I think I like LTF more than Unshatter overall. Mike's parts give me big P.O.D. vibes for some reason (not a bad thing). I like the way Mike's and Emily's vocals complement each other, and that bridge was simple yet effective for me.

Interesting they went with Casualty from Bogota instead of the really long debut one from Arlington which was a really cool performance.

 

The hype right now on the band is Up From the Bottom, Good Things Go, and Overflow live - hopefully they get around to putting those out. These are good performances for sure of these songs but 3 of them were already released 6 months ago. This is tailored for sure for the casual fan because of that, lol.

 

Would love to see them keep going with the live videos on YouTube + then put all of those out digitally for the LPU or for sale at the end of the year, or add to streaming on From Zero Live or something. We definitely need the tour highlights: From the Inside, Lost, Good Things Go, Overflow, Cut the Bridge, IGYEIH, and all of that. Let's see what they do by the end of the year. The Brazil show is sadly missing literally all of that but has My December, Friendly Fire, Keys to the Kingdom, Lost in the Echo and the 2024 highlights in it so we'll get those as a start. Looking forward to that release.

 

Up From the Bottom is the best new song in this release to me. Unshatter and Let You Fade are maybe the weakest songs in the entire From Zero song batch to me but it's good to see them trying so many genres and styles with Emily right off the bat - a good sign for the future.

I will buy the cd, but how am i going to listen to the live tracks in my phone with my other music

It's a shame they put only 5 live songs on there (and we already have 3 of them), around 70 minutes of music can fit on a CD, right? Unfortunately, everything is subordinated to vinyl, 3 or 4 vinyls instead of 2 would probably be too expensive

its a shame that Overflow, Good Things and My December are only available if you rip the low quality youtube audio.

 

i need them in full quality...

 

also it sucks that the video version of COG is not available anywhere, i love that version wish it had a proper audio release.

yeah I have some local files but it's not the same, for example on another smart device. it's a solution but not ideal, and I don't know why they don't release live songs everywhere

if I had to gripe, I’m not keen on how the lyrics have been laid out, breaking across pages. But overall it’s a really nice premium feeling package.

what you call bridge it isn't like an actual bridge, its a moment in which the song breathes, the calm before the storm, such a peaceful and beautiful moment. 

 

this song makes me think about Chester and my daughter.

 

it doesn't sound like any band it isnt generic I love Mike singing over heavy guitars.

 

Emily in a support role feels good.

I’d recommend it. The LP.com version just feels like a more finished premium package. 

 

Looking at the standard version unboxing on YouTube, it’s nowhere near as deluxe. No O card, the CDs are loose in the gatefold pockets rather than in individual sleeves, and the booklet is slipped in with a disc instead of stuck inside the gatefold.
