  1. That’s what I think this song was one of the demos they talked about that didn’t make the album early in the sessions, but they revisited, finished, and are now releasing as a bonus single rather than a completely new song for a future album.
  2. I love the ending of "Good Things Go" when the guitars changes and it becomes crunchy and distorted. I definitely was not able to pick this up while listening to the album version before. Now it's so much crisp and clear to hear how it sounds.
  3. I felt so much anxiety watching this with the language barrier but that is amazing how quickly the translator was able to communicate everything with them so instantly for them to reply
  4. This is incredible news! There’s no reason for anybody to pay $100 for a CD in this day and age. I’m happy the band decided to make it a widely general release so that anybody who wants one can get it where the band gets compensated for it and not scalpers.
  5. The purpose of the professional mix is to showcase direct line-in recordings from the instruments, which explains why the crowd noise isn’t captured—the microphones weren’t directed at them.
  6. Ethan Mates does an incredible job mixing these live shows. The audio sounds so good this feels like it could have easily been a bonus track on the digital version along side the others.
  7. $5 is worth it for the album + bonus tracks since I saw qobuz charging $19.39 for the same thing but without the 3 bonus live tracks
  8. The trophy rising during the scream was epic!
  9. US States missing out that aren't getting a listening party: Iowa, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Vermont!
  10. Sounds like it could be used as a prelude/intro version
  11. Just pre-ordered it on Amazon Germany. They ship worldwide, so I had to pay €14 for shipping, still way better than the crazy resale prices out there. Now I’m wondering if these are being mass-produced exclusively for Amazon or if it’s still limited to leftover stock from the tour, since I thought those had all sold out.
  12. This shop adds its own custom side labels to the releases they receive. The same magenta vinyl edition was shipped to a variety of indie stores, so it doesn’t seem like Warner considers this a separate version.
  13. I think this is going to be a perfect track on the album to give a break right after HITC and before Casualty, sort of like an interlude in between the two heaviest tracks on the album.
  14. I appreciate the softer vibe. It's probably going to sound better when listening to the album from start to finish because what I believe to be the heaviest song based on the ending is "Casualty" following right after it.
  15. The guy showing everything mentioned more vinyls coming in a zoetrope style!
  16. Emily mentions a track they were writing in the studio titled "Breathing Underwater" which doesn't appear to be on the final version of the album.
  17. Do you know which video they ended up using to edit from the fan recorded version? I was looking for who the source was but didn't see any credit given to whomever that person was
  18. The sound quality—my god, it’s simply perfection.
  19. Mike in interviews said they were writing music together since 2019 which makes me believe that she contributed to making The Emptiness Machine and the lyrics, but I don’t know why people are trying to discredit her and say she had no input on writing that song. She even has credit on the song wikipedia where it shows songwriters and her name is there.
  20. It’s amazing how he said they met Emily and were playing since 2019! Pre pandemic and they were already doing sessions writing music together. This was all before the whole Mike Shinoda solo thing too where I would’ve never believed Linkin Park would come back after he started doing that.
  21. It's been a long 7 years and I'm so excited. A lot of questions will be answered and hopefully we get a clearer picture of what's to come in the near future after tomorrow is all set and done.
  22. That's a good point. I never actually thought about that but when exactly was their last interview? I remember Mike was doing tons of media for that. Howard Stern, Apple Music, etc. But then after that it was the whole Already Over sessions for the rest of the year, then we got the Papercuts Greatest Hits hype back in April, but has it really been no interviews since the Meteora 20 release?
  23. It's not for nothing. After 100 hours we got the hint for a 9/5 date. Then they released the LPU newsletter for the event and now 200 hours later it's 100% confirmed we are getting a live stream of the event on 9/5.
  24. What venue is it at?
  25. I was thinking of it as the time of announcement 13:35 = 1:35pm on 9/5
