Mystery Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 (edited) If you were to create a six-track EP for a friend who isn't a fan of Linkin Park or hasn't heard much of their music, using any song from the FOUR STUDIO ALBUMS to represent their sound or even just personal favorites, which would you choose? It has to be six tracks. We all know somebody is going to use the interludes or short tracks as a joke, so hopefully that one post gets out of the way early. Here is mine: 01. In The End 02. From The Inside 03. Hands Held High 04. In Pieces 05. Blackout 06. The Catalyst I would put The Messenger, because it's my favorite song from them, but, it doesn't represent their sound. linkin_boss Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I would say Papercut Bleed It Out Iridescent What I've Done The Catalyst In The End i guess that sums pretty much sums what lp is and what they do Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) 1. Session 2. Figure.09 3. Leave Out All the Rest 4. Jornada Del Muerto 5. Waiting for the End 6. Pushing Me Away I decided to do something that I thought would flow well and also be a good representation of the band by using heavy, soft, instrumental, and interlude tracks and including material from all four albums. If I were to include b-sides it would look like this: 1. Session 2. One Step Closer 3. Blackbirds 4. Jornada Del Muerto 5. Waiting for the End 6. The Little Things Give You Away Edited December 2, 2010 by leftshoe18 Quote
