DeepestBlue Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 i would want to see lp cover this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDwNyPonJWs LMFAO!! But on a serious note, I want LP to cover a Nirvana song possibly. Or it would be interesting to see what they could do with a Rage Against the Machine song. Quote
gtrnowak4tkd Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Shots by LMFAO would be a funny song to see LP cover. Quote
auburntiger Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 "Prayer of the Refugee" by Rise Against Quote
anjum Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Kansas - Dust In The Wind Really? Back in the day when i was a n00b, i had it named as an LP song. Ironical. Quote
linkin_boss Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Killswitch Engage- End Of Heartache (Mike on clean vocals, Chester screaming)... as if XD +1 definitively Quote
toness Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Any Killswitch Engage song would be awesome but I would really like to hear a RATM cover Quote
arbiter Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 None. I'd rather they add more of their own songs to the setlist. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 They should cover the first half (up through the first chorus) of Lights in the Sky by Nine Inch Nails over the Numb piano outro transitioning into Iridescent. That would be amazing. Or heck, even doing that little cover of Just Like Heaven by The Cure that Mike used to do after Numb and have that transition into Iridescent. I think it would just be a cool idea to sing parts of songs over the Numb piano outro. Maybe they could switch it up like Points of Authority's rap intros. Quote
BeardyWilderness Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 NIN - Hurt. Mike solo! Piano version. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 NIN - Hurt. Mike solo! Piano version. I love Mike and I love Mike's vocals, but if they were to cover Hurt, I think Chester could do the song more justice than Mike could. He's definitely the one with the more powerful voice and the chorus of Hurt needs to be sung with that powerful voice. Quote
RiderSSPU Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) they should cover Blink-182- Asthenia Rise Against- Life Less Frightening Hollywood Undead- Young Edited September 25, 2010 by LinkinParkFan4Ever Quote
LPUemo360 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 WOW this is hard!!! lmfao but i think.... Muse--Uprising there fav. rap song xD Korn--Freak on a Leash Hey Jude--The Beatles Bulls On Parade--RATM BUT do ALL the songs in like a ATS style format XD Quote
bajrussell Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Not sure if this is the proper thread for this, but I would really like for the next LPU cd to be about 6 covers. We've had the demos, the live stuff, the silly stuff. I would love to have some of the songs everyone has listed be Linkin Parkified and included on the next LPU cd. Quote
Jats Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) Ain't gonna happen, but that one would be dope. Edited May 15, 2012 by Jats Quote
bajrussell Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 NIN-Hurt Helmet - Unsung Beastie Boys - Sabotage Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence AC/DC - Highway to Hell Public Enemy - Bring the Noise Quote
lgr Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Alibi - 30STM (Mike on verses, Chester on chorus) Bother - Stone Sour Broken Hands - Hundred Reasons We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan - Lostprophets (becuase they could kill on this song) and for the sheer brilliance, I would love to see them cover Nobody - Skindred Quote
