LPLStaff
The lineup for Sick New World in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 12, 2025 has dropped and features Metallica, Linkin Park, and many more bands. This is expected to be the first of many 2025 concert dates announced for Linkin Park on the From Zero World Tour.
LeonardoMF93
We're starting to see the first 2025 dates. Are there other festivals around the same time in the US to suggest they will do a festival tour? It's unlikely to imagine a festival show during an individual tour. I'm curious to know where they’ll start their tour next year, since it’s unlikely it will end up being just in April. Another thing... What an incredible lineup. Metallica, Linkin Park, Queens of the Stone Age, and Evanescence on the same day is unbelievable Edited October 15 by LeonardoMF93
Qwerty18
That's a crazy line-up, damn.
RogueSoul
What a lineup. Only problem with this festival is, how can you possibly keep making this sort of lineup a one-day event 😂

leftshoe18
I always get excited when I see artists they've collaborated with on the bill with them. Fingers crossed for Daron to come out and do Rebellion with them again. Edit: Just noticed Seven Hours After Violet is on here, too. Half of System of a Down will be there! lol Edited October 15 by leftshoe18
LPLStaff
Sonic Temple in OH and Rockville in FL are surely locks for LP. But they’re a month after this. Will they do fly dates like 2015 or schedule shows between them? Would much rather see LP play a headline show over a 70-80 minute festival slot at Sick New World. Projektion
At a glance the lineup for the festival looks incredible, but then you realise that it's not a multi-day and just a single day festival. It looks like a nightmare.
hybridcloudyfz
remarkable lineup - right up there with a big logo. definitely looking like it's gonna be hectic in different ways, especially just being a festival, so i'm interested to see how it turns out. but man, that lineup is awesome🔥
JZLP-Benningstrong
a guy in the comments said that 3DG deserved the headlining spot instead of LP lol i dont like or hate that band but its very unlikely that a band like that could pack a 40k arena or could do a stadium show like LP. Normal comments tbh. Saw those same comments under Bad Omens and Sleep Tokens Post about their show with LP. lol

Thoughts that are justified. You well known voice is no longer there and there is an rather unknown girl singing now. So being in the band it is only normal to think about how many people you can still reach with the new line up. Apparently it is at a scale it last was in, what, 2007? They might even reach new people now with how social media works nowadays. Not sure if it could get bigger than ever before but it's definitely massive right now. And yes, bands like Bad Omens and Sleep Token are rising stars and perhaps the upcoming big bands of Rock and Metal. But dethroning LP? Not sure if that will ever happen. As big as LP is, they would still open for Metallica (as they do here and did in 2015 at Rock in Rio USA). lol

Bad Omens and Sleep Token are yet to prove they can pass the test of time or they're just a trend.
LPLC24
It is a complicated scenario, LP sell out arenas because of their legacy, the famous songs they recorded with Chester. Some people would argue that if Chester never had joined they would have only become a band the size of Three Days Grace or Papa Roach. Still I would rather see LP 2.0 headline than most other headliners you get at festivals nowadays.

Stranger
One thing about festival shows: it's quite impossible for you to catch all of your fav band at the same time or back to back. some might play at the different stage at the same time. so you gotta make a plan. anyway, i'm so fkin happy they're headlining this festival. i'm sure Mike craving for this for a long time since the festivals begin back in 2022. JZLP-Benningstrong
why is this thing a one day event? lol Definitely stupid.
