  1. I totally wish that it was performed like on the album as well. I've always thought that. But this is an extremely unpopular opinion here.
  2. ''Even the name is fucking stupid, with the stupid umlauts'' - CB
  3. This is the version I was talking about, he yells ''fuck top 40'' LOL. The other performances you can hear it but not as well.
  4. Songs We Need To See More Of: High energy songs in the set, not all just singles. Songs The Band Has Been Nailing Live: Lies Greed Misery, Points Of Authority, Castle Of Glass, One Step Closer, What I've Done Songs That Should Admittedly Take A Break: Numb, New Divide, Ballad Medley, Burn It Down Songs That Would Be Gladly Welcomed Back: No More Sorrow, When They Come For Me Since The Hunting Party will have a bunch of high energy rock songs that are super heavy, LP needs to get rid of some of the slower stuff that just wouldn't fit well with The Hunting Party tracks. Mid tempo rockers like What I've Done can stay, but do away with Ballad Medley and New Divide and shit. Burn It Down kind of sucks live because Chester can't really nail the chorus very well ever, so that is why I said that. Numb is just tiresome, I wanted to see a piano version but they never did that, and it wouldn't go well with The Hunting Party tracks, IMO. The band nails stuff like Lies Greed Misery, Points Of Authority and One Step Closer. They also do good on Castle Of Glass, IMO, keep that one. What I've Done always sounds good, IMO. Maybe replace Given Up with Keys To The Kingdom since it seems that it will be of the same nature (lots of screaming and guitar riffs) plus it contains ''fuck'' in the chorus just like Given Up does. Give Given Up a much needed break, if so. I would LOVE to see No More Sorrow and When They Come For Me back in the set, the band does well on those and I miss them.
  5. Never noticed that with Step Up. Wow. You can definitely tell it's edited on both HTEP & SIB Single. I just listened to a performance of Step Up from 2002 and Chester yells ''fuck top 40'' clearly. Thanks for sharing that.
  6. Haha thank you. The LPU 13 shit was so frustrating!! I am going to wait at least 15 mins after the pre-order is up to make sure everything goes right.
  7. That was a fanmade cover.
  8. What do you mean? Lol.
  9. Nice. Waiting for the LP.com pre-order like I usually do. I'd probably even pre-order on iTunes (US) if they gave us a download of Until It's Gone.
  10. Too confusing. I just hate all nu-metal, because it sucks, IMO. I only like Hybrid Theory & Meteora.
  11. Nice that this album has a confirmed DVD now... thank god. I hope the pre-order is like a CD/DVD + shirt combo or something.
  12. I think the only guest vocals will be from Rakim & Page Hamilton. I think Daron Malakian & Tom Morello will just be instrumental guests, which is fine, IMO. They are great guitarists and are more known for their guitar work than vocals. Page Hamilton is the lead singer of Helmet so that is probably why he is doing vocals.
  13. He said that he hates nu-metal and he always felt like there were a few bands (including LP) that he didn't think fit in the category of nu-metal. I am willing to bet Deftones was one of them.
  14. Seriously.. I agree. So annoying.
  15. Also, it makes soccer moms, 11 year olds and radio less likely to play the tracks if there is profanity.
  16. I like the words fuck and shit a lot.
  17. Great news. Was disappointed that LT didn't have any swearing.
  18. I actually heard GATS on the radio a few times too, I've never heard The Catalyst or any of the ATS singles on the radio.
  19. Nice interview. I agree with what he said about ATS & LT. LT did have some great songs on it and I do feel like it was necessary for LP to make it, whether the fans liked it or not.
  20. There really isn't anything wrong with the poppy fans. LP have always made mostly radio friendly songs and a lot of pop-rock type stuff. Really, only ATS kind of steered away from that. This album kind of reminds me of the ATS attitude but with a different direction, a heavy rock and metal direction. Until It's Gone sounds like an exceptional song, might be one of my favorite tracks on the album. Keys to the Kingdom... that track I feel like will be my favorite based off of the descriptions alone. I also can't wait to hear All For Nothing with Page of Helmet and Mark The Graves.
  21. I actually like them. I've liked all the lyrics LP have done, honestly. I don't need super intricate lyrics or anything like that in the music that I love. I can also relate to lyrics about a failed relationship a lot.
  22. Great review... Derek is awesome for doing this. I cannot wait for this album... I can't say it enough!!!
  23. So maybe they won't even play Dreamland or Killing Fields or not play some of the DTA tracks? Maybe.
  24. That we know of so far. I wouldn't rule out that Warrior didn't simply become War, though.
  25. It seems the amount of assholes posting fake news and making up rumors has been twice the amount or more for this album cycle.
