Mycophycophyta Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 No one seemed to comment on the fact that Chester came out wearing a fedora hat and Joe was wearing a ninja mask the entire show. Joe put the mask on right after the M&G, I think for the LPU chat. For the soundcheck the didn't get all the way through Blackout all three times and they started Faint but didn't even get to the verse. One question asked was what they'd do if they weren't musicians. Chester said a real estate agent, I can't remember what Brad said but it was funny, and Mike said he'd work for Brad. Someone asked what the whole ATS artwork with the animals and stuff and Mike said that it was abstract just like that album was abstract, said the tiger obviously wasn't literal. Brad said he thought the tiger was literal. Mike seemed to shake the most hands at the M&G don't know if he offered his hand more or if people made the effort more with him. He was the only one who used hand sanitizer afterward and he rushed to it. Had a small conversation with Phi, Mike, and Joe. Conversation ended with Joe insisting I was from Canada because I told Mike I was from Northern Michigan. Brad and Rob were friendly, but Chester was complaining to one of the roadies about how much Lake Michigan stank. The whole thing was just surreal to me.
