Knowing the band wanted to keep FZ very short on purpose, they probably kept many of the other tracks with the intent of making them shine later on. In that sense, I feel this track and upcoming others may fit a bit less the traditional b-side definition ("leftover from the sessions"), and have more of a "this is the next big thing" quality. 

 

I hope it's a new single for a new album. The vibe of the track is totally new and different. does not fit with FZ sound.

Happy to be proven wrong, but I’d be surprised if it’s a new album. Given they’ve just started on the From Zero tour cycle. I’d bet a deluxe edition or ep, akin to Post Traumatic. 

 

…though having said that Coldplay released Moon Music and they’re still on the apparently never ending Music of the Spheres tour.

If they would name it part 2, Two , (from zero) ...to something, still it could be From Zero World Tour. Who knows. Knowing that mike has not been idle in the studio for 7 years everything could happen.

hahaha, never ending tour. it’s true tho. But if im not mistaken, Moon Music originally the part 2 of MOTS. But they changed the album name. Hence, that’s why they still touring under MOTS tour.

The more I listen to the song, the more I feel like it was written as a response to Jaime’s shenanigans. Especially the bridge verse, sounds like his description.

I caved and listened to the leak. I really like it. It sounds super fresh for Linkin Park. I love how aggressive and uptempo it is without really going heavy - reminds me a bit of In Pieces in that way. I really like that little instrumental break after the bridge. I really don't understand the Paramore comparisons. It doesn't really sound anything like them.

He's one of the only people I have blocked on Instagram. I just can't.

 

Once he went to see LP live and, in response to Mike saying that the band isn't trying to erase the past, started screaming "AHHH! YOU'RE USING MY WORDS AGAINST ME, BITCH!" I was done.
