JZLP-Benningstrong Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 c'mon!! let's donate and get a ticket for a LPLive reporter!! Quote
[AndOne] Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Pooch posted a picture of his battle station. My Generation - The Who Like A Rolling Stone ... Quote
Geki Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Maybe if Pooch is there, we will get an audio release! It'd make sense for them to release it on iTunes that way people will pay for it and all money could be donated to the cause!!! Quote
[AndOne] Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Yeah I was thinking about that too, but I guess he's just mixing. Quote
Jgrosk Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 From the pick I can pick out The Who - My Generation Bob Dylan - Like A Rolling Stone Oasis - Wonder Wall I can't make out the last three but we know one is a Beatles song and one is David Bowie. I hope Pooch being there means that its getting recorded. Quote
lgr Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Pooch's attendance doesn't necessariyl mean it's being recorded. that aspect of what we've come to enjoy from LP is more dependant on the gear he's brought with him... Pooch mixing the show for the audience doesn't therefore mean he'll be mixing it for a release. sucks but... Quote
[AndOne] Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Yes but on the other hand, why fly Pooch in all the way from Texas just to mix a few song any other guy could do too. Quote
Astat Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Figured out everything except the last song (which is presumably the Beatles cover): My Generation Like a Rolling Stone Wonderwall Friday I'm in Love (The Cure) Suffragette City (David Bowie) ??? Suffragette City was a given as soon as he said he'd be doing something by David Bowie, he's done that one numerous times before. Quote

Suffragette City was a given as soon as he said he'd be doing something by David Bowie, he's done that one numerous times before. He did Suffragette City with B.O.W. before, but never Camp Freddy. He also did Wonderwall with BOW, that should be interesting. I would KILL to have a rip of this shit. Quote

Pez Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Yes but on the other hand, why fly Pooch in all the way from Texas just to mix a few song any other guy could do too. Its the same reason they fly him everywhere else in the world. When your happy with your audio engineer and the way he mixes your shows, then you'll want him to mix all of your shows, regardless of how big or small the set is. Quote

[AndOne] Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I get that reason totally, my idea behind that was just, it's a charity event, the goal is to collect as much money as possible. Pooch probably worked for free, who knows. Quote
lgr Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Bet 5 bucks it gets recorded for either a special itunes charity release, or mfr release a small number got their hopes up that the DBS performance from last year could get recorded and released. but look what happened to that dream Quote
Geki Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 a small number got their hopes up that the DBS performance from last year could get recorded and released. but look what happened to that dream It's a damn shame that last year's DBS performance and this year's Camp Freddy performance won't get released. These are all good songs, with good artists and it would be really cool to have. I would have no problem paying for it because it would donate to the cause. Quote
gorast Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I'd prefer for last year DBS show to be released as opposed to this performance, really. But either one would certainly be nice. Quote

Yeah... acoustic DBS songs (orgasm) and also Julien-K songs and The Messenger. Awesome little set. But thsi year's set was also awesome. I've ALWAYS wanted a HQ version of Wonderwall and Suffragette City by Chester. Quote
Sucre06 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I am so wonder what song Chester covered by Beatles. Maybe that was "Yesterday" or "Let It Be" or "Hey Jude". ? I wanna know it. Quote
hahninator Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I'll get a setlist for you guys from Pooch. Stay tuned Quote
Sucre06 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) I'll get a setlist for you guys from Pooch. Stay tuned It's great. cant wait.and what about to get DSP from this show from Pooch ? EDIT: This version of "Burn It Down" is performed by Cardon Children's Medical Center in honor of your support and dedication to the hospital. Mending a broken heart requires a blend of compassion, creativity and clinical excellence. With your generosity, we are excited to launch the Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Cardon Children's Medical Center and help children of all ages survive and thrive. "For me," Chester Bennington of Linkin Park says, "the best part of doing these benefits is when you're at the event and you see all these people really excited about contributing and then watching the hospital grow. This place didn't even exist four years ago. And now it's the epicenter of care for all these children. Four years ago, they would've been sent to another state. They would have to be turned away because there wasn't enough room in the one floor that was here before. So this has really become quite an amazing place for these kids."
