    Early Entry

Well it didn't work in the US that way. I may have been a little pissed off because I waited for about 6 hours, was in the front of the LPU Early Entry line, and still didn't get front row, but it's whatever.
  2. It would be cool if LP played live with him and they did ALTNC. I don't want anymore LP and Steve stuff, though. One song is more than enough.
  3. Pretty good chat. I wonder why Mike didn't want to answer the question about LOATR, probably because he doesn't like to tell people what his lyrics are about. Anyways, the last part of the interview is awesome. Mike has definitely been listening to some decently heavy stuff.. I hope it influences the next LP a little bit, I don't want a soft album, or a EDM influenced album. But he pretty much confirmed that the next LP album won't sound like ALTNC here.

    Early Entry

You only get in a few minutes earlier than the regular public. For example, I had 'early entry' for SMMF a few months back and I still didn't get the front row, because they had other exclusives lines and stuff like that, they got to go inside earlier than the LPU even. Early entry can be cool, but sometimes people will unknowingly line up in the LPU line, or LPU people will line up in the public line, etc, and then people get confused and stuff like that. It was simple when there was just one line for everything and whoever got there earliest got the front row.

    Early Entry

I think the early entry thing is stupid, it just makes it a big clusterfuck of different lines, people in the wrong line, etc. I miss the good old days when it was first come, first serve basis to get to the front of the stage. It was like that from 2007-2011 and they started doing early entry in 2012 and continued it with 2013.
  6. It comes out in November.
  7. I ordered the High Rise CD/DVD from Japan, it shipped on the 8th, I should be getting it in the mail soon. I will check and see what it is. I think it has been confirmed that it's just the EPK and Out Of Time teaser.
  8. I think I'm just going to call everything a demo that wasn't on a main album/ND/ALTNC/WMI.
  9. Thank you Skipees.
  10. To be fair, the only MTM songs that I count as b-sides are Across The Line, What We Don't Know and Blackbirds. Technically, you could classify Pretend To Be, Not Alone and Debris all as ATS demos, because they were worked on after 2007.
  11. Does anyone know the exact number of DSP's that we got?
  12. I just hope the touring cycle for this album is good. The reason that the LT touring cycle didn't please fans was because LP went about it all wrong. They say that they want to tour less and release music faster, which is doable and understandable. However, they should plan the touring cycle better. They should make an effort to play each place once per album cycle. For example. One US tour, with a couple Canadian dates thrown in. One European tour, including the UK and everyone else. One Asian tour, including all the typical places they play in Asia. One Australia/NZ tour, including all the typical places they play there. One tour in South America, including all the places they typically play there. One tour for other places, like South Africa, the Middle East, etc. If they did this, they could do it all in about a year or so and be done with it, pleasing everyone. No need to hit up places multiples times and exclude some places entirely, like they did with the UK last cycle. North America Tour: Summer 2014 South America Tour: Fall 2014 Misc Places + Australia/NZ Tour: Late Fall/Early Winter 2014 Europe Tour: Early Summer 2015 (Hitting up major Summer festivals and their own shows) Asia Tour: Summer/early Fall 2015
  13. I just realized that we never got a proper b-side for any album except for MTM. I don't count the 1997/1998/1999 demos as demos for Hybrid Theory. High Voltage (Reprise) and My December weren't b-sides, either. Meteora demos that we have are all just demos of songs from the album, or instrumental demos that never got much work done past that point. I Have Not Begun technically could be a Thousand Suns demo, but it doesn't seem it to me, it seems more of a thing Mike made to do with the Roots back in 2009 on stage. We have got nothing from LIVING THINGS, yet. But we sure have tons of MTM stuff, which I guess is only natural since they wrote an insane amount of stuff for that album and worked on it for years.
  14. I am still thinking maybe a late spring/early summer release for the next LP album, I think that is the most realistic assumption. Maybe the first single will drop in March or April, and the album following a month or so later.
  15. The band likes to prove that they like to make all different types of music, and they have covered a lot of different types over the years (not always albums, but certain songs cover them). For example, LP wanted to do folk, and while LT wasn't a folk sounding album, they did COG, RU and STB which originally was just a folk song on guitar. What I am getting at is that they have yet to make a ''hardcore'' or ''metal'' song up until this point. They have teetered on the edge in the past, but never fully made one. I think if they are doing a lot of screaming vocals and Mike has been listening to punk and metal, we may get at least ONE song like that. Mike usually listens to music for inspiration when writing LP albums. He listened to the Smithsonian collection of folk music while writing Living Things, and I know he listened to a lot of classic rock and alternative during the making of MTM, as well as old school hip-hop. Anyone get what I am saying? This could be the LP album for the metal fans of LP.
  16. I'll just do my favorite performances of the LT songs LITE: Summer Sonic Pro-Shot 2013 IMR: Bristow DSP 2012 BID: Third Encore Session 2012 LGM: Third Encore Session 2012 COG: VGA's 2012 or SSMF 2013 Victimized: Mansfield DSP 2012 TINFOIL: Camden 2012 DSP or Bucharest 2012 DSP
  17. Does anyone have an mp3 rip of this??
  18. 01. Homecoming (Minutes To Midnight Demo) 02. What We Don't Know (Unreleased Demo 2007) 03. Across The Line (Unreleased Demo 2007) 04. Qwerty (Studio Demo) 05. Blackbirds 06. Pretend To Be (Unreleased Demo 2008) 07. Asbestos (Minutes To Midnight Demo) 08. Debris (Minutes To Midnight Demo) 09. Announcement Service Public 10. Bang Three ('What I've Done' Original Demo)
  19. Those lyrics sound very Xero-ish. Cool find, though.
  20. Not to sound negative, but I highly doubt it. I think they will keep the 'singles' off of LT at best, and still keep all the old singles they've been playing from old albums, and add in the first single from the new album, as well as potential singles from that album. I think they will only keep LITE, BID and COG. Maybe LGM, because for some reason, the band either loves playing it live, or they think the fans love to hear it played live.
  21. There will probably only be 3 songs or so that make the cut that have screaming in them. They did that with MTM and LT, and ATS only had Blackout. As lame as it is, I highly doubt LP will make a heavy record. They'd probably be too afraid that they wouldn't get mainstream radio airplay, or the label might get mad or something. LP should make a heavy record, I have no idea why in the world they haven't yet. Hell, even one really heavy song would do it. Victimized would have been that song but they included an entire singing part, as well as a rap verse in it. Qwerty was pretty heavy, but again, had rapping and the studio version turned down the heaviness of the Summer Sonic '06 version insanely. Hmm. All this talk that Chester is saying about screaming on the new LP album has me very intrigued, but I highly doubt the rest of the band would be ok with making a heavy album, like I said. I wish Mike would just be like ''let's make a heavy album'' and actually do it.
  22. Agreed. Do you mean lyrically? They said Out Of Time was about coming to a crossroads in your life where it comes time to make a decision. They said Black Heart was about a serial killer, and how girls keep falling for him, and he kills them. I am pretty sure that Tomorrow is about Chester being away from his loved one's on long tours. I also think Cry Cry could be about addiction. Not sure about Same On The Inside.
  23. Thank you Jonas. Black Heart sounds good acoustic, I didn't think it would. I absolutely LOVE Pretty Penny.
  24. Definitely agree with this. I've seen tons of bands live and been to a lot of shows, but nothing ever compares to Linkin Park shows.
  25. No, just Black Heart and Pretty Penny, they sounded great though. I hope someone can rip this, the songs at least.
