Yeah it was due out April, so if Anything Anything is dropping in June I don’t think the album is coming earlier than October

I was expecting something album related, but as I said the album is coming end of the year so it’s super early to get tracklist/release date info. But I’m glad we’re hearing Anything Anything in a month

Big news for Grey Daze fans, the band announced that the re-work of “Anything Anything” will be part of the DC cartoon Dark Nights: Death Metal Soundtrack, coming on June 18th. Members of the band will voice some characters too. Are we gonna hear "Anything Anything" soon? Is that the "big announcement" coming tomorrow? To me he probably doesn’t think this is the right time for LP to come back but he doesn’t feel complete as a solo artist too, otherwise he’d have put out another studio album for sure, and we know that he clearly doesn’t want to, he said it. He’s happy with his production stuff and his once in a while song like Open Door or HE, and he’s trying to figure out what he wants to do now on a bigger scale I guess

LP will probably be back, maybe not SO soon but they’re coming back I think

Yeah am I wrong or even SOTD went super big on both radio and charts despite being like the 3rd single, in the same way as on Meteora/HT ITE and Numb were super big despite being the 3rd single? I mean the biggest single on ATS was WFTE but (sadly, because it’s super awesome) it didn’t reach half of the success of stuff like SOTD or BIO

MTM singles are a lot bigger than ATS singles in terms of popularity among the occasional fans. Stuff like WID, BIO LOATR and SOTD were (and are) a lot more popular than The Catalyst, WFTE or Iridescent among the occasional LP listeners 😊

Yeah chart wise it didn’t do that well but I remember the song all over on the radio and on MTV, it was pretty massive, in Italy is one of the best known songs by the band among the occasional fans

Yeah MTM is their best charting record, and WID was more successful than, say, Papercut or OSC or SIB and Faint chart-wise

Yeah but the singles were super big too.

Their peak in terms of commercial success was between 2001 and 2009, MTM was super huge and got #1 in basically every country where it came out, things began to go commercially “”worse”” with ATS, with a huge drop in sales compared to MTM 😊
