Shifter Posted February 26 Posted February 26 It's a delight, thanks a lot to the band and to you! Quote

martinez Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Acapellas + Instrumentals out now: https://www.qobuz.com/nz-en/album/from-zero-a-cappellas-instrumentals-linkin-park/yikplpgrdc6jc Quote
capoofan3 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I enjoyed the instrumental album. I’ve been waiting for this since the album came out. It’s great! Quote
Stewe Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I can't wait to hear it. From Zero instrumental released on the same day as the birthday of my new best friend. Very fitting Quote

solidss Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I love the ending of "Good Things Go" when the guitars changes and it becomes crunchy and distorted. I definitely was not able to pick this up while listening to the album version before. Now it's so much crisp and clear to hear how it sounds. Quote
NimaLP Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Listening to the acapella and instrumental versions of Overflow is a whole different experience. Quote
Bebro Posted February 28 Posted February 28 My highlights: Stained, IGYEIH, Cut The bridge, Over Each other which i don't like that much but it has interesting choices in the back. Quote

vinifeijo Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The production level in this band is an absurd. Everything is pristine. Quote
YRQRM0 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Over Each Other is such a tight track, very cool to hear the bones of it. It’s such a vocally driven song, and yet the instrumental is so fun to listen to and that big side chained synth in HITC is something I never really noticed or appreciated, very cool Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Does anyone feel like GTG and IGYEIH are like part 1 and part 2? Quote
MMM Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) If LP still want to work with guys from outside the band (like past 2 albums), they should bring back Elisondo as additional producer. His sample in HITC and huge amount of layers in Overflow production is so cool and refreshing. After hearing OEO instrumental I think it was written in OML style. First lyrics, melody then instrumental. Stained drums is similar to Debris Edited February 28 by MMM Quote
martinez Posted February 28 Posted February 28 IGYIMH sounds like an alternate version or remix of Casualty and vice-versa. Nothing interesting on those IMO. The best from all will be OEO and GTG. I already listened to TEM official instrumental a hundreds of time, so I don't have to tell that's it's really great too. Quote
vinifeijo Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Can't wait for the documentary of this recording cycle! Uncovering how those songs started and built into the final pieces. Quote
LPLStaff Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 The trailer for the instrumentals that LP posted on social media... they definitely need to be posting more in-studio footage from making the album. Maybe there is something attached to the new release of the Brazil show related to that. Let's see. But it looks like the band was recording a LOT of stuff even way back at Mike's home studio when things were first like legitimately moving with Emily. Quote
