the same vein as Victimized or Blackout.
So Far Away further proves that A Thousand Suns was more like pre-Hybrid Theory album Linkin Park than we would've at first guessed. Some structure variation, Mike singing, etc. It joins Blue, Slip, and She Couldn't as songs that I really didn't expect were made by Linkin Park during that time period. Awesome song.

I haven't listened to everything yet, but Asbestos is my current favorite. I'm going to construct a chorus for it and throw it on Rebirth 4 I think.
-
I'd like to see them do a few acoustic songs. In My Remains full-band acoustic would be awesome.
-
I'm hoping that one of the MTM demos has vocals. WWDK, ATL, and Blackbirds are all awesome. No Roads Left is beyond amazing. MTM easily has the best B-sides of any era.
-
Bunker and Clarity are MTM demos titles which appear in the Making of MTM (when Brad is showing some demos titles) . I don't know about the others
A know a certain forum member who is going to be very happy to hear this.

I'm thinking the LPU12 CD is going to be available at the summit. Online signup will probably happen around the 15th or so.

That remix is amazing! Want Want Want.
That remix has been out for a month. It's the

But FFS, will LP EVER do another rock remix of a song? The last one they did that was even remotely close was Mike's remix of Leave Out All the Rest, which came out like 4 years ago...

I would love a Castle of Glass performance for my birthday.
Or they could surprise everyone and play Until it Breaks.
-
One Step Closer got me into LP 12 years agoo and I've been a fan ever since. Though Hybrid Theory has lost some of its appeal since I was 8 years old, it will always be the album that got my lifelong love of music started. Thanks Linkin Park for making amazing music for me to grow up with and here's to many more great albums from one of my all-time favorite bands.

This is how I feel about Pictureboard. Obviously the band cannot release it since of the copyright. We all know Mike has it, he probably has every single piece of music the band has recorded somewhere. But I don't get why the band can't remove the sample and release it. But I guess maybe that the whole song uses a sample or something. No clue.
Even if he has the song somewhere, he may not actually have the multi-track/recording session anymore and therefore can't just remove the sample.

Anyone think they'll be selling LPU12 CDs at the summit? November is usually when they become available.
-
Cool that we're getting another song with Mike on vocals. I was hoping for at least one more.

Points of Authority with Slip Out the Back verse 2 over the intro, Until it Breaks first section over the outro then Chester sings his bit from UIB and then they play Waiting For the End with the other verse from Until it Breaks and the Wall of Sound outro
-
I really want the Until It Breaks acapella but I can't download iTunes with this android phone.
I just need that to finish my extended Waiting For The End with Apaches intro and wall of sound outro.
-
Only problem with that mashup is that while Given Up is played in Drop D Tuning, Faint is played in Db.
Unless you'd want a long pause in between while Brad and Mike grab different guitars this wouldn't work out so well.
They could just play Given Up a half-step lower or Faint a half-step higher.
-
All three sets this tour have been great, so I don't really care which one it is.
-
I'll bet the bootlegger didn't get LP's consent, so why should they? lol
-
As you said, What I've Done/New Divide would work extremely well.
A-Six into Lies, Greed, Misery would work if Brad didn't have to play the samples on LGM. I think that could be really cool.
I'd also like to see the return of (or a new) hip-hop medley. Maybe they could play part of Fuse if they did this.
-
Hey guys...there's a place in live talk for custom setlists.
-
I guess Crawling has been retired...at least temporarily.
If they can cut Crawling then I guess anything can happen. Maybe we'll eventually see a day where Numb is cut from the setlist. /dream

It didn't include the drums or guitar and I heard piano... that's why I said demo. But who knows.
It was the instrumental portion of the first verse.
