Thanks for sources! Will get show page updated and song pages created on the wiki for the new intros (BID instead of COG).

Was completely worn out from 2 weeks of travel for 3 shows.

Poster: No cardboard tube. A plastic sleeve, but it isn't much. At all. And the poster is 18x24, standard size. It is not very thick.

So top tip is to take a card board tube along to the show then!

I’d be curious as to what source is considered best quality. Am I right that Sources are listed in order of quality?

Got a clear lossless (24/48) of the show. Fucking phenomenal. One of the best I’ve been to and my first time seeing them. Will post in the coming days, just need to sync up to my phone video. Listened to a bit of it and pretty decent results, some reverb from position but next to no talking in my section.

Awesome, thanks. You posting the lossless separately?

Question for you guys that have been on the show, how does the 360º stage feels like?

There are a lot of moments both mike and emily are with their back turned to you? don't it feel weird?

Here’s my honest opinion: I really liked it. I still think they're learning how to act on stage, but the show in Los Angeles was really cool.

They split the band into two groups, one led by Mike and the other by Emily. Each group stays on their side of the stage, and they switch halfway through the show. When Mike was on my side, it was really great. But when Emily was on my side, I felt a bit left out because she runs all over the stage without stopping. 🤣

Now, with the 360º stage, you end up closer to the action. I was in the section closest to the stage, and the audience has more space to get near it, making it much more comfortable to watch.

It's a shame that the show in Bogotá, which I'm going to in November, won’t have the 360º stage. I keep wondering if it’ll be the only one on this year’s tour without it.

I’m curious too. We have seats at the top of the stage rather than side. So expecting to see a lot arms rather than faces

Yes, first gotta master the audio, then sync up to my cellphone video and upload to YouTube.

I’ll upload in FLAC at some point. My work schedule is crazy at the moment. Damn economy.

Also to reply to the 360 stage comment. I loved it, my favorite thing is the speaker setup. Really helps get the sound around and I found it was nice with acoustics.

Not sure if this is considered spamming the thread, but here’s the first song of the show.

Great quality! Looking forward to hearing the rest! What did you use to record this?

Thanks! I take a lot of pride with recording.

Fairly simple setup honestly.

Tascam DR-05, SP-SPSB-4  For microphone power and CA-14 Cardioid microphones. Costs around maybe $500 for the whole setup.

I like the setup. I’ve been right next to the amp at some concerts and these refuse to distort. I like that the microphones come with windscreens and clips. I clip them to my hair very close to my head to keep them in place.

Because they’re cardioids they capture sound more so in front of you. Deadass have had people singing shouting next to me, and you can barely hear them on the recording (even in the pit)

Last piece, I use Logic Pro X to master the recording.

The clip you shared sounds great. Thank you for making the effort to record this show and going into detail on the technical specs.

Also another Logic user!

Of course! No worries. Hoping to record them whenever they’re around.

Yeah Logic is my go to for mixing my own music as well as mastering my Tascam recordings.

I actually have a recording of Mike at Pier 17, it’s a crummy recording but I might take a shot at fixing that one.

Did you record the entire show with your phone?

Can I ask you something? I've always been curious, don't take it the wrong way... but did you hold your phone up for the whole show? Didn't that affect your experience? I'm just curious, that's all...

All good, not at all. Yes I have the full show.

My memory is terrible, so I got into the habit of making audio recordings, just set it and forget it. As far as the phone goes, you’ll see the video is pretty crummy, I wasn’t paying much attention to the phone. I get a lot of satisfaction being able to rewatch it though. I’ve buried myself in bootlegs since I was a kid, and I feel this is my way to pay it forward.

If I’m in the pit, I’m fine just leaving it to audio depending on the concert.

Also video and sound editing is a passion of mine, makes the whole experience even better for me. Apologize for the long answer, I’m not good at condensing haha.

For what it's worth, I don't think the video is crummy at all. I saw some low-quality stuff online, some really bad automatic stabilization, etc. This looks solid to me. A little shaky? Sure. So's actually being there, though. It's Friday and I'm still feeling the pit!

I'm the same way where bootlegs are such a large part of it for me, too, which is why a site like this is such a resource. Growing up with dodgy VHS tapes of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Docklands broadcasts was as much a part of becoming a Linkin Park fan as the albums were. I'm very much looking forward to what you've got coming up.

Not to completely derail the thread, but I do wonder what percentage of LP fans went down the rabbit hole of getting into audiovisual media. That part with the Pro Tools rig on the back of the bus in Frat Party changed the trajectory of my life. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but it's not. Anyway, very cool to see someone similarly minded sharing here and behind the helm these recordings.

No need to apologize!

That's awesome! I don't have a good memory, so I rely on people like you to remember the details of the shows I attend.

I've never liked recording much because I felt like it was limiting my experience. It's great to see someone with a completely different perspective from mine.
