  1. The album is strong but my fear is will it stand the test of time ? Will I be listening to, say, Stained or OEO (my least fav songs) in 5 years ? I mean, THP is my least fav record by the band but I still do enjoy listening even to my least fav songs off of it from time to time after a decade, I hope it will be the case of FZ too. So far I try to calm my hype for a new LP record and I stay on a 7/10. Super solid record, I never thought we would see a new LP album in the first place, not to mention i did not expect it to be THAT good and that big, so it'as already a dream.
  2. In other news the album sold more than 250k worldwide first week, we are on the level of THP and OML, amazing results. A rock band almost 20 years past their “golden age” comes back without their iconic singer and they go Top 3 in almost every country in the world. We are so back
  3. Curious to see what you got
  4. I honestly feel and hear elements of Victimized, War and KTTK in Casualty
  5. I am not as negative as you but I can kinda see why you think like this, both songs are lesser versions of something the band already did (Faint with GU scream and War/Victimzed). I don’t think these 2 songs will age gracefully, but I do enjoy them today
  6. Totally agree, plus OML is shorter and more packed even tho soft, you have energetic songs like GG, TTM and SFN
  7. Let’s try HT ATS Meteora LT = FZ OML MTM THP Extremely conflicted about MTM, if it was an EP with the first 6 songs + NMS it’d probably be #4 or #3 ex aequo but the second half is something I hardly ever find myself coming back to. FZ position could change (maybe a little lower) but I really like it, short and energetic full of bangers
  8. I loved the acoustic performances of OML promo tour, very intimate. But I admit I missed the excitement of rocky LP
  9. A bit of Xero/HTEP and abit of By Myself/Figure 09
  10. This is so much fun. When Mike spoke about searching for chemistry it's pretty clear what he meant
  11. After many repetaed listens these are my brief thoughts: Ranking of the songs so far: 1 Overflow 2TEM 3 GTG 4 CTB 5 IGYEIH 6 HITC 7 TF 8 Casualty 9 OEO 10 Stained The album serves as a "hey, we are back! Do you remember us ?" It's a good record, could go on par with the last portion of their discography quality wise, concept wise it's very LT-esque in the way it sums up various eras of the band. I love it, but I hope, as some others said here, next records will be more about experimenting and exploring new stuff than coming back to the origins and fusing the prevoius albums. Overall I'm super excited and it's a 7,5/10. Feels good to be back
  12. Yeah totally, especially the demo version of By Mysel with Mike whisperinh "so what do you say?" in the beginning. But yeah major Figure 09 and OSC vibes too
  13. I kinda hear By Myself too. I love the goofy vibes of all the soing and video ahah
  14. Self parody at its best ahah. Song is fun it’s like by myself 2.0
  15. https://www.kerrang.com/album-review-linkin-park-from-zero-mike-shinoda-emily-armstong
  16. Overflow is really something else, very interesting record, need more replays
  17. Only listened to the intro and casualty. I don’t like Casualty, blunt mess Mike sound badly weird
  18. Wow 64? I was never a big fan of the song to say the least so … okay
  19. Casualty seems to be like War + KTTK + Victimized type of song and I cannot wait for the studio version. Glad to see AFN being debuted live even tho I was never big on that song and Page Hamilton sounded … well… not great
  20. Yeah as an intro to the album version would be great
  21. This is soooo Bad Omens- esque. I fucking love it
  22. I’ll be gone and STB were never played live toon
  23. So which trak are you excited the most for you people ?
  24. Would you be so kind, my friend ? 👀
