I don't know, i find longer encores are a bit too much... couldn't stand the double encore the band did back in 07-08. when I'm at a show I often find I get bored by about an hour in... and long encores don't help, i personally become aware of the fact that I can go home and sleep quality not quantity in my eyes Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
marzo23 Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 quality not quantity in my eyes yeah... but the shows in 2011 didnt lose their quality. i was in leipzig and hamburg 2011 and at both shows LP had more energy as in 2009 and 2010. so i think... but this year i saw them at Rock Im Park without an encore.. that was also nice and 2 days later in Berlin. but the encore only was 12 minutes... and the power wasnt so much.... i like when the encore starts with an quiet song like PMA(piano in 2008) or WJL/iridescent in 2010/11 and than 4 powersongs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They should play an hour, take a 15 minute break, and come back for another hour set. 311 did this on their Winter tour last year and it was great!
